[Ep1] Jiang Jun interviews at Yuan Shuai's (Shuai = handsome) company, MH. Both their names sound military-like. This is off-topic by the way. He's at the pinnacle of his career and she's just starting. They both know each other from elementary school. When her first allergy reaction to her tears acted up, her father "hired" Yuan Shuai, who was her senior of two years, to take care of Jiang Jun so that she doesn't cry. Yuan Shuai happily accepts the assignment and the money. However, according to Jiang Jun, he bullied her throughout school. She kept it from her father but there was something he did that she cannot forgive him for so she transferred during high school.
[Ep4] Yuan Shuai bought Jiang Jun pads and brown sugar water (it’s good for replenishing blood). He also let her sleep in his car until she wakes up naturally.
Jiang Jun is suspected of betraying her company (MH) because of a failed project. Her career is now on the line. Xu Yi cutely offers to support her for life even if she has to sell ramen for life.
Jiang Jun asks Yuan Shuai if he thinks he knows her. He’s like of course. She counters him that she’s changed in the years they were separated. She tells him to get used to the new her. A flashback tells us what has changed her: her father’s death. It is also because of her father she is determined to stay in MH. Her non-crying emotional scene was pretty good.

Yuan Shuai fails Jiang Jun's interview when she was the top interviewee. Xu Li helps her exact revenge by calling him a bastard boyfriend in front of the press at a gala. Yuan Shuai figures it was Jiang Jun who set him up. Thus, to get back at her, he calls her his girlfriend in front of all the reporters. They even have an accidental kiss to wrap up the episode.
[Ep2] Jiang Jun is hospitalized because she cried (she was reminded of how Yuan Shuai bullied her in the past). Yuan Shuai failed her interview on purpose because he knows she's too emotionally weak to enter MH. He doesn't want her to cry.
Yuan Shuai is leasing his condo all for one person: Jiang Jun. Thus, he makes a weird request to his broker that he can only rent it to a girl with Jiang as her surname. He also bribes Jiang Jun's landlord to terminate their contract so that she has to live across from him.
Yuan Shuai finds a picture of Jiang Jun when she was back in high school. They were on friendly terms at that time. She was taking care of an abandoned dog on school grounds. To this day, Yuan Shuai is taking care of this dog.
Second Couple: Xu Li falls in love at first sight with Li Xiao Chuan.
[Ep3] Jiang Jun has successfully entered MH. She's locked in the office with Yuan Shuai. It's dark and her phone is out of battery. Her period suddenly arrives and she's cramping. Immediately, Yuan Shuai finds the emergency lights and frees them from the office. He knew how to get out all along. He puts his jacket over her and lets her wear his shoes. The laces are loose and he lectures her for still not knowing how to tie them properly. He puts her foot on his thigh to tie her laces for her. He remembers in the past he had taught her and in return he made her pay up. He wanted her to call him "Yuan Yuan Ge Ge ("Oppa" equivalent) as the payment.
Second Couple: Xu Li was fired and now she works at the convenience store all to pursue her new love: Li Xiao Chuan.

In their high school years, Yuan Shuai was forced to study abroad. He wrote a letter to Jiang Jun telling her how much he liked it when she called him Yuan Yuan Ge Ge although she only called him that once. [Ep6] Yuan Shuai and Jiang Jun take photo booth pictures together with similar poses as they did in high school. She doesn’t remember it but he does. The pose is him tugging her ponytail. Now he has new pictures of them together: them making hearts (that lack compatibility).
Yuan Shuai wants to know the current her. His plan is this: pretend to be sick for her to take care of him.

[Ep7] Jiang Jun finds out the entertainment company they're investing in has problems: the CEO is making female trainees sleep with him. Yuan Shuai doesn’t like her way of investigating because it involves drinking with three male trainees. He gulps down three can of beers to take her out. On their way home, a drunk Jiang Jun falls asleep on Yuan Shuai’s shoulders. The OST reminds me of Backstreet Boys for some reason.
Second Couple: Li Xiao Chuan treats Xu Yi to dinner. She thought he was interested. He just wanted her to fill in a survey for his dating app. Xu Li continues to make countless moves on him but he innocently diverts them all.
