[Drama Info]

Originally slated as a 30-episode drama, this production now airs as a 56-episode mini-series. It's a remake of Game Sanaeha (Thai drama) and directed by Xi Dai (Make My Heart Smile).

Wrapped on August 3rd, 2023.

[First Impression (Ep1-)] Couldn't resist with these two, plus there's Wang Zu Yi, who I don't find to be a great actor but I love it when he gives this icy look. (I've only liked him in Extremely Perilous Love.) I get to enjoy two guys who give great glares. 🤭 Wang Ce as FL's father is giving me old-man-creep vibes here...

Forewarning: The series shows stills for the next ep at the end of each ep, so built-in spoilers.

[Ending] Happy.

[Review & Rating]

Aesthetics: B

Acting: A

Plot: C

This series is proof that good-looking people don’t always maketh a good series. Actors have good chemistry, and have some pretty kissing (and bedroom) scenes.

Bad stuff: Rollercoaster of emotions between bratty FL and domineering ML and whiplash from their decision-making (rampant noble idiocy). Bad guys are too extra and a redemption arc for some that makes no sense. So many biz dealings / failings. Too many eps for a mini. (This could also be bad editing as they went from 30ep full-length to this...).

Rating: 2/5
