April 23rd, 2015. It was a sunny afternoon. I met her for the first time. [He’d been riding his bike on campus and seen her in a pale yellow dress. She’d waved… but it was directed at Bai Meng Yao.]
I didn’t expect to see her at the library. This sudden encounter ended quickly, but it changed my college life. Then he’d seen her at the university library asking about the book he was reading. And when she’d seen it was in his hands, she’d tried to get his attention but he’d remained mute. So she had walked away and read something else but he’d peeked at her and smiled when she wasn’t looking.]
April 25, 2015. After meeting her, I started to get ready for school. I went to the recreational area, the classroom and the library, searching for possibilities of seeing her, even if there is little chance of it happening. The road I’ve walked a million times had started to become lively. [He biked to the library and returned the first volume of the book, and accidentally bumped into An Ran on his way out. She’d quickly asked for the book and started reading. He’d smiled before getting on his bike.]
Two parallel lines will never meet. If they meet at some intersection, one of them must have changed direction.
April 28, 2015. I’ve never been ambitious. And I have never thought about what kind of person I will be. But she worked hard and felt happy from her heart. It made me envious. I also wanted to have pure joy. So I followed suit and started looking for my own dreams. [He went to the art gallery to listen to her talk about her painting.]
The little chance eventually became the throbbing heart in every unexpected moment and became the joy that can’t be hidden when we are a few meters apart. [Later when she’d returned for the second volume, she’d excitedly opened it to look at the bookmark and grabbed a pen to write her response. He’d secretly smiled…and after she left, he’d read the note.]
That day, her sudden reply made me so happy as if there was some intersection between us. Some inexplicable joy kept lingering in that moment. Later I found that I had developed a large crush on her. [He’d then doodled his knight for her. And he’d chosen his dub name, Heisha.”
May 20th, 2022. I met her again after a long separation. I was a bit at a loss. Not sure if my crush is still ongoing. Not sure if she is still the one I remember. But what I am sure of is, I want you to know me this time. An Ran. My name is Yan Yue. -End of recording-
Epilogue: He had wanted to keep the library books…and had tried to pay them, and even brought them two new copies as replacements. But they couldn’t allow it. So he said that he’s “lost” the books… and left the brand new copies there.

Although we become exhausted and even numb occasionally from diligent work every day, life will still bring some unexpected surprises at some point. Although there is no extra hour in reality, those moments hidden in the fragmented time are enough to continue our past regrets into sweet love. Because of this beautiful love, our life becomes lively and exciting again.

[First Impression (Ep1-)] Don't watch the opening and closing sequences if you don't want spoilers for this series.
Easy watch and good flow with dialogue between our leads, and music is enjoyable.
[Actors/Actresses] First time seeing He Hong Shan and she really reminds me of Wu Xuan Yi in Sweet Teeth in some of these scenes. Well, Dong Si Cheng (our ML) is at least pretty to look and his acting is okay so far.
