She finds out her helmet is with him. Chen Mo Bai is like "Steal my body you can. Steal the helmet, you cannot." This guy. Your body is that inexpensive? How many times did he say that to her now? And how many times has she indirectly reject him xD

Her goal to marry at 28 is approaching its deadline, and he doesn't look half bad. Plus he's also a CEO's son. Perhaps not favoured, though. When he quit his dad's company, his dad gave him a portrait saying "大快人心" (Very satisfying). What is up with his family, lol.
[Ep3] Shen Xi is the only person who believes in Chen Mo Bai ~ ! Talk about trust! But she was actually in the car. A witness. She also mathematically proves he's a genius. To thank her, he invites her to dinner. To make the dinner more appealing to her, he suggests they can talk about math. Hahahaha! It's true love for him. She refuses him. She needs to go home and water.
Chen Mo Bai: Oh you like flowers?Shen Xi: Not flowers. I'm growing Sodium Chloride.
[Ep4] She's officially his soulmate and his shield I say! Chen Mo Bai trusts anything Shen Xi says and rests his life in her hands as she's engineering his safety.
They're also opposites. He likes fast. She wants slow. But she definitely likes fast, resisting with every beautiful brain cell of hers not to.
They're also destined. Shen Xi agrees with Chen Mo Bai that her brother must have given the helmet to him and lets him keep it.
Chen Mo Bai asks Shen Xi what she plans to do in the future. She doesn't think about it. Aw.
Chen Mo Bai: It's all good. Think slowly. I have time to slowly delve in anyway.

[Ep5] At the supermarket, our "stealth" Chen Mo Bai asks Shen Xi to be his engineer. Is this the first time he calls her "jiejie"? He replaces her eggs with preserved eggs in her cart. Betcha Germany doesn't have them! Whether they have 'em or not, preserved eggs cannot replace regular eggs. Anyway! It seems she has a story with preserved eggs tho.

Chen Mo Bai: Jiejie – gently holds onto her wrist – listen to me. It's really hard for me to trust someone because I cannot imagine what it feels like to entrust my life to someone. Shen Xi might just realize she's in love with Chen Mo Bai. She's in denial immediately though.
The next morning, Shen Xi visits Chen Mo Bai (to help sis get him back). He bolts up to greet her when he wouldn't wake up to his housemate's morning calls. We blink and then his hair is gelled and body is suited. He changes up his tactics, and dares her to work with him for 10 days as the caretaker. She rejects. He taunts her if she's scared of falling for his fatal hair dripping charms. She says that it's impossible because of the Clausius-Clapeyron equation which predicts the rate at which vapour pressure increases per unit increase in temperature blah blah blah. Our racer is malfunctioning. She explains in simple terms that High Temp substance cannot transfer its Vapour Pressure to Low Temp substance. I got this. Sir, your hot body cannot pass your wet hair to her cold body.
Boy is in love. He's playing with her glasses when she's asleep and finds her prettier without them. He gives her a new watch because he indirectly broke her previous one. It's a smart watch. This way their time can be identical. Awww. That's really sweet because she's "slow" and he's "fast" and this watch is for them to have the same tempo.

We have arrived home. Chen Mo Bai spots her NaCl. It grows very slowly, and probably needs thousands of years. Just like her. She looks like she's moving forward, but actually her time has long stopped. Chen Mo Bai looks at her fridge. I think it's empty. She's a living shell :(
Shen Xi's mother has an emergency surgery. Chen Mo Bai dashed to her the moment he knew.
Chen Mo Bai: Don't be afraid. I'm here. Awww!
Shen Xi crouches in the corner, clenching herself tightly. Only until after the surgery is successful, and when Chen Bo Bai says she can cry does she break down. All the fear roll down in tears.
Chen Mo Bai: Everyday you stare at that non-changing crystal. Of course you think time has stopped. You. Go watch that bean sprout more. Watch it grow everyday. That should be the tempo of life. Don't seclude yourself. People who care about you will be sad.
[Ep7] Chen Mo Bai had backed off convincing Shen Xi to be his engineer once he learned that her brother's death had traumatized her. But Shen Xi is already wavering. She accidentally admits she's an engineer for the first time. Shen Xi also values Chen Mo Bai over her company (Ruifeng). When she learns that a rival agency is offering him the same terms, she thinks he should go. She even scurries after him for the contract signing to make sure he gets the best terms. However, he probably never intended to sign with them, but he's also too upset about his sister to sign with Ruifeng.
Shen Xi tells Chen Mo Bai his only choice is Ruifeng. He turns away. She catches him by the shirt. He takes it off! Then she clutches his wrist. She's quiet, but she's persistent and determined eh. He looks around, looking embarrassed. He says a girl can't cling onto a man like this. He gently takes her hand. "Because a man should be doing this." Not really, lol. But what's this smile on my face! Hmph! Stupid weak heart of mine. And he wasn't embarrassed, he was actually concerned about her image when she grabbed him, awwwww. Why's he so sweet.
[Ep8] The siblings are standing so far apart, but they're definitely closer. Chen Mo Bai agrees to go back to Ruifeng! He also apologizes to his sister for misunderstanding her. Awww. They continue to bicker though. Love it.

