Itsuka Kono Koi wo Omoidashite Kitto Naite Shimau Episode 7

For once I get to see both of them in the garden. And this time it’s Ren’s turn to stare lovingly at Oto. Finally. I want Oto to relax and let Ren do the chasing from now on. Haha. But, uh, that’s not the point of this episode; Ren needs to be saved first.

There are times when I’m looking for a “really good average Jdrama”. I know it’s a little contradicting but when I don’t want heart-breaking, ground-breaking, or anything-breaking, I want something simple and beautiful to watch that’s consistently good from start to finish. That’s what I call a really good average Jdrama and this drama is exactly my kind of really good average Jdrama. It is by no means a criticism of any sort.

My Synopsis: Sugisaki Momoko's traumatizing childhood has rendered her incapable of genuinely smiling. Despite that she works with kindergartens at Little Snow. As a caregiver, it is strictly forbidden to become emotionally attached to the children but Momoko can’t turn away from dysfunctional families (especially single dad families – wink wink).

Warning: at the very bottom of my post I have a lot of pictures that spoil the ending with regards to who Momoko ends up with. Don’t scroll down there if you don’t want to be spoiled. Otherwise I do try to remain spoiler-free.

Su Ran Ran's Husband Hunting Journey Episode 12

This is an episode that makes me like people I haven’t particularly liked, e.g. Qin Lang. I never disliked him, I just never liked him. Still, nothing can beat my love for Ri Xuan and that goes the same for Ran Ran. Last episode had Ran Ran falling in love with him all over again; this episode has her trying to deny that love.

Itsuka Kono Koi wo Omoidashite Kitto Naite Shimau Episode 6

Ren is in the background. 

After five years, they finally meet and it's Oto who finds Ren. Actually, ever since Episode 2, it's always Oto who's finding him. This wasn't my favourite episode but after replaying it, I've slowly realized how symbolic this episode was. It mirrors Episode 1 but instead of Ren rescuing her, it's Oto who needs to save him. 

The Imperial Doctress Episode 8 to Episode 14 Summary

The drama almost lost me but I'm back in the game after Episode 14! I don't know if I'll be in for the long haul though. With so many spoilers for the romantic development in this drama I'm not too sure who Yun Xian will end up with but I do like one of the pairings over the other. However, there's this other man I like way more who appears in Episode 14 and it's him that's keeping me at bay. 

Just a heads up, my summary doesn't go in order from episode to episode. I went by topic and then inserted a lot of my commentaries. It won't be as formal as my previous post. 

Su Ran Ran's Husband Hunting Journey Episode 11

One of my favourite episodes because it’s all dedicated to Ri Xuan and Ran Ran, which is why this episode deserves its own post (: 

Summary: Ran Ran might be falling in love with Ri Xuan all over again.

Marriages are set in stone but you know things ain’t going to be that way for long. Another thing I just noticed is that Ri Xuan has never made his presence known to Ran Ran, at least not deliberately, will that change soon?

Itsuka Kono Koi wo Omoidashite Kitto Naite Shimau Episode 5

Sweet and bitter episode with the last bit leaving me flabbergasted. There is a five year time jump bringing us to 2016 but it's not the time jump itself that shocked me, it's the transformation of one particular person.
