Zhi Lei directed Ju Jing Yi's Rebirth for You, Ju Jing Yi's In a Class of Her Own, and Ju Jing Yi's The Legend of White Snake. He does have recent dramas without Ju Jing Yi like Special Lady that nobody knows about.

Zhao Na is known for Princess Agent (as well as Love and Destiny and Arsenal Military Academy), but this year's The Demon Hunter's Romance and A Moment but Forever might finally take over in terms of memorability. Here's hoping she – and iQIYI – have a different kind of ending lined up this time. For what it's worth, Yu Zheng (Huanyu Film; Bai Lu's boss; drama's producer) did speak up in her defence when TDHR fans took issue with her over the ending.

Chinese title is 臨江仙 Linjiangxian – a name of a poetic pattern (like how English has Haiku). I'm not sure if Show was meant to take it literally: Immortal by the River.
