[Ep1] Zhuo Yi Feng lost her memory when she was young after her parent’s death. The young Su Mu Yun promises to protect her. Since then she’s been living with Su Mu Yun’s parents or technically Su Mu Yun because his parents are away most of the time for random business trips. They live together as brothers and sisters. Her name is now Su Nian Feng.
Present time. Su Mu Yun is sleeping on the floor of Su Nian Feng’s room. She screams at him for taking advantage of her. They’re both in high school in their third years. After creating a sumptuous breakfast for Su Mu Yun, Su Nian Feng forgets her textbook. Su Mu Yun coolly arrives with it. It’s summer and she’s taking extra classes. He doesn’t need it because he’s a genius but he’s here to accompany his idiotic “sister”. Her grades are meagre but she has dreams of entering university so that she can be as far away from her devil of a brother as possible.
Su Nian Feng has a tiny crush on Qin Yao. He’s Su Mu Yun’s basketball teammate. She liked him because of how gentle he was towards her when he saved her from a basketball aimed to her face. There’s also another boy in Sun Nian Feng’s life. He’s Le Di Yin. He likes her. He has a heart disease of some sort and when he was in pain, she comforted him. He lied that it was a stomach ache so she gave him all the food she had.
Su Mu Yun isn’t short of his admirers either. Liu Zi Hui falls in love with him during his basketball game among many of the other fans he has. When her and Su Nian Feng have a tiny misunderstanding, Su Mu Yun thought she was being bullied. He quickly rushes to protect her.
When Su Nian Feng is home late because of her studies, Su Mu Yun makes her favourite tuna rice ball and helps her study. When he gives her detailed study notes, she happily jumps onto his back to thank him.
Su Nian Feng occasionally has nightmares about their parents’ accident that she forgot. Oh, that's why he’s sleeping in her room. The next morning, Su Nian Feng is running late. Su Mu Yun offers her a bike ride. He likes driving her because that way she’ll cling onto him.
[Ep2] Su Nian Feng is upset at Su Mu Yun for scribbling all over her textbook. Turns out he predicted all the exam questions and wrote all the answers. They’re not scribbles.
Su Nian Feng’s Flashback. She was on a swing and a boy pushed her. Su Mu Yun was too small back then to protect her. He cried over it. Su Nian Feng comforted him. She promised to cook for him so that he’ll grow big and strong. So that’s how she became his chef. So this whole time she was raising her protector, heh.
Su Nian Feng performed poorly on her test. Su Mu Yun comforts her and lets her cry in his embrace. The next day he convinces the teacher to let her retake the exam. She didn’t fail her previous one, it was because she filled in the wrong scantron version. Su Mu Yun tells her he believes in her before she takes the exam. Can’t he just be nice like this all the time? But then there wouldn’t be a drama. Su Nian Feng aces her re-examination.
[Ep3] This episode Su Mu Yun is very jealous of two men. There’s this boy who’s crushing on Su Nian Feng who Su Mu Yun can handle with ease. But Le Di Yin is a tougher nut to crack. Su Nian Feng values him as a friend.
Su Nian Feng collapses from not eating the entire day. Su Mu Yun runs over to carry her to the infirmary. He also notices she’s in pain. It’s that time of the month again. He secretly asks the nurse for brown sugar water.
It’s night. Su Nian Feng is sleepwalking again. Su Mu Yun is used to it. He carries her down from the window sill and watches over her. This is habitual of him.
The home room teacher offers Su Mu Yun a precious chance to be accepted to his prestigious university but he refuses it. The teacher knows why. It’s because of Su Nian Feng. He wants to go where she goes.
[Ep6] After learning Su Mu Yun sent her speech video to Le Di Yin, Su Nian Feng gives Su Mu Yun a big hug. She then sulks that it’s impossible for her to be a doctor just like how it’s impossible for him to cook well. He proves her wrong. He stayed up practically the whole night to make breakfast. He also left motivating sticky notes all over the kitchen. She’s inspired now.
Su Nian Feng works a sketchy job to raise money for a farewell present to Le Di Yin. It’s probably not sketchy. It’s mostly herself frightening herself. However, she does get on a taxi to escape as fast as she can but once she's on the taxi her sight blurs. Colour is gone from her lips. She has a fear of cars. She’s saved by none other than Su Mu Yun.
