[Drama Info]
一甌春 (Yī Ōu Chūn) is Xu Kai and Zhou Ye's first drama together, but they're both "recovering" – if they need recovering – from dating "scandals" – if they are scandals. Read details in their profiles [Xu Kai's | Zhou Ye's]
The other similarity between Xu Kai and Zhou Ye: this drama took their original-voice virginity. 一甌春 is the first costume drama for both actors where they use their own voices instead of being dubbed.
Adapted from You Si Jie's (尤四姐) novel of the same name. She's also behind the novels of Unchained Love (Wang He Di and Chen Yu Qi) and the upcoming Love in the Red Dust (Wang Xing Yue and Xu Ruo Han).
Directed by Pan An Zi, whose previous work includes Under the Microscope, and Reunion: The Sound of the Providence.
The title is a pretty imagery. 一瓯春 means "a cup of spring," with “瓯” meaning a small drinking vessel, usually associated with tea, usually porcelain.