Chen Mo Bai donates a lionfish to accompany the one at the museum. That way, she won't be lonely! He names them Ah Slow and Ah Fast. Haha! But Human Ah Fast tells Human Ah Slow that he has to move forward for his team and partner up with a different engineer. Will Shen Xi stay in her spot?
The new engineer is a lady – not Shen Xi. Her entrance was awesome, lol.

[Ep9] What is making Chen Mo Bai giggle in his hands? A love letter?! No. Stats from Shen Xi. I love this romance, hahaha.
He gets her to admit the stats are from her. For that, shouldn't he treat her to dinner? Yes! She says no. Then he skips around and says he's hungry.

The next day Chen Mo Bai doesn't receive Shen Xi's stats because she's with a handsome man (Lin Shao Qian from Marcus). Hao Yang, our Smart Spare Tire, asks if he needs to check up on Shen Xi.
Chen Mo Bai: Do I look like someone who is that low-grade?!Hao Yang: No! It must be someone low like me who forced you to go!Chen Mo Bai: So..So I, I'll... ahahaha.
What is this company! (Chen Mo Bai is eavesdropping at this very moment). Don't worry Chen Mo Bai, they're talking about you and how she's afraid he'll lose his trust once he knows her truth. (At least that's how I hear it).
HE CRASHES. Everyone's running to him, but Shen Xi is stuck in her spot, traumatized. Was it her stats that caused another crash? She thinks it is.
Chen Mo Bai wakes up. It's Sis at his side. But she reclines back to Gloomy Sis Mode pretending she never adjusted his covers or cared about his health. And he pretends that he doesn't see her?! LOL. He's looking around for other people, anyone but his sis, but there is only his sis. Sis shifts to Mean Mode. She will fire Shen Xi, but that's not all. She wants him to cut off all contacts with Shen Xi or else she will expose her identity to the world.
Chen Mo Bai wants to help Shen Xi (even when she doesn't want to help herself!), but he needs evidence. Right now, the best he can do is not add to her stress. So sensible. And so he walks away from her. Oh nooooo! Someone accidentally pours boiling water on her feet, and he has to clench his every cell to stay put, and ignore her, especially when Sis is watching. SX's eyes. She's crying inside.
Shen Xi spirals down in her depression. When the speed is faster than light, time doesn't go forward, but backwards. Shen Xi thinks she's at that speed and that she's back to her starting point, or maybe even before that. She's unworthy of having a new start, or a new life. Her only light is gone.
Chen Mo Bai: I'm here to look for something.Shen Xi: Look for what?Chen Mo Bai: I found it. You.
He takes her on his back and makes her hold him tighter. He wasn't expecting a chokehold though. Hahaha! She was trying to make herself lighter for him. This nerd, lol.

It's not Shen Xi's fault! The lady assistant who delivered the stats left out a sticky note, and she confesses her mistake. That's actually really brave of her.
[Ep11] Even if Chen Mo Bai's accident wasn't Shen Xi's fault, there's still Shen Chuan.... Hao Yang expresses concern in Shen Xi's stats. Chen Mo Bai isn't.
Chen Mo Bai: I just want to tell her that she is worthy of our trust. Aw.