[Ep7] Su Mu Yun was accepted to a different university as Su Nian Feng but he drops her off at her campus. (By the way, she's studying medicine.) He’s also blocking every single opportunity for her to be picked up on. She belatedly learns he gave up a higher ranking university to be with her. That’s not all. He circumvented her having a dorm by renting a condo nearby. That way he can be with her 24/7. He throws her the keys. There's also her keychain (bunny) on it. That bunny keychain used to belong to Su Mu Yun. According to Su Nian Feng, he gave her that bunny that he loved because he grew tired of it. Nah, he gave his precious bunny to the person he loves the most.
When no one is listening Su Mu Yun will call her by her real name (Zhuo Yi Feng). By chance, Su Nian Feng hears it and finds a odd familiarity with it.
[Ep8] There's a viral video clip of Su Nian Feng that's maliciously edited. Instead of her saving the cat it's her harming the cat. Su Mu Yun continuously uploads videos to help her clarify that she was saving the cat but the more they clarify, the more people hate her. Su Mu Yun doesn't give up. Su Mu Yun also warns Su Nian Feng to be wary of Ou Yang Qing Xue. His sixth sense is telling him she's no innocent girl. Su Nian Feng counters that he's not even a girl, how can he have sixth senses. I didn't know sixth senses was gender specific.
[Ep10] [Ep10] Su Mu Yun searches through eight other grocery stores to find the Durian flavoured ice cream Su Nian Feng loves but he leaves it out in the living room when he receives a call from Liu Zi Hui that Ou Yang Qing Xue has taken Su Nian Feng away. She makes her listen to a recording about her parents. It's her dad's voice blaming Su Mu Yun's parents. Ou Yang Qing Xue convinces Su Nian Feng that Su Mu Yun parents are raising her for a reason. They're guilty. Ou Yang Qing Xue claims that it was Su parents who tampered with her parents' car and in the end they're the ones who received her parents' stocks. This Ou Yang Qing Xue is going to such extents after simply falling in love at first sight with Su Mu Yun.... Su Nian Feng breaks down as pieces of her memories return. Su Mu Yun arrives to carry her out. However, Su Nian Feng continues to be emotionally wrought. She asks Mu Yun to tell her the truth. She accidentally injures his hand. There's blood. Despite that, she walks off on him. Hmmmm. My patience.
[Ep11] Su Nian Feng left without a trance. Su Mu Yun is searching for her high and low but she's still nowhere to be found.
Su Nian Feng's separation from Su Mu Yun isn’t easy either but she’s set on leaving. She also changed her name back to Zhuo Yi Feng. She’s not the same anymore. Her bubbly innocence is gone. She’s no longer pouting, thank you. I will be calling her Zhou Yi Feng from now on. She’s not someone Ou Yang Qin Xue can bully anymore.
Le Di Yin is back after his surgery but he should have stayed abroad because he needs rehabilitation. When Su Mu Yun finally finds Zhou Yi Feng, he sees her hugging Le Di Yin. He’s jealous.
[Ep12] Su Mu Yun is even more jealous when Zhou Yi Feng chooses Le Di Yin to help her when she has nowhere else to sleep. Zhou Yi Feng goes home to pack her belongings. When she puts one item in her bag, he takes one item out. Su Parents try to tell her what happened but the truth is still muddy. Su Mu Yun vows to investigate with her. For the time being, Zhou Yi Feng doesn’t want to have anything to do with Su family.
Zhuo Yi Feng throws a very heavy Su Mu Yun onto bed. He pulls her down with him. When Zhuo Yi Feng tries to get up, he pulls her even closer. She almost succumbs and kisses him but he starts talking, "You have to listen well; Don't leave me."
Su Mu Yun listens to useless advice from his peer to make Zhuo Yi Feng fall in love with him. All of them are a fail.
Qin Yao visits Zhuo Yi Feng. Su Mu Yun is so jealous he can’t stay in the same room as these two. Qin Yao is actually helpful to him though. He tells Zhuo Yi Feng that Su Mu Yun spent so much time creating the smart watch for her, his graduation might be a problem.
Zhuo Yi Feng takes the sweet orange Qin Yao gave to feed a very jealous Su Mu Yun. He refuses to eat it. But with her sweetly pestering him, he takes a bite. She even rests her head on his chest as she’s feeding him. She was just about to tell him how there’s nothing between her and Qin Yao but a call comes in from Ou Yang Yu to let her know Le Di Yin’s heart condition might be curable thanks to her arranging the information. Zhuo Yi Feng doesn’t finish her sentence about Qin Yao and leaves to tell Le Di Yin the happy news. Su Mu Yun wonders when he’ll be the most important person in her heart
[Ep18] Su Mu Yun not only had a Qin Yao to deal with but there’s also Ou Yang Yu and Le Di Yin. He stops Ou Yang Yu from visiting Zhuo Yi Feng and secretly destroys the bouquet Le Di Yin gave.
