As long as your expectations are within mediocre, this is brainless entertainment. In other words, expect good, and this will be bad, haha.

Surprisingly, this manages to be unpredictable with little twists but warning, plot may not make sense at times. Hey, I did say expect mediocre ~

I adore Wang Run Ze in this doting role. So silly and so loving~ However, colour me surprised when the scriptwriter highlights a flaw in this perfectly doting ML: in the name of love, he’s stripping our FL’s agency. Through this brain MRI/VR/whatever, he corrects himself (yay! Or he says he’ll correct himself, lol), and FL learns to be confident via being the “bitchy 2FL

This is truly Wang Run Ze at his best as Feng Mu Chen, a boy so desperately in love, who tries to help his girl over and over - but she doesn’t remember him! Even his greasiness is endearing. Now I think I’ve seen every expression of his – puppy eyes, intense love, heartbreaking tears, shaken to his core, heart-melting smile, and the most mischievous glint in his eyes. I also appreciate Ji Mei Han’s ability to switch between a sweet and reserved Ye Wan Ge, and then being ultra bratty and flirty. Plot? There are several storylines in this, but don’t be too fooled as the most important one is their story. Oh, and these two are so good at staging a fight. Seriously, lower your expectations and you’ll enjoy the ride with unexpected twists and turns even more. Just go with the flow…

Cute and sometimes dopey-looking boy in love! ✅
Cute and sometimes clueless girl. ✅
Hilarious sidekicks – more bark than bite. ;) ✅
Twists and turns. ✅
Sweet, sweet love. ✅
A teeny dose of dog-bloodedness. ➖
Story that makes total sense. ➖

What I didn’t like: Would showrunners stop creating a third couple, just to fill some quota? FL's father and stepmother's storylines…*rolling eyes*

Rewatchability? I’ve rewatched it a couple times already. I love that it’s funny, sweet, and at times, a bit naughty. Entertaining, even if it's a bunch of filler - ergo without much brains… *Looking innocuously at Run Ze the Alpaca here* xD