[Ep8] Jiang Jun realizes Yuan Shuai is looking out for her. To thank him, she bestows him a finger heart and that makes him smile instantly. These two are on much friendlier terms now.
[Ep9] Jiang Jun's water is out in her condo so she showers at Yuan Shuai's place. When she's there, she realizes his dog is also called Wang Cai (the same name as the one she took care of in high school).
[Ep11] This almost-kiss happened between Yuan Shuai and Jiang Jun.
Xu Li wants to watch a movie with Li Xiao Chuan but he's a brick and keeps refusing her invitations. She gets Jiang Jun to help her which involves bringing in Yuan Shuai. It's a double date. Xu Li and Li Xiao Chuan watch a horror movie meanwhile Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai watch a tearjerker. Jiang Jun is about to cry so Yuan Shuai covers her eyes and lets her sleep on his shoulder. It's been ages since she's seen a movie because she won't know if there's ever a crying scene. He promises to watch movies with her from now on. She slowly falls asleep on his shoulders. When she's up, there's five minutes left until the next movie. Another customer is fed up with them for hogging her seat (to an empty theater...anyways). The customer also thinks Yuan Shuai looks like Luo Yun Xi. She calls Jiang Jun an auntie and how lucky she is to have her hands on him. Jiang Jun yells back that people think she looks like Bai Lu to redeem herself.
Jiang Jun finds out Yuan Shuai fooled her into living in his condo. She doesn't like it one bit.
[Ep12] There's another almost-kiss between Yuan Shuai and Jiang Jun.
In Jiang Jun's memories of her high school years, Yuan Shuai didn't catch her for the tree when he said he will. However, in Yuan Shuai's version, he did try to catch her but the girl was jumping from a tall tree down onto him. There's only so much a boy can do to protect the girl he loves from injuring herself. His elbows were bloody after he tried to catch her but Jiang Jun never knew that.
[Ep13] Jiang Jun knows Yuan Shuai had good intentions for renting his condo to her. She's forgiven him. A few days later, she's purposely waiting for him to get off work so she can ask him to rent his place again. He's all smug again.
[Ep14] Yuan Shuai coldly rejects Li Xiao Chuan's request for an investment in his dating-marriage app. On the topic of dating, Jiang Jun is surprised to learn Yuan Shuai never dated. She also never had a boyfriend because she doesn't want to cry after breaking up. She asks him why when he's obviously pretty popular and he doesn't have a severe allergy like her. He looks straight into her eye and tells her he's always had a crush on this one person – stares right at her – and if he were to confess, he's afraid he might lose her. Jiang Jun becomes self conscious and looks away.
Yuan Shuai heeds to Jiang Jun's words and gives the app a chance. Jiang Jun (at Xu Li's request) asks Du Lei to look into the app as well. Thus, the three of them (Yuan Shuai, Jiang Jun, and Du Lei) are trying the app on their own. Lo and behold, Yuan Shuai and Jiang Jun are 100% compatible. They don't know each other's identity though. He knows her as "Juno" and she knows him as "Zeus". What narcissistic handles. Imagine calling yourself Zeus. By the way Juno is the Roman equivalent of the Greek goddess Hera. Zeus and Hera are husband and wife but they don't exactly have the romantic relationship anyone would yearn for... Zeus, although all powerful, is awful. He's a cheater and a rapist and a liar. Hera is awful to women too because of Zeus cheating on her. The drama probably didn't think too deep into this and only used Zeus as the powerful ruler of all gods and Juno as the goddess of love and marriage. Juno and Zeus have a conversation where they both acknowledge each other's high ego. Zeus tells her he has a crush on this girl for many years. Juno is quite intrigued. I guess they're going to be online friends now. By the way Du Lei didn't find a match on the app.
Yuan Shuai asks Jiang Jun to take care of Wang Cai (dog). He tells her the combo to his condo. It's 0905. She remembers that as the day he failed her. He remembers that as the day they reunited.
There’s a company dinner. Jiang Jun becomes unconsciously jealous when Yuan Shuai is nice to another girl (Qiao Na). Jiang Jun consults in Zeus for some love advice. She asks him if a boy is nice to you and it makes you touched but then he’s also nice to other girls, what does that mean. Zeus has the same complaint about the girl he likes. Zeus adds that those are the woes of loving someone. However, Jiang Jun is in denial about her love for Yuan Shuai.