Zhuo Yi Feng consults a psychologist for her sleepwalking. She starts to remember her past with Su Mu Yun and all that he’s done for her. She randomly texts him “thank you”. He doesn’t know what she’s thanking him for so she tells him it’s for “everything”.
There’s a graduation party. Liu Zi Hui gives Zhuo Yi Feng a pretty makeup and dress but the moment Su Mu Yun sees Zhuo Yi Feng he covers her up with his suit and takes her out to the balcony. His possessiveness cannot allow her to be pretty in front of other people. Zhuo Yi Feng complains that she wants to dance. He obliges. With one smooth move he takes his suit back and swings it over his shoulders. He bows and asks her hand to dance. And they dance. And they kiss. And then he's hungry. Huh. Zhuo Yi Feng enters the dance hall again to look for food but instead she comes across Qin Yao. She enjoys wine with Qin Yao, completely forgetting about Su Mu Yun. When Su Mu Yun enters the hall again, Qin Yao sees him first and purposely flirts with Zhuo Yi Feng. Angrily, Su Mu Yun leaves.
[Ep22] Su Mu Yun is there to comfort Zhuo Yi Feng after Ou Yang Qing Xue messes up her cafe. That's not the end of her. She makes Su Mu Yun jealous by telling him Zhuo Yi Feng accepted Ou Yang Yu's necklace as a birthday present that's why she's still not home celebrating with him. Su Mu Yun sees the necklace and he grows angry. It doesn't help that he had seen Ou Yang Yu drop her off home via a bike. Zhuo Yi Feng is working for him again because of Le Di Yin's medical condition.
[Ep23] Su Mu Yun was angry at Zhuo Yi Feng until he realizes the necklace that Zhuo Yi Feng loves is actually from Liu Zi Hui.
[Ep24] Le Di Yin is about to die. His condition worsens. He gives Zhuo Yi Feng a goodbye letter telling her to cherish Su Mu Yun, the person she loves.
[First Impression (Ep1-8)] Su Mu Yun is a moody brother. However, for his sister who's not his sister, he'd do anything for her. He gave up a top university for her not just once but twice. He motivates her to pursue her dream. He guards her at night, every night. He fears cat but he'll adopt one for her. He gave up an important presentation for her. He does all these things for her but the sister thinks he's tormenting her. The logic? Nowhere in sight.
[Ending] Happy ending.
[Review] I like this but it has its flaws. First of all, the main actress can't act. I probably wouldn't want to watch another drama from her after this. The male lead is the obsessive, dominant guy who also has a “sister” complex that can really turn you off during parts of the story. Thirdly, the illogical plot. Despite all its cons, I still find myself enjoying Sweet First Love. This is the bad but it's good type of drama.

Su Mu Yun just needs to call "Su Nian Feng" and she'll know exactly what he wants whether it's to drink coke or eat chips.
On a positive note, they find an owner for Snowball (Cat's name). He's a cafe owner and is willing to raise the cat in his cafe. The owner also hires Su Nian Feng as an employee. However, when she learns the owner only wanted the cat to increase sales, she immediately quits and takes Snowball with her. The owner threatens her they have a contract. Su Nian Feng immediately calls Su Mu Yun. He's about to make his presentation that he spent several nights preparing for but he drops everything to run to Su Nian Feng. Nothing is more important than her.
Su Mu Yun uses his knowledge on law (which he asked Qin Yao about) to help Su Nian Feng get her cat back. And thus Snowball is back with them again. She encourages Su Mu Yun to touch Snowball which he vehemently opposes of. She tells him that if he touches Snowball once, his mood will improve and if he touches Snowball the entire day, his world will brighten up. Su Mu Yun reaches out but he pets Su Nian Feng instead. "Your hair is more effective." She then chases him around with Snowball to tease him knowing how afraid he is to touch it.
Su Mu Yun also has his problems at school. He's team leader of the basketball team but no one approves of him. It's mostly because one of the teammates has this crush on Liu Zi Hui (who obviously likes Su Mu Yun).
[Ep9] Su Nian Feng finally gets a part-time job. She puts her arms around Su Mu Yun's neck. This is probably the first time Su Nian Feng felt a tiny shock of love. However, it's at Ou Yang Yu's company. Creepily, He knows everything about her even her fear of riding cars and her high school marks. He's hiring her as his personal secretary. Once Su Mu Yun learns whose her boss, he tells her to not go. He sincerely pleads her.