At home, Shen Xi is still growing the bean sprouts. Her calendar drops. What does that mean! Her time is......crashing?! Start over again?
Big day today! Chen Mo Bai will race with Shen Xi's stats. The press will be there. He goes to her office, and helps her (to help her) colleague pick up papers. You think he's ignoring Shen Xi, but he's asking her colleague to do Shen Xi's work this afternoon because Shen Xi has a race to attend. He gently takes Shen Xi's wrist, looks at her, and invites her, "Come with me." Awwwww.
However, it's raining. It's dangerous. He really should stop. He also can't drive in the rain (personal traumatic reasons). But he doesn't stop for Shen Xi.
Chen Mo Bai (voiceover): Even if the entire world doesn't believe, I believe. The rest leave it to me to prove.
And he proves it. Records are broken. But Sis slaps Shen Xi!! She won't let Shen Xi, who "killed" her brother, harm her brother.
Jiang Wei, the protective shadow that never leaves Sis's side, leave's Sis's side! He apologizes to Shen Xi on behalf of Chen Mo Fei. Sis reacted like that because she lost her mother in a car accident on a day like this. Chen Mo Bai was in the car too. It's why he can't drive in the rain. And today when he knew it would rain, he raced for her. Shen Xi doesn't think she's worthy.
Jiang Wei: He thinks you're worth it. *Sniffles*
The whole night, Chen Mo Bai searches for Shen Xi. She's also searching for him. Fate (uh, TV) brings them together. He kisses her!
Shen Xi changes into a dress! She just suddenly felt like wearing one. Her green dress with flowers must be inspired by her green bean sprouts. He's just a little stunned. His world a little rocked. No biggie. She asks why he believes her. He says his trust has never wavered.
Chen Mo Bai: If everything I have done can make you believe you're worth it, even if just for a little, then it is enough.
He wants her to be like the bean sprout, and her time to start again. That way the people who care about her won't be sad. Our Shen Xi, he says, deserves the best.
Chen Mo Bai sends Shen Xi home, and that's when we learn he didn't kiss her! He held back. That's even sweeter!!! She asks her friend for advice: why would he stop? But her heart should know the answer that Chen Mo Bai cherishes her.
[Ep12] Title: I'm in Your Care, Engineer
Shen Xi text-rejects Lin Shao Qian! Well, she tells him she's the engineer for Ruifeng. Same thing. (No sarcasm this time).
Chen Mo Bai happily receives his schedule from Shen Xi with both hands, and smugly asks, "Do you still need to baseline* test me?" (Because doesn't she already know him thoroughly? Is what he wants to ask, lol.) Chinese characters for baseline is "touch + bottom*, which is how he asks her in the next scene, "How do you plan to "touch" me to the "bottom"? xD.
Shen Xi tests Chen Mo Bai's endurance. He's to run 15km. He says he can run around Earth as long as she's with him. To a romantic line like this, how does Shen Xi react?! "Do you know how many kilometres that is?" My beautiful nerd, what about the "for you" part! She adjusts the plan for him as he wishes. Instead of the 15, we'll do the 76 from the 40076km (distance around Earth). He's still simpering at her that as long as she can chase him, he can run any distance. O rly? He's got to run with weights, and everything she catches up to him, weights and distance are added. Chen Mo Bai regretting is the theme of this ep, isn't it?
At least Chen Mo Bai gets a hot tub at the end! Nevermind, it's an ice tub. It's so he won't be sore the next day, and we can do this all over again tomorrow! The boys end up playing in the water, and Shen Xi records them while zooming in on one man: Chen Mo Bai.
Zhou You Ning is upset that her voluntold groom won't be her groom. Bride-laoshi, please consider the Spare Tire. She challenges her rival (Shen Xi) at work, which our nerd counters easily. Chen Mo Bai offers his nerdy engineer dinner. Shen Xi wants the fish he cooked last time. Aw.

Next on the schedule: play an arcade racing game until Chen Mo Bai can drive with his eyes closed. The purpose: train his body to rely on muscle memory so that he can race even with his eyes closed. Don't drive drunk, and don't drive blind, my peeps.
Next next on the schedule: kids' track. Chen Mo Bai ends up bullying a kid who taunted him for his turtle speed, hahaha.
[Ep13] Chen Mo Bai argues with Shen Xi. She wants him to go slow, but his DNA won't approve. Their differences are unintentionally resolved by Lin Shao Qian. Through him, she realizes she can shift her perspective and accept Chen Mo Bai's "flaws" as his unique strengths rather than change him. Who knows. Their differences might produce a synergistic effect.

