From the directing and writing team of The Demon Hunter's Romance (and Love and Destiny)

Helmed by veteran directors Lin Yu Fen and Liang Sheng Quan who have either collaborated or worked separately on several popular dramas that dominated early 2000s and 2010s, including Chinese Paladin, Ten Miles of Peach Blossom,  Love O2O, The Journey of Flower, Love and Destiny, The Mystic Nine, and The Vigilantes in Masks. Most recently, Liang Sheng Quan directed Snowy Night Timeless Love, though both directors have had relatively limited involvement in recent years.

The screenplay is adapted by Zhao Na, who has written a lot of tragedies. Her previous dramas other than Demon Hunter and Love and Destiny were Fate Chooses You, Feud (with Bai Lu again), A Moment but Forever, Princess Agents, Arsenal Military Academy (with Bai Lu again again), etc.

Based on a novel (盛世嫡妃 Golden Age Legitimate Fei) that's written by Feng Qing (鳳輕).