Qin Yao rejects Su Nian Feng before she confesses. He knows she likes him. Su Nian Feng cries over it. Su Mu Yun comforts her but she lectures him for not knowing how to comfort her. Thus, she wraps his arms around her and cries in his chest. Su Mu Yun's thoughts: "I want to hug/carry you forever, Zhuo Yi Feng." After she finishes crying, she tells him she might not be heartbroken after all. She's more embarrassed. Perhaps she never loved Qin Yao that much anyways. How does she know what isn't heartbreak if she never experienced heartbreak?
Su Nian Feng was supposed to attend a dance competition with Liu Zi Hui but she's dragged to another event by Ou Yang Qing Xue's friend. Ou Yang Qing Xue's goal is accomplished. Su Nian Feng embarrasses herself. However, Su Mu Yun sees through Ou Yang Qing Xue's motives completely.
Su Nian Feng gets a rare chance to go to the States to gain experience for her medical studies. Turns out Ou Yang Yu purposely gave her that chance. Ou Yang Qing Xue is upset. His brother only explains that this is Ou Yang's family matters. His father owes her and this is what he must do for her. Oh... Su Mu Yun knows it was Ou Yang's family who was involved in her parent's death which is why he pleaded her to quit her job.
Su Nian Feng drinks until she's drunk. She's almost molested by these two scums. Mu Yun is there to save her. But to protect her, he's the one who's beaten up instead. His hand is still injured from before. Does Su Nian Feng see any of this? Su Nian Feng asks him, "Su Mu Yun, you like me?" He does, he always has. But she tells him they're impossible.
Liu Zi Hui has a broken family too. Her father psychologically abuses her. He makes her attend his business dinners to please his partners. When she can't drink he forces her to drink. He yells at her for being useless just like her mother.

He pulls her in for a hug. She steps back. She doesn't want to associate with him when her parents' matters are still unclear.
Su Mu Yun walks her home. He buys her a warm drink. She takes this chance to ask about her sleepwalking. She finally knows that's the reason he's always in her room. When she shudders from the chilly night. he hugs her. She squirms out of his embrace but he tells her it's him who's cold. Still shifting uncomfortably, he reminds her that if she wants to thank him then let him hug her.
When they've arrived home, it's morning. She asks him to join her for dimsum. He updates her how much his parents miss her. She tears up but she's not moving back in with him.
Le Di Yin faints at home. Su Mu Yun takes him to the hospital via taxi. He assures her he'll take care of Le Di Yin; he knows she can't get on cars. Su Mu Yun and Zhuo Yi Feng take turns to care for Le Di Yin. In the process, they're also taking care of each other without the other knowing. Zhuo Yi Feng and Su Mu Yun are on talking terms now. When he sees her shirt torn, he drags Qin Yao to shop for clothes. These two men suck at it. However, before Su Mu Yun gives the clothes he bought for her, Ou Yang Yu already bought her clothes. Angrily he says his bag of clothes for her is garbage. Zhuo Yi Feng secretly fetches it back. She likes the clothes he bought for her.
[Ep14] Zhuo Yi Feng asks Qin Yao for help to look at a document. It's from Ou Yang company about her parents. There's something weird about it. After her meeting with Qin Yao, she bumps into his girlfriend Qi Yuan cheating. Qi Yuan isn't afraid of being exposed though, Qin Yao would believe her over Zhuo Yi Feng. The next time she meets Qin Yao and Qi Yuan, she helps Qin Yao lecture his spoiled girlfriend. Qin Yao arranges a double date by inviting Su Mu Yun to lunch too. Initially, Zhuo Yi Feng refused lunch but with Qi Yuan taunting her, Zhuo Yi Feng changes her mind.
At lunch, Qi Yuan continues to be spiteful. Zhuo Yi Feng finally exposes Qi Yuan for cheating. Qin Yao runs after his girlfriend. Zhuo Yi Feng asks Su Mu Yun if she's scary. Su Mu Yun looks away and shakes his head. He thinks she's scary, alright. He does think it's a good thing she's changed to be so forthright.
Qin Yao ask Zhuo Yi Feng out for coffee and there he bumps into his girlfriend cheating on him. The two men fight. Qin Yao accidentally knocks over Zhuo Yi Feng. Ignoring his girlfriend's pleas, he carries an injured (a minor scratch!) Zhuo Yi Feng back to her home. He notes how she has changed. Before he leaves her home, he mulls how good it would have been it if was her he chose. She doesn't reply. They've already missed the train from each other.