Lin Shao Qian's words lurk in Chen Mo Bai's heart, but they don't defeat him. He will prove that he's not Shen Xi's choice because she has no other choice. They will arrive at the same finish line. Together. She gives him her word for that. Aw.
[Ep14] Ruifeng's rival company exposes Shen Xi's identity at the press con. Chen Mo Bai defends her. Their result will be their proof. But Shen Xi has changed. She speaks up for herself! She will take responsibility for her profession, and she will accept criticisms. But she will not be defeated. She will be like Chen Mo Bai and strive to the end. Racing is her passion. Until this press con, I didn't realize how much of a power duo the Chen siblings are. She's ruling the company, and he's conquering the lanes.
Chen Mo Fei apologizes to Shen Xi for slapping her. It's hard for her because she can't lose another family member, but she will choose to take Shen Xi's advice: rather than brood that the sun will melt Chen Mo Bai's wings, she will believe he is the sun.
Chen Mo Fei: Shen Xi, will you be afraid of losing him?Shen Xi: Afraid. Really afraid. Chen Mo Bai is a rare and exceptional driver so what I can only do is trust in his speed. This time. Next time. Every time. I will use the best cars to protect him. Chen Mo Bai, the ladies have your back! Awww.
Chen Mo Bai fixes the streetlights for Shen Xi because she had tripped earlier. He takes repair on a whole new level. SO GORGEOUS. But next time don't give her an OT first. From now on, every time she comes home, every step will light up for her. AWWW. Show talked about stairs and slides; it's easy sliding down, but hard getting up. And now look at him, lighting up her path for her to soar.
Shen Xi is worried about short circuiting. Worry about me short circuiting. It's a joke apparently. Chen Mo Bai is laughing, though. It is super sweet that she said she learned it from him. She also thanks him for doing so much for her.
Chen Mo Bai: Shen Xi, you – her phone rings – pick up first. Haha.
It's Lin Shao Qian. He phoned Shen Xi to give her cornflower. They're also called Bachelor's Button. Google says this: "due to an old practice when men wore a cornflower in a buttonhole of their suit, indicating they are in love or they were ready for courting". He says it's the flowers that grew at the place they lived together though.
Chen Mo Bai excuses himself, but Shen Xi stops him because she wants to hear what he wants to say. Atta girl! Genuinely, he tells her he's very happy that she said she'll always be with him – until the race finishes.
Chen Mo Bai: My happiness...isn't just because you're my engineer.
Lin Shao Qian hears everything. Good Bye. I'm so relieved the interrupted confession is the 2MLs for once. Now he becomes their rival for real.............
The next day Chen Mo Bai is happily spoiling Shen Xi with cake. She refuses. She wants to finish work first. The cheerleading squad boys tease them: "If you don't eat now, Chen Mo Bai is this close to feeding you." LOL. He really takes up the offer!
Chen Mo Bai: Then you work. I fe-fe-feed you.
Fe-fe-feeding isn't successful, but they share the cake! The "LED lightbulbs" are like Isn't that an indirect kiss. xD
[Ep15] Chen Mo Bai assures Shen Xi he'll be fine because they trust each other. As long as she's there, the probability of an accident is close to zero.
Shen Xi: But I still worry for you. It has nothing to do with physics, math, or statistics. A person's fear isn't only from uncertainty, but also from losing (someone).
Chen Mo Bai: So it's because you care about me.
Shen Xi doesn't disagree.Chen Mo Bai: Rest assured, I will always remember. I'm not just racing for myself now. I have you.No, these two are not confessing.
Chen Mo Bai places 2nd. It's a loss to their rival. Was Chen Mo Bai distracted because of Lin Shao Qian? Speaking of him, he actually has good news for Shen Xi. Shen Chuan's accident isn't her design's fault, but an assembly error. Lin Shao Qian has been investigating for the past two years. Now Marcus Racing openly invites her back with a dream offer: her own team. Will she go back? Will Chen Mo Bai think he's holding her back?
[Ep16] Shen Xi gets advice from her cousin that it's impossible for love not to have consequences, but who says it has to be negative? Meanwhile Chen Mo Bai will work his hardest to prove that this paradox doesn't exist.

