[Drama Info]
A cast reunion for Song Wei Long and Ju Jing Yi who starred together in In a Class of Her Own. As well as for Ju Jing Yi and Zheng He Hui Zi. It was actually a bit awkward for the ladies because as they were filming this, In Blossom was airing. Zheng He Hui Zi received an overwhelming amount of support over Ju Jing Yi for the same role. The ladies should be fine with each other at least on the surface :P
This production team is eager for a hit – fine, everyone wants a hit. Director Ju Jue Liang has had nothing since Till the End of the Moon (2023), which may have been popular, but not for good reasons. The screenplay is credited to Shao Xiao Yi and Lei Jun. Their previous drama together was Generation to Generation, which fell short of expectations (although that's hardly unusual these days).
This production team is seriously eager for a hit because it's from Huanrui (歡瑞世紀), which has been struggling for years now. See Fate Chooses You, The Journey of Legend, Love & Crown, etc.
The original IP, 千香引 Qian Xiang Yin, is written by Shi Si Lang (十四郎). She's the brain behind all these xianxias: Love and Redemption, Love of Thousand Years, A Moment but Forever and Fate Chooses You.