Su Mu Yun sees the above exchange between Qin Yao and Zhuo Yi Feng. He knocks on her door to check on her injuries. Unlike with Qin Yao who watched her tend to herself, Su Mu Yun changes her bandages for her. He wants her to move back in with him. She refuses, of course. When she gets up to leave, he pulls her back down onto the couch. He hovers over her, "I prohibit you from being in danger again." That proximity disturbs her. She kicks him out of her home. However, for the entire night, Su Mu Yun guards in front of her place. Sweet guy.
[Ep15] Zhuo Yi Feng finds a place to rent. Su Mu Yun helps her pack. She cuts herself and he quickly puts her finger to his mouth to stop the bleeding. After a tough day at work, Zhuo Yi Feng twists her ankle as she makes her way up the stairs to her new place. Su Mu Yun is her hero who carries her up the rest of the stairs. Before he lets her in, he has something important to tell her.
Su Mu Yun: Let's be together. I like you.
Zhuo Yi Feng is too stunned to answer him. When she closes the door on him, there's a smile on her lips.The next night, Su Mu Yun is waiting for her in front of her home. She was taking her roommate's puppy for a walk. He asks her about the answer to his question last night. She once again avoids answering him. He softly tells her he'll give her time.
Zhuo Yi Feng and Qin Yao bump into each other. He's getting over a heartbreak. He starts seeing Zhuo Yi Feng in a different light. After she gives him a hug, Zhuo Yi Feng realizes she really never did "love" Qin Yao. She starts realizing the one she always treated differently was Su Mu Yun.
Zhuo Yi Feng finally starts noticing all the romantic things Su Mu Yan has done for her. He secretly paints a window in Zhuo Yi Feng's windowless room. His WeChat updates are only visible to her. He guards her every night outside her home in case she sleepwalks.
[Ep16] Zhuo Yi Feng brings a blanket out for Su Mu Yun. She doesn’t want him catching a cold. She assures him that she has the smart watch he gave her; her safety is assured. By the way, that smart watch was made by him to track her health after countless nights of research.
Su Mu Yun: I won’t be assured. Handing you to anyone (other than me) I won’t be assured.
Flustered, Zhuo Yi Feng pushes him off, "Will you listen or not?” She wants him to leave (for his sake). Su Mu Yan says he’ll obey. He hovers closer to her and promises he’ll be here tomorrow then. Even more flustered, Zhuo Yi Feng runs off without her slipper. He kneels down to put her slipper back on for her. Zhuo Yi Feng runs with both her slippers this time. She hides behind a wall to clutch at her racing heart.
The next day, Su Mu Yun prepares a lunch box for her. She lies that it’s awful. After work, Zhuo Yi Feng peeks out her window to see if Su Mu Yun is there. He’s not. He’s drinking at a dinner with his basketball team. He’s heartbroken because Ou Yang Qing Xu sent a picture of Qin Yao and Zhuo Yi Feng hugging. He keeps drinking that night until he’s drunk. Aw. He’s making my heart ache for him. Liu Zi Hui is at the dinner too. She tells Su Mu Yun she'll give up liking him if he tells her he likes Zhuo Yi Feng because compared to him, she likes Zhuo Yi Feng more. Aww. Liu Zi Hui calls Zhuo Yi Feng to let her see how drunk Su Mu Yun is. Immediately, Su Mu Yun (who is drunk) asks her about the hug with Qin Yao. Still on video-call, Su Mu Yun falls over onto the floor and asks where Zhuo Yi Feng is. There's pain in his voice.
Zhuo Yi Feng finds Su Mu Yun on the floor. He clutches her hand.
Su Mu Yun: I was waiting for you. I want to go home. Su Nian Feng, will you bring me home?
Zhuo Yi Feng struggles to walk him home. She considers taking a taxi. However, even a drunk Su Mu Yun knows she can't sit in a car. The only way to go about this is to walk him home.
An almost kiss happens but Zhuo Yi Feng blocks it with her hand.
Walking him home is not possible. Zhuo Yi Feng drops him at the closest motel. The only room available is the couple room. It's too expensive but the drunk Su Mu Yun likes the room and says he's got the money. In his wallet, she finds a picture of him talking a selfie. More importantly, she's in the background.
Su Mu Yun's drunk talk: Days without you, Xiao Yun is very sad.
