This is an easy fluffy series that will make you laugh and you’ll find that kindness just radiates from it. I remember the adorable Xie Xing Yang (our Ding Man here) from
Assistant of Superstar so I had to check out this one as he’s one of the leads here. It did not disappoint.

Easy to watch? ✓ It’s only 12 eps.
Love rivals? ✓ Easily resolved. It doesn’t linger. :)
OST? ✓ Quite easy to listen to. My favorite is All Romantic 什么都浪漫 | All About Romance 什么都浪漫.
Bubbly Ding Liao Liao and her playful brother, Ding Man, live together in their uncle’s house. Her uncle’s friend, Jiang Kan comes to live with them, and to their surprise he’s not in his 40s but in their age range. However, he’s quite introverted, super smart and comes across as being aloof. (He has the cutest little smirks!) Lian Ge Yao is Ding Liao Liao’s colleague, who ends up living at their place as well, but they’re out of space. So the solution involves Ding Liao Liao persuading Jiang Kan to agree to room with her brother. Meanwhile, our happy-go-lucky Ding Man has already developed a big crush on the gorgeous and confident Lian Ge Yao, who is a few years his senior. Who wants to mop the floor now? ;)
A few (very) minor complaints. The series is a tad too short. I could’ve used a few more eps of Ding Liao Liao and Jiang Kan together. And with that being said, I really enjoyed Lian Ge Yao and Ding Man’s interactions. (She’s gorgeous but she’s not just a pretty face, while he has the cutest smiles!) While the OST is enjoyable, it overtook some of the dialogue in some scenes. (You were warned.) And I disliked the “fuzzy” filtered shots.
