Literal translation = there isn't even the first stroke to the Chinese character", which means the character isn't even visible. The clever part of SZZ reversing this saying (八字有了一撇) is if you notice, the word "eight" (八) only has two strokes. With one stroke down, she's halfway there.如果我的英語成績能賣給讓讓就好了 我覺得他一點也不虧 因為老師是我It would be great if my English grades can be sold to Rang Rang. According to the TV, 1 in every 3 people is a 單身狗 (= single-dog; used self-deprecatingly to mean you're single). The stat checks out. Among Su Su, Zai Zai, and Rang Rang, our dog is the only single-dog in the room. LOL.
The extra 10 points are given by Zhang Lu Rang so that Su Zai Zai meets the threshold for him to help her practice her Cinderella lines on him. The title of this episode made me think 10 points was a perfect score, and I like to think that's what the show is implying. He's giving her a 10/10 because she's perfect in his eyes.

Zhang Lu Rang and Su Zai Zai are practically official! Su Zai Zai assures Zhang Lu Rang that she rejected the boys when they asked for her number. She's explaining to him in the name of his "student", and now as his "teacher" she expresses disappointment in him. She exclaims that a stranger (i.e. girl) giving him water is dangerous! But there is medicine at the door! Zhang Lu Rang says it was out of convenience because he's on the way to Guan Fang to visit the sick Gu Ran.
Su Zai Zai: Ohhhh. He's north and I'm south, aren't they in opposite directions? Rang Rang's "on the way" means to be convenient to his feelings (心意). 心 = heart → love.Zhang Lu Rang: Your house is in the middle of the pharmacy and Guan Fang's home. Just want to praise drama here ☺️ I love how gradually and subtly Show makes Rang Rang call their place their "home". 1) When they first moved into their condo, he trailed at that word. Zai Zai finished the sentence for him. To call it their "home" felt too unreal. 2) Then when she reports to work, we learn from her what it takes for Rang Rang to have a sense of belonging. 3) Then finally, their place has naturally become their home.
Gu Ran is back! Even if they're separated by oceans, he can still bring Jiang Jia warmth. The scarf! Aw. (But even after four years, Jiang Jia hasn't improved on her EQ and it seems to have dropped to an all time low.) Also, could Gu Ran have studied really hard just to come back early?
Su Zai Zai bumps into Wang Nan. She asks Zhang Lu Rang if he remembers him.

It's not too late (Ep23) that Guan Fang finds out Gu Ran likes Jiang Jia. HA. He asks the boys for advice in confessing his love (after listing all those cons of confessing!!). Zhang Lu Rang doesn't have much experience (LOL). Guan Fang does. All rejections.
Gu Ran has a love letter for Jiang Jia that he kept for 5 years and now he's finally reading it to her! (She also wore a dress (not our JJ style) to meet him.)

At the presentation, Zhang Lu Rang can immediately spot Su Zai Zai in the crowd. He's then asked what motivated him to complete this arduous task.

It will never be shared towards another, and belongs exclusively to you. This is 偏愛 and this is in the opening title of this episode.
I believe the term 偏愛 is derived from 偏心 (piān xīn = partial). ZLR's mother was 偏心 (partial) and favourited the younger brother. Fortunately, there was Zai Zai who gave him 偏愛 from beginning to end to fill his hollow heart. This is the foundation for the ending title.