Su Mu Yun rolls her onto bed and traps her in the blanket. Imprisoned, she might as well sleep with him. The next morning, Su Mu Yun is up first. He has his head propped up. His gaze fixates on her; his hand is in hers. When she's up, he continues to stare at her and continues to hold her hand. She rolls out of bed but he pulls her back. He wants to know what happened between her and Qin Yao. She won't say anything except who she likes is her freedom. She leaves the hotel. Su Mu Yun still has his head propped up on the bed like he's in some commercial shooting.
[Ep17] Zhuo Yi Feng is hospitalized after sitting in a car. Her smart watch alarm goes off. When she wakes up, Su Mu Yun is at her side. He bought her four different congee because he doesn’t know what flavour she likes. She points to the one she wants and tells him to remember what she likes next time.
Su Mu Yun listens to useless advice from his peer to make Zhuo Yi Feng fall in love with him. All of them are a fail.
Qin Yao visits Zhuo Yi Feng. Su Mu Yun is so jealous he can’t stay in the same room as these two. Qin Yao is actually helpful to him though. He tells Zhuo Yi Feng that Su Mu Yun spent so much time creating the smart watch for her, his graduation might be a problem.
Zhuo Yi Feng takes the sweet orange Qin Yao gave to feed a very jealous Su Mu Yun. He refuses to eat it. But with her sweetly pestering him, he takes a bite. She even rests her head on his chest as she’s feeding him. She was just about to tell him how there’s nothing between her and Qin Yao but a call comes in from Ou Yang Yu to let her know Le Di Yin’s heart condition might be curable thanks to her arranging the information. Zhuo Yi Feng doesn’t finish her sentence about Qin Yao and leaves to tell Le Di Yin the happy news. Su Mu Yun wonders when he’ll be the most important person in her heart
Second Couple: Su Mu Yun tells Liu Zi Hui that Lin Di sold his prized sneakers to buy her a bag. Liu Zi Hui just wanted to make him stop pursuing her. However, he’s a tenacious one. Liu Zi Hui returns the purse to give him back the money. She finds him at his part-time job which involves teaching children. Seeing him interact with children, she notes that he'll be a good father. That's precisely the type of man she wants.
Zhuo Yi Feng consults a psychologist for her sleepwalking. She starts to remember her past with Su Mu Yun and all that he’s done for her. She randomly texts him “thank you”. He doesn’t know what she’s thanking him for so she tells him it’s for “everything”.
With some convincing from Qin Yao, Zhuo Yi Feng chases him but Ou Yang Qing Xue gets to him first. Su Mu Yun leaves with her. She's offering him a deal. She can clarify to Zhuo Yi Feng that Su family had nothing to do with her parents death. She can even help him with his entrepreneur ventures. All she wants is for him to be hers. Su Mu Yun refuses. Ou Yang Qing Xue hugs him. She can't understand how he can refuse her when she's so perfect. Ooookay.
[Ep19] Zhuo Yi Feng runs into trouble. She went to a night bar after she saw Su Mu Yun leave with Ou Yang Qing Xue then she angers these drunkards in order to protect Liu Zi Hui. She takes Liu Zi Hui to flee. Zhuo Yi Feng calls Su Mu Yun for help but he's not picking up (Ou Yang Qing Xue knocked his phone away). She resorts to calling Qin Yao.
Eventually, Su Mu Yun does arrive but he's still upset when he sees her with Qin Yao. Their argument escalates. Qin Yao is like Brother, I didn't mean to. But he doesn't quite finish his sentence and is dragged away by Zhuo Yi Feng. Later, Qin Yao calls up Su Mu Yun to tell him he wanted to make Zhuo Yi Feng chase him because he's always chasing her. He meant good for his brother, it just turned out awful, that's all.
Qin Yao convinces Su Mu Yun to end his cold war with Zhuo Yi Feng (when Qin Yao was the one who started it). Meanwhile Le Di Yin is convincing Zhuo Yi Feng that it's unnecessary to fight like this.
Both Su Mu Yun and Zhuo Yi Feng are struggling in their internship. Su Mu Yun is fired because of his arrogance and he's busy looking for an investment for his startup company. Ou Yang Qing Xue got her uncle to help but Su Mu Yun doesn't want to owe her anything. His stomach cramps are also back. Zhuo Yi Feng is a resident at a hospital and she's struggling to keep her emotions in check when she sees a family breaking down.