[Ep16] Jiang Jun completes the Rubik's cube that Yuan Shuai drew on. On the white face, he drew a picture of her crying That’s cute.
Yuan Shuai has acute pancreatitis (?). Some sort of acute inflammation that’s common and curable with surgery. He’s scared of surgeries but Jiang Jun insists. Her level of anxiety for him makes the doctor think she’s his wife. Yuan Shuai loves that comments and calls her his wifey the entire time. However, he’s not so happy when he’s about to enter the operation room. Dramatically, he tells her that if he were to exit the operation room with his eyes closed (dead), then call his parents for him and she can take his dog (Wang Cai) and have her follow her surname so that he's Jiang Wang Cai. Jiang Jun scoffs, "You might as well tell me your bank account password too. Is there any more in your will, Yuan Wang Cai?" Yuan Shuai is being pushed away. He yells back to her that his bank password is "12345678". This guy is okay, lol. She keeps making fun of him being wimp and calls him the War God. It’s a nod to his Night God character in Ashes of Love?
Du Lei looks like he’s had a tough upbringing his entire life. His father adopted him to be his dead son’s puppet and raised him like a heartless robot.
[Ep17] When Yuan Shuai is awake, Jiang Jun is no longer there. However when he calls her up that he’s in a critical condition, he sees how frantic she is. He forgives her for breaking her promise of not being there when he wakes to.
By the way, Jiang Jun is the type of girl who can’t peel apples and can’t cook. But she can drive with mad skills. Yuan Shuai’s expressions when he was in her car and when he ate her food was cute.
Yuan Shuai’s trusty employee needs his help. He needs his condo to look rich to his girlfriend. Yuan Shuai gladly offers his because he wants to live in with Jiang Jun. There was another hilarious moment of his employee + Jiang Jun calling him Xiao Yuan. He’s not used to being anyone’s underlying and Jiang Jun gleefully takes advantage of it while she can. Her happiness is short lived when she discovers he’s moving in.
Yuan Shuai tried to scam Jiang Jun out of her room so she can take the couch instead of him. She’s adamant on keeping her room, but when the night rolls in, she willingly gives up her room. He did just have a surgery after all. It’s his turn to think she must have booby-trapped her room.

[Ep18] Yuan Shuai is hiding something in the closet and the last person he wants to see it is Jiang Jun. But she’s searching his closet. He quickly dashes to stop her and miraculously his lips meet hers. Both are secretly in love with that accidental kiss, especially Jiang Jun. Everywhere and everything is lips to her. She even sees Yuan Shuai skirting his way towards her.
This drama is pure Luo Yun Xi and Bai Lu pleasure.
[Ep19] Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai are invited to an event hosted by the dating app because their the first and only 100% compatible couple. In support of the app, the two of them show up. They're blindfolded on stage, their backs are facing each other. They're asked a series of question. If the answer is yes, they take a step back. If no, they take a step forward. And so Xu Li starts asking the questions. Single? Yes. Believe in love? Yes. Believe that you can love only one person in a lifetime? Yes. Believe in fate? Yes. Every 'yes' brings them closer to each other.
Juno and Zeus are indeed fated to be. With no more steps to take, they turn around and remove their blindfolds. Their eyes meet. It's love ~ With the camera still on them, they turn around to watch the whales. Their shoulders touch. He taps her with his fingertip. She taps him back twice. Eventually, their fingers twirl around each other. Ou.
Unrelated. I just watched the finale for Sparkle Love and it's at the same aquarium with the same whales. My whale knowledge is zero. Those are Sperm Whales?
Su Chang's girlfriend (Xin Xin) visits and Su Chang needs to switch spots with Yuan Shuai pronto. Yuan Shuai is quite the nice man pretending to be the secretary for Su Chang but he doesn't quite get his reward. He's bullied by Jiang Jun. First she calls him Xiao Yuan and also Yuan Yuan. Then she makes him pick out food she doesn't like. Then she wants him to feed her. She's loving it. He takes it all in with gritted teeth but when Xin Xin recounts how Su Chang complained about his boss (aka Yuan Shuai) for being a bald man, that's his last straw. Jiang Jun had to stroke his back to calm him from erupting.