Zhao Ying Ning is with her Spare Tire but her mind is on Chen Mo Bai and Shen Xi. Hao Yang has enough of her banning their relationship, and calling it mundane. That is love. It's like getting a Tuesday movie deal or just enjoying a spicy meal together. Or arguing right now and not worrying she'll leave him the next day. Or waiting three hours for the icecream she's eating (OMG What an incredible waste of time) all for her to be happy. Then he's down on his knees, and proposing with the almost-finished ice-cream!!!!!
Zhao Ying Ning: You're nuts. (She walks off)Crowd: Meinu, Bravo! LOL.
Hao Yang was joking – actually joking (and actually sincere). She genuinely laughs, and now he invites her for a spicy meal. They're a refreshing 2nd CP.
Shen Xi: I will return, but not alone. You and me. And our team. This is my dream now. Chen Mo Bai isn't her choice because she has none. He is her dream choice.
Shen Xi has a new breakthrough invention for the rear spoiler. It's why she was studying the wind. The condition is Chen Mo Bai has to obey her directions during the race. Yes ma'am!
Shen Xi: If I treat the car better then hopefully it can bring you back safely. Aw.
Then they both have something to tell each other after the race. Why after! Don't do this! No more hospital scenes!
Shen Xi: But don't think about it during the race. Focus, okay?Chen Mo Bai: I promise you.
A fan barges in to take their photo, and tattle on Chen Mo Bai's crush on her. What they want to say....already said? xD.
Lin Shao Qian interrupts our drama again. He wants Chen Mo Bai to realize Shen Xi is a rare and exceptional engineer. She belongs in the ocean and not a fish tank. A solemn Chen Mo Bai remembers the conversation with Shen Xi. He is part of her dream. And he will prove that he is the ocean.
But who would have guessed our ocean is locked in the dress room by their rival. Those losers. He arrives with just 5 minutes left. Did Shen Xi sense his anger and that's why she's telling him to keep calm?
[Ep17] The dude who apologized to Lin Shao Qian for their team locking Chen Mo Bai in the dressing room must have felt disappointed that sabotage wasn't LOW ENOUGH because he orders Lu Yun Hao to crash into Chen Mo Bai to protect their 1st place spot. But Lu Yun Hao disqualifies himself, sparing Chen Mo Bai. I have respect! You have a semblance of dignity, sir.
Chen Mo Bai disobeys Shen Xi. His instincts won him the race, but he crashes at the finish line!

Thankfully he's okay. I can't live in a relationship like this. LOL. How many heart attacks can I survive. Shen Xi might be thinking the same. She realizes the paradox wasn't their problem, but her problem. She almost cost him his championship. Chen Mo Bai was willing to sacrifice traction for speed; it was all or nothing, all to prove to the world he is her ocean, but it seems he has proven to her that she might have to leave him.
Xu Gong (the skinnier mechanic...one of the skinner twos) has a crush on the former engineer (Liu Qian Qian). She avoids him, but it's not a straight out "no" (like our main couple.....)
Hao Yang and Zhao Ying Ning sleep together. With clothes on. She still totally misunderstands, but she's nervous for once, and he hears all her cute ramblings.
Zhao Ying Ning tells Chen Mo Bai that she gave up on him. (She wouldn't even talk to him if Hao Yang wasn't a worried mom for Mo Bai). She knows when to withdraw from a failed investment. Chen Mo Bai angrily spits, "That's you." He thinks she's telling him to give up on Shen Xi. She agrees. That is her approach. But all of us can only be ourselves. We can only solve problems from our own perspective, and not consider from someone else's.
Zhao Ying Ning: Love isn't "I become you, and you become me", but is "I am still me, and you are still you."
Her last advice: "When you make a choice, then don't regret." Go Zhao Ying Ning. Our business nerd is our relationship guru.
Chen Mo Bai makes his choice: he attends the training camp hosted by Marcus. He's allergic to handsome entrances, lol.
[Ep19] Mo Bai is "late". Nuh uh! Lin Shao Qian says there's still a few minutes.

Zhao Ying Ning teases Hao Yang about missing Chen Mo Bai, so when she invites Hao Yang to noodles, he rejects. Then she invites him to the movies. He also grumpily rejects. But today's Tuesday! There's a deal. Awww. He hears it too: she's asking him for a date.
Zhao Ying Ning: I'm not someone who stares at the bowl and wants the pot. I told Chen Mo Bai I don't want his pot.Hao Yang: Which means?Zhao Ying Ning: Which means who's getting the movie deal with me is who's in the bowl.
There's a few more months until Zhao Ying Ning's KPI deadline (to marry). She says they can try if he's free. Hao Yang rejects! You see, he's quite busy for the rest of the year, and so if they're just trying, then fuhgeddaboudit. He doesn't want to just try! He doesn't make things too difficult for her though and pops back in with a cute smile. He tells her not to take him out of her bowl.
Our pot Chen Mo Bai is with Shen Xi who's stewing her feelings. She wanted to ask how he's been. Dude looks like he aged, I'm serious. I didn't even want to screenshot. She wanted to say she edited the stats because she really cared about him. She says none of it, but Chen Mo Bai unintentionally read her mind ~
There's a weirdo running in a jumpsuit (I think it's a jumpsuit) in the middle of the night. It's Lin Shao Qian. He's not afraid of Chen Mo Bai taking Shen Xi. In fact, if that's all he's here for, Shen Xi will be disappointed in him. This is a world stage. He tells him to "Fight for yourself". You betcha Chen Mo Bai will.
Shen Xi is cold towards Chen Mo Bai. He challenges her if this is how she treats trainees. She hesitates, and calls him back, and treats his wound. She tells him not to misunderstand this special treatment! With a special light touch that I'm sure is ineffective. He sweetly challenges her again: "Then do you keep the presents from all your students?" She kept his bean sprouts! She explains they'd die if she didn't bring them. So apparently the helmet keychain would die too eh. Hehehe. Chen Mo Bai confidently drops the medicine. His shoulder pain has incapacitated his other arm from applying the ointment, and so he'll see her tomorrow night. For medicine.

