The Imperial Doctress Episode 45 to Episode 49

If you haven't read spoilers then the upcoming development might come as a shock to you especially if you're a Qi Zhen x Yun Xian shipper. I wouldn't fear too much though just because the drama has long forgotten to be fair to Qi Yu.

By the way, I never realized almost all my cover photos are of Qi Zhen...!

The Imperial Doctress Episode 39 to Episode 44

I’m much more interested in the first portion of this segment when they’re still in Mongolia. I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say Qi Zhen and Yun Xian eventually return to the palace and so we’re going to have to say bye to Ye Xian and the Princess. That’s also when my recaps get shorter and shorter.

Love That Makes You Cry Review

Should you watch this drama? This drama is for those who can appreciate the mundane, those who can withstand a slow drama. I would not recommend this drama to someone who has just started appreciating Jdramas. There aren’t really suspenseful moments and although there are heartbreaking scenes there isn’t a whole lot of it. It’s not that funny either. What I’m getting at is this drama doesn’t use normal tactics in engaging the audience. For the most part, the drama flows like a calm wave, sometimes there’s a huge one and other times they’re small ones but each wave is planned, nothing was random. But I’m prideful I’ve deciphered how clever this drama is. Those who have complained about how boring this drama is have not actually paid attention. At least that’s my humble opinion. I’m not going to hard sell this drama because I honestly don’t think most people can appreciate it. Those who are willing to, I welcome you (:

Itsuka Kono Koi wo Omoidashite Kitto Naite Shimau Episode 10

Final Episode!

Oto goes back to square one but is it really all the same? Just like Ren who went back to his hometown in Episode 5 and came back being all emotionless, will Oto have the same fate?

Nope. Oto's a strong one but she'll need just a little support and Ren provides much more than that and more.

The Imperial Doctress Episode 33 to Episode 38

Another war has started and Qi Zhen is still a hostage. However, this time he’s smarten up. He’s finally grown out of puberty as he toughens up with each setback. Even Yun Xian is dazzled by his charms, but does she know it? Whether she loves him or not, it’s a fact that she’ll die for him.

Spoiler: Those who want to see the cow scene, it's in Episode 34.

Edit: Whoops, this is a summary of Episode 33 to 38 (not 39)

Itsuka Kono Koi wo Omoidashite Kitto Naite Shimau Episode 9

One more episode to go and our lovely couple finally get to text and call each other for the first time in seven years. Yikes. So far all the relationships are wrapping up nicely with the exception of our OTP. I’m crossing my fingers and legs and whatever else is left to cross, hoping for a happy ending.

Princess JieYou Episode 1 to 4 (JieYou and Weng Gui Scenes)

I’m just recapping/translating my favourite scenes in detail, which all revolve around Weng Gui and JieYou in the beginning of their romance. These two are love and the fact that they’re dating in real life makes me love this couple more.

You may need to read the summary in my previous post to fully understand this post.

Princess JieYou Episode 1 to 11 Summary (Brief)

I totally feel for the people missing out on this awesome drama. I haven’t had the chance to finish this drama yet because I’ve been doing too much recapping and I had just wanted to leisurely enjoy this without any interruptions but I got a request to recap it and I got influenced. Heh. It’s by far the best Cdrama of all the Cdramas this year. Show, don’t make me eat my own words later. The story is written out in history already but it’s the process of how JieYou gets from point A to point B that is so satisfying to watch. Zhang Xin Yi, the actress playing JieYou is a goddess. I don’t know why she’s not in more dramas but because of this drama, her and the actor playing Weng Gui, Justin Yuan, took their on-stage chemistry off-stage too. These two are dating in real life, which explains why their chemistry in the drama is through the roof. These two aren't afraid of any body contact. It's indisputable that Zhang Xin Yi is beautiful to stare at but Yuan Justin has never looked so fine on my screen before. He looks awfully good with facial and curly hair.

I don’t have enough time to recap this fully. Even this is only a very brief summary of the overall storyline. Episodes 1 – 4 were amazing to watch and I didn’t mind going through them again to translate scenes that made me giddy. I hope some subbing team will pick this up for you guys. I don’t know, maybe try begging on every drama site for subs? xP. This summary does no justice to this drama; there are so many tiny moments that enhances this drama’s worth that my simple summary cannot capture. Even if I were to go as far to explain every detail, I still don’t think it’d be good enough. Plus, this drama is just so pretty to watch. It'd be a waste just to read about it.