[Ep20] Qiao Na confesses her love to Yuan Shuai. He rejects her. While he went to the washroom, she picks up his call. It's Jiang Jun. She's waiting for him for their hotpot dinner date. Jiang Jun is angry at him for ditching her. He starts throwing out everything in his closet and that's when she finds his treasure box. It's a box that contains everything Jiang Jun related from the picture he took of her in high school with Wang Cai to the Rubix cube. She finally realizes Wang Cai is that Wang Cai. She finally realizes he's liked her since high school. She also finds his love letter addressed to her.
Yuan Shuai's love letter: Before I leave, I want to tell you a secret, a secret that only you who are so dumb didn't figure out sooner – at the bottom corner of the letter – I always secretly loved you!
Jiang Jun's eyes are red. I thought Yuan Shuai was supposed to not make her cry. She runs out to meet Yuan Shuai. He's also determined to confess after being provoked by Qiao Na for being cowardly with his love.
Yuan Shuai: Jiang Jun, I don't want to wait anymore!Jiang Jun: Yuan Shuai, I want to cry.
Yuan Shuai covers her eyes. He kisses her.
Jiang Jun: I love you.

Second Couple: Li Xiao Chuan finally feels something for Xu Li.
Third Couple: Linda asks Du Lei if he can consider her to be a woman. His response: No. There's someone he likes. Too late ~
When his lips are still on her neck, Jiang Jun nudges him to stop. Li Xiao Chuan is recording everything. He uses the clip to bargain them for data. He’s analyzing his app and how it has enabled them to date. Yuan Shuai lies that he only started liking Jiang Jun recently. But she knows. She immediately exposes him by reciting his love letter to her from high school. Yuan Shuai has had enough. He pushes Li Xiao Chuan out of his home (Jiang Jun’s condo) with the excuse of needing to deepen his relationship with Jiang Jun.
An exasperated Yuan Shuai slumps back on the chair. Jiang Jun timidly asks him how he was planning to deepen their relationship. He chokes. She quickly takes her leave. A second later, she’s back and drags him in her room. What’s next? Well. He pushes her down. She flips him over. You know, that stuff.
She’s dressed up for Yuan Shuai breakfast. She tells him she can make breakfast. He’s a little surprised but gives her the apron. Plus a forehead kiss. He soon regrets it and takes the apron back from her. I like how he fixed her hair when he took off her apron.
Yuan Shuai hums his way to work. He leans over at Jiang Jun’s work desk and asks her about her sleep last night and her sleeping plans tonight. Jiang Jun gawks at him.
Because of a jealous Qiao Na, Jiang Jun has OT. Yuan Shuai accompanies her. They make out some more. Hotly make out. However, Jiang Jun is quick to shove him under her desk when Qiao Na is back to check on her.
Yuan Shuai and Jiang Jun continue where they left off in the office at home on her couch. Jiang Jun wants the lights on but he wants it off for the atmosphere. It’s so dark there, they don’t see Xu Li right behind the couch. There just isn’t a make out scene without an interruption. She belatedly learns they’re dating. She’s upset at Jiang Jun for not telling her aaaand she’s not that impressed with Yuan Shuai either. Thus, to win a girlfriend’s best girl-friend is to win their stomach. Yuan Shuai makes yummy food for Xu Li. Xu Li is team Yuan Shuai now.
An update of Qiao Na. She has a video clip of Yuan Shuai and Jiang Jun making out in the office. She’s planning to spread it. She also made a huge blunder at work but Yuan Shuai keeps her safe. He’s got 24 hours to fix her problem or he’s out too.

[Ep22] Qiao Na appreciates Yuan Shuai’s help. Prior to his help, she had already decided to not spread his kissing pictures but she does warn him to consider his reputation. Jiang Jun is a little jealous seeing Yuan Shuai and Qiao Na working together the whole night.
Jiang Jun is drugged and locked in a hotel room. Someone is using her to threaten Du Lei. Fortunately, it’s an initial threat to Du Lei. He finds her and sends her to the hospital. The one behind this isLinda. So the psychotic, annoyingly jealous female character is Linda and not Qiao Na.