Qin Yao and Liu Zi Hui work together to make Zhuo Yi Feng jealous by mentioning Ou Yang Qing Xue. They also tell her about Su Mu Yun visiting the hospital because of his intestinal pains. That's the trick to get her to visit Su Mu Yun. These two make up. She cheers him on for his startup company and that's the only thing he needs to keep him going.
[Ep20] Su Mu Yun's project sees hope and so he's treating dinner. Qin Yao orders everything expensive. Zhuo Yi Feng crosses it all out with the excuse that it's not healthy but she's actually watching out for Su Mu Yun's wallet. Qin Yao glares at his buddy. Su Mu Yun shrugs it off that he'll listen to Zhuo Yi Feng. He's so obedient now. Qin Yao calls the waitress. He's ordering "dog food" with lemon on top. "Eating dog food" is when a couple is so sweet they're scattering their love to everyone who doesn't want to see it.
Li Zhi Hui is another victim joining Qin Yao to experience Su Mu Yun and Zhuo Yi Fengshowering their love at each other. When they're watching a scary movie, Liu Zi Hui is looking for someone to hug but Zhuo Yi Feng has already pranced onto Su Mu Yun. She's got nowhere to go and almost hugged Qin Yao. These two are so platonic, he automatically gives her an extra cushion. Heh. Soon Lin Di arrives and Qin Yao is left all alone. He's eating double the portion of dog food. Qin Yao, it's okay. I'll love you.
Su Mu Yun walks Zhuo Yi Feng home. He gives her a pair of rings and asks her to be his girlfriend. Reminded of Liu Zi Hui's words, she postpones accepting his confession. She mentions how he was a devil to her. She wants an angel in her life now. Zhuo Yi Feng hands him back the ring box but she has already slipped her ring on her finger before handing it back. He doesn't notice it.
Before she enters her condo, Su Mu Yun tells her she forgot something. She quickly runs back. He pulls her in for a kiss, "You forgot to listen to my last word. I'll work hard to be your angel."
The next morning Liu Zi Hui helps out Su Mu Yun to win Zhuo Yi Feng's heart. She's his devil and his angel but mostly devil, lol. Listening to Liu Zi Hui, Su Mu Yun dresses up in a panda suit to get Zhuo Yi Feng to fill out a questionnaire about her requirements in her other half. As she's filling it out, all her thoughts are of Su Mu Yun. In the questionnaire, she writes everything opposite of Su Mu Yun. She wants a slave, someone who can cook and clean; someone who can dance and sing. The present she wants most is a lizard. Liu Zi Hui starts training him how to dance and sing. He also starts raising a lizard. He's well protected from it with a mask. glasses, and gloves.
After all training and preparation, Su Mu Yun invites Zhuo Yi Feng to his place. He's going to be the perfect man she wants.
[Ep21] Su Mu Yun has become everything she wanted. He holds back his tongue and only compliments her. He feeds her steak. She's like, that's such a big piece, don't you know how small my mouth is? Oh. My. He even dances in bunny ears. Lastly, the highlight of the night is the lizard pet. Zhuo Yi Feng screams. That's when Su Mu Yun realizes she lied about everything on the questionnaire. It wasn't all a failure though. She loved everything he did for her.
Zhuo Yi Feng realizes she can't be a doctor. Seeing patients dying is too traumatic for her. Su Mu Yun supports her change in career. She's going to open her own cafe. Everything was smooth until Ou Yang Qing Xue ruins her cafe reputation.
[Ep23] Su Mu Yun was angry at Zhuo Yi Feng until he realizes the necklace that Zhuo Yi Feng loves is actually from Liu Zi Hui.
Su Mu Yun is inspired by Zhuo Yi Feng to improve his robot. He had forgotten his original purpose of creating the robot. He wanted to create warmth in the family by having a robot to help around. It's name will be Su Xiao Ai (= Su Little Love). He has two weeks to rewire his robot. After his robot is complete, he plans to use it to propose to Zhuo Yi Feng.
Ou Yang Qing Xue's antics don't stop. She reminds Zhuo Yi Feng that is was Su Mu Yun's family who killed hers. Zhuo Yi Feng's heart rate accelerates. Her smart watch alarm goes off. Su Mu Yun is quickly at her place to comfort her. Together, they vow to unveil the truth about her parents' death. It's Ou Yang Yu who has all the answers. He lets Zhuo Yi Feng listen to the real recording that proves Su Mu Yun's parents are partners that her parents trusted. It was Ou Yang's family who betrayed them.
