My Sunshine [何以笙簫默] Episode 12

Another short recap. We learn more about Mo Sheng's past and how we should feel bad for her. I'm not mocking her pain but the episode leaves me bored. At the least, there are a few, or a savoury moment(s). 

My Sunshine [何以笙簫默] Episode 11

I have to confess that I'm actually up to date with watching this series as I'm recapping these episodes. I'm on episode 26 and mostly everyone's happy. At the very least, I'm happy. However, the series is sort of hitting it's plateau. So, I'll stop watching and continue recapping hoping when I return, I can finish this series on a high note. 

To be honest, it's a slow series but I like the main characters and these types of romances always get me, so I'm willing to invest more of my feelings into this. 

This episode isn't great but fills us in on Mo Sheng's past and gives us a reason not to hate her for making our Yi Chen miserable. 

My Sunshine [何以笙簫默] Episode 10

I don't have much to say about this episode other then we get the backdrop (I mean, even more backdrop) of their separation. I like how when we get flashbacks that subtly link up to other flashbacks  (e.g. previous episode) but when there's so many flashbacks, I get very restless as I want the present time to get a move on and not be stuck in the past...But we're pretty much stuck in the past in this episode and Mo Sheng and Yi Chen's relationship are at a standstill once again.

Highlight of the episode: Yi Chen is quite proactive and you know he's secretly enjoying every moment.

Last episode we mended a friendship. For this epsiode, do we finally get to mend the romance between He Yi Chen and Zhao Mo Sheng? 

My Sunshine [何以笙簫默] Episode 7

He Yi Chen! I quite like you in this episode. And Xiao Xiao has now upgraded her status to Queen in my books. It also seems like Mo Sheng is slowly returning to her happy-go-younger self (see above) All is swell.

I finally have a screenshot I like enough to post as the main picture! Episode 6 brings us more scenes of the OTP and our sideline romances. I like! But I don't understand Mo Sheng's train of logic. Does she like him or not? She seems a tad indifferent.

I'm really not used to watching an airing Chinese drama. I did know that they release multiple episodes a day but this being my first time recapping, I'll never be able to catch up to their airing schedule. Haha. 

Anywho, onto the actual episode: what we learn from this episode is that good things don't last.

This whole episode is dedicated to Mo Sheng and Yi Chen's university selves. Not my favourite but I really like the young Mo Sheng.

They finally talk! It’s little but there’s something at least. I’m going to skip the surnames just cause I had two episodes to get to know the characters. I should be familiar enough with them that I can drop them, right?

Onto episode two! I haven't quite gained back on what I invested but I'm still having faith in this show. The OTP better not bail on me.

From the same novelist, Gu Man, of “Boss & Me”/”Shan Shan Comes to Eat”, comes “My Sunshine” or “Silent Separation” (a direct translation from the Chinese title). I've decided to invest some of my love from “Boss & Me” to this new show by recapping it. It better satisfy my hangover from “Boss & Me” or I’m breaking up with it. First episode started off not with bang but quite decent. That is a compliment from me since not a lot of Chinese dramas keep me at bay within the first 20 minutes. On a side note, If i were you, I'd totally refrain from watching Chinese drama trailers because they have no intention of hiding any spoilers… None.
