Dai Xu: Wei Yu Tai
A lawyer who can convince you to believe anything he says. He has his agenda and presumably questionable principles but he has a clear understanding of justice. He’s charismatic and a capable lawyer but he will also sign up to be a taxi driver just to drive the girl he loves. He’ll also charge pennies to accept cases where he can stand across the girl. It’s a weird way to pursue someone, but hey, as long as it works is all that matters.
Tan Jian Ci: Guan Zhen Lei
Did my brain short-circuit? Probably. But please allow me a chance to explain myself. He might be a horrible brother but I think he’ll be a good husband. If this guy loves you, he loves you to the end whether it means scamming his own parents, and sabotaging his sister. As a girl, your husband will never choose his his parents over you. That's actually not bad.
Li Yi Nan: Wu Jing Hao
He's a time-travel boy. Inside this 18 year old is a a middle-aged man who's one purpose in life is to save the girl he loves. He used to be a nerd and a coward but now he's grown into his comfortable self where he doesn't care about bullies. Most of the time he's an idiot but sometimes he'll suddenly pull out cool moves to stir the heart of the girl he loves. The poor girl has to deal with his charms that he has no idea he's emitting. This is a man who dedicates his life to the prickly girl he loves.
Yuan Wen Kang: Xu Hai Feng
He's a capable lawyer who can love just about any girl but he chooses to stay loyal to this one girl he knew since high school. They fought each other or more like she competed with him for as long as they can remember. He knows her better than anyone else. He was always to afraid to ruin their friendship so he concealed his love for her. Whenever she's out to win him, he'll compete to her level and if he loses, he'll be a good sport.
Ma Si Chao: Chen Jun He
This is the bad boy who turns good for you – really good. He'll love you in the clumsiest way. He'll accept you however you are in your truest form and your worse form. I'd love to splurge everything he does for the girl he loves but that would spoil the entire drama.
Zhou Yan Chen: Duan Xiao
A silly boy who's heart and mind is filled with the one person he loves. He has that puppy-boy feel to him that makes girls just melt seeing him in love. On a cold winter night, he'll give you everything warm even if he has to shiver in the cold himself. Sabrina Zhuang is quite the lucky girl; first there was Wu Jing Hao and now Duan Xiao. She's probably the luckiest actress this year.
Luo Jin: Xu Gu Gu/Wen Chang
Such a good man. He's a caring leader. He was scammed by his ex-wife but is still willing to care for a child that she claims is his. Even though he's divorced, he's still hot on the market. He'll work hard and work smart. He has an unmistakable duende that attracts everyone around him to follow him. He can do it all, whether it's cooking in the kitchen, singing in the public or taking care of parasitic in-laws. As long as he's home, there will always be dinner waiting for you.
The childhood friend who falls in love with you because of who you are. You don't have to pretend to be girly in front of him, you just have to be yourself. You can eat a burger in No Face makeup and he'll still love you. Slowly, his presence becomes irreplaceable.
Chen Zhe Yuan: Ye Jun Qing
The only dropped drama to make it to this list. He’s a man that will fall in love you over and over again even if you’re reborn in another person’s body. He recognizes you without you knowing it. He’s forever faithful. Even if you choose revenge and push him away, he’ll stay loyal and complete your life’s mission.
Wang An Yu: Duan Zhen Yu
If younger boyfriends are your type, this is the man. He’s rich and hot too. This man is fully aware of his charms. He doesn't care about anyone else except his own fencing until a girl two years older than him colours his life. He has this killer smile. If he's rejected he'll continue to be loving, never too forceful. Once he stepped over that fencing line, he will keep moving forward until he scores the points he needs to win you over.
Cheng Yi: Si Feng
What is a Cdrama boyfriend list of 2020 without Si Feng? He's an extra (the eleventh one) that I had to include despite his drama obviously not fitting the term "underrated". He is a man who’ll love you ten lifetimes and spits blood for you in every other episode. There's no man like him.