Ou Yang Qing Xue goes crazy. She doesn't understand why everyone loves Zhuo Yi Feng. She had loved Su Mu Yun when she was young but he never looked at her because he only ever loved Zhuo Yi Feng. She has always gotten what she wanted and Su Mu Yun was the only one who wouldn't be hers. That's why she’s so obsessed with Su Mu Yun.
A month later, it's Su Mu Yun's award night for his invention. It is also the night he is proposing to Zhuo Yi Feng. In front of the crowd he kneels down to ask her to marry him. Suddenly, Le Di Yin pops out of nowhere! He's alive and healthy. Whatever research Ou Yang corporation invested is working. While Su Mu Yun is still kneeling, Zhuo Yi Feng hops happily to Le Di Yin, completely forgetting his proposal. Pissed, Su Mu Yun demands whether or not she's accepting his proposal. Smiling, Zhuo Yi Feng nods.
After the proposal, Su Mu Yun and Zhuo Yi Feng ride in the car. She's clutching onto the diamond ring and Su Mu Yun's hand the entire ride. She’s overcoming her fears.
Zhuo Yi Feng moves back in with Su Mu Yun. After a romantic dinner, these two are making out on the bed. But mom barges in. Su Mu Yun ignores the interruption and continue where their lips left off. However, mom opens the door again. She tells her son, "Fighting!” The mood is ruined, heh.
Su Mu Yun returns home after a tired day at work but all that that stress is lifted the moment he sees her silhouette. She's in a wedding dress waiting for him. She's more beautiful than he imagined.
Su Mu Yun: Thank you for making me the happiest person in this world.
They're married. Su Mu Yun and Zhuo Yi Feng are packing for their honeymoon. She asks him why he's bringing their wedding ID. Because he wants to show the world he's hers. He asks her back why she's bringing a weird purple turnip-devil-carrot-haired stuffy with her. He makes her choose between the stuffy and him. She chooses the stuffy because it reminds her of him. He flings her onto bed and she waits for him to devour her.
Flashback to when they were children. Young Su Mu Yun makes a wish to be with Zhuo Yi Feng forever. She asks him how that would be possible. Su Mu Yun knows, "If we marry like mom and dad, then we can be together forever."

Remarks
[First Impression (Ep1-8)] Su Mu Yun is a moody brother. However, for his sister who's not his sister, he'd do anything for her. He gave up a top university for her not just once but twice. He motivates her to pursue her dream. He guards her at night, every night. He fears cat but he'll adopt one for her. He gave up an important presentation for her. He does all these things for her but the sister thinks he's tormenting her. The logic? Nowhere in sight.
I was planning to drop this at Ep6 but I thought I'd try one more episode and in Ep7 our main characters are in university and it's a whole new setting with new sets of characters. So I was like heck, why not watch this a bit more. There's one thing I really don't like about this drama though: how childish and dumb the sister is. The only good thing this brings about is a brother who will continuously and unconditionally sacrifice for her. I guess that's the point of her being dumb or we wouldn't get such a loving brother...
[Actors/Actresses] Xu Ya Ting (Kabby Hui) is testing my patience. I saw her a bit in "The Legend of Jin Yan" and she's practically the same here. Childish acting. Ren Shi Hao is new and so, so young. Despite his experience and age, he has stage presence. He's also got Garfield's eyes. There's a certain charm in them.

Final Review
[Review] I like this but it has its flaws. First of all, the main actress can't act. I probably wouldn't want to watch another drama from her after this. The male lead is the obsessive, dominant guy who also has a “sister” complex that can really turn you off during parts of the story. Thirdly, the illogical plot. Despite all its cons, I still find myself enjoying Sweet First Love. This is the bad but it's good type of drama.
Xu Ya Ting (Kabby Hui) can't act but everyone else can! Ren Shi Hao is rather charismatic. He doesn't look amazing nor is his acting amazing but he's got a charm to him. There’s a transition of his character from overly obsessive to less obsessive. It’s not a huge change but a good enough change. The actor for Qin Yao also grew on me.
As for the story, it's rather rudimentary and kind of childish. It's a purposeful setup to have an obsessive man in love with this girl who "needs" his protection. If you don't like this stuff, don't even bother. If you like this type of stuff, this drama is delightful. I'm more on the delightful side but I can't give this a higher score because the story really doesn't cut it. For example (out of the many) Ep18 was hard to follow: a second after they kiss, he's hungry, a fight happens and more misunderstandings. However, for my overall enjoyment sake of the entire drama, I gave this a heart. Sometimes I just give in to dramas where four boys like this one girl for no good reason.
