Gossip Corner. Li Kai Xin faced major backlash after a leaked audio clip allegedly showed her insulting Chinese people, saying, "Most Chinese people are idiots." It's especially politically sensitive given that she is Taiwanese. She denied the accusations, and it was later revealed that her former assistant fabricated the recording. By May 20, 2025, the assistant publicly admitted to making the clip and issued an apology.