[Ep20] Chen Mo Bai has a story for Shen Xi. It's the Crocodile's Dilemma. A crocodile caught a mother's offspring, and if the mother can guess if her child will be eaten, her child will be safe. The mother answered "Yes". That was the wrong answer. Here's the paradox: the crocodile will eat her child now, which makes the mother's answer correct. The crocodile has to return the child. (But is child already juiced?). There is no solution just like our couple's paradox. However, Chen Mo Bai's moral of the story: he's not going to be like the mother. He'll beat up the crocodile. His instinct is to fight with his all for the woman he loves.
On race day, Shen Xi gives Chen Mo Bai her brother's helmet, his good luck charm. It's also raining, but he's determined to race. He asks her to wait for him at the finish line. But where is his finish line? What's his new goal now? He beats Mitsui Taku with better stats, but he abandons post and leaves the Shanghai headquarters. He remembers the night his mother died. He always thought his sister drove, but he was the driver. (Chen Mo Fei never told Chen Mo Bai, hoping he'd never know. She'd rather take all the blame to protect her didi. Jiejie! T_T)
Shen Xi flies back immediately to find Chen Mo Bai who's at his mother's grave. He's going to quit racing!

Shen Xi decorates Chen Mo Bia's race car with balloons. The surprise isn't complete but the surprisee is here. Chen Mo Bai is always an early bird, hahaha.

She attached balloons because this is their dream: he wanted to fly; she wanted to make "wings". This surprise (*Tada!* Felt like someone needed to sound excited) is to remind him of his dream, to believe in himself more, and to believe in their future. Just like how he saved her, she's saving him too. Aw. Who needs enthusiasm when she's so sincere.

Chen Mo Bai rejects Formula "S". They're using alphabets when it should be numbers to differentiate from the actual sport, I suppose. He's going back to help his sister.
Shen Xi chooses Chen Mo Bai and leaves with him ~

Chen Mo Bai's goal is now electric cars to promote Chen Mo Fei's car batteries.
[Ep22] Chen Mo Fei had apologized to Chen Mo Bai for blocking his path in the name of protection. Now she tells him not to change his path (to electric car racing). He assures her his dream is still the same. He just combined their paths.
Chen Mo Bai: You are, in this entire world, the jiejie who makes her didi the proudest.Chen Mo Fei: I know. No, she didn't know. She always thought she wasn't good enough.And did he give her a flower?
Title: There isn't just one path towards the future.
Shen Xi has a romantic story to tell Chen Mo Bai. Let us brace ourselves. It's Konstantin Tsiolkovsky and his Rocket Equation. LOL. He lived in the time airplanes were invented. He believed we could fly to outer space. His dream was mocked until 22 years after his death. Satellites were invented. So this is "romantic" as in an idealized view of reality. Gotcha. She tells Chen Mo Bai he doesn't have to stay in this "cradle" (Earth). And maybe he can actually win a championship in electric car racing 22 years later after he dies. Did I get the moral of the story?

3rd CP: Chen Mo Fei prefers her ramen at the convenience store with Jiang Wei. It's the end, and I still have a little voice in my head wondering why he's not evil, hahaha.

[First Impression (Ep1-6)] Our FL's nerdy big brain will be our ML's strongest shield. Isn't that romantic?!
Our story is building up to be one of soulmates, methinks. Shen Xi and Chen Mo Bai are the best partners. He's never felt so secure with any other engineer before her. He really can give his body and life to her. Meanwhile our FL is broken. She's hollow. I love that he's fixing her tenderly with his boyish charms.
I forget that this is an OWYM romance because they don't talk about age.