Du Lei’s background story with Jiang Jun’s father. Linda pressured Du Lei to convince Jiang Jun’s father into signing a contract which destroyed his company. Her dad ended up dying from heart attack after the failure of his business. (Jiang Jun’s motive to join MH is to verify for herself whether these investment companies are all indeed evil). Du Lei did 5% of the work but the way Linda worded it, it’s like he’s supposed to take 95% of the blame.
[Ep23] Yuan Shuai has a business trip. He won’t be able to spend New Years with Jiang Jun. He summons her into his office, closes the blinds and gives her a hot kiss over the table. You know what’s coming next. An interruption. Qiao Na opens the door to Yuan Shuai's office. Yuan Shuai and Jiang Jun scramble off of each other. The result is Jiang Jun rolling off the table and Yuan Shuai flying to the windows. When the girls are alone Qiao Na confronts Jiang Jun. Although he's dating Jiang Jun now, Qiao Na still likes Yuan Shuai. The last to laugh is still up in the air.
Jiang Jun is taking a plane back to her hometown for New Years. Shes asleep. Yuan Shuai switches his business class seat with another passenger just to sit next to Jiang Jun. She wakes up in time for the countdown. When she takes off her eye mask, she’s surprised to see him in front of her eyes. It’s like a dream come true. Their hands interlace as they wish each other a Happy New Years.
Second Couple: Xu Li and Li Xiao Chuan celebrate New Years together too. She confesses to him. He’s moved? I don’t know because he says they only have 1% compatibility on his dating app. They should be impossible. Perhaps, he's rejecting her because he doesn’t want to prove his app is wrong? If it is, that's awful of him.
Yuan Shuai pulls Jiang Jun to sleep with him on the couch. Mom catches them. She lectures her daughter for sleeping with a taken man. Her attitude takes a 180 degree turn when she realizes his girlfriend is Jiang Jun. Instantly, she pretends to sleepwalk to give them alone time. Mom loves her new future son-in-law. Yuan Shuai asks Jiang Jun if she sleepwalks too. Jiang Jun smirks and doesn’t answer him, lol. The two proceed to laugh loudly together for no good reason. These two, are they even acting or are they just playing with each other? The next morning, mom is just as lovely. She gives her new future-son-in-law a big o'glass of OJ. Yuan Shuai's smile freezes. His poor bladder can't handle anymore drinks.
The happiness shatters by the end of this episode. Mom finds out Yuan Shuai and Jiang Jun work at MH. Mom wants Jiang Jun to quit immediately.
[Ep25] Jiang Jun’s mother tells Yuan Shuai how Dad’s company started failing. He created a noodle brand that MH invested in but MH kept forcing him to change his direction. Eventually his company was sued for food poisoning. Yuan Shuai promises Mom to investigate into Dad’s case. Mom lets her daughter work at MH for now and she’s still very accepting of her new future-son-in-law.
Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai are on the plane. There are girls squealing at his handsomeness but snicker at Jiang Jun's appearance. Yuan Shuai quells their voices by kissing Jiang Jun. She hides in her turtle neck after the surprise kiss. He laughs at her for being jealous over this. What is she going to do for the rest of her life? Because he's going to stay handsome his entire life. Jiang Jun smiles. She asks him if he’s going to let her cry in the future. Yuan Shuai ponders on this seriously. He tells her if there is something that makes her cry, she can cry.
Yuan Shuai: Before you faint, I will catch you.Jiang Jun: Why so cheesy?Yuan Shuai: Because I love you.Jiang Jun whispers: I love you too.
Yuan Shuai and Du Lei find themselves working together to investigate Jiang Jun’s father’s case. Somehow Du Lei becomes Yuan Shuai’s secretary, heh.
[Ep27] Yuan Shuai is accused of accepting bribes by Zhu You Yi. He's interrogated by MH executives including Lin Tai Mo. Furthermore, Lin Tai Mo personally threatens Yuan Shuai to leave MH and stop investigating into Company C otherwise he'll mess with people he care about (his parents and Jiang Jun).
To protect Jiang Jun, Yuan Shuai purposely distances himself from her. He admits his crime to Jiang Jun and breaks up with her. Jiang Jun takes hesitating steps towards Yuan Shuai, asking him to look her in the eye. He had his eyes down the entire time. He gathers everything he has and looks her in the eye. The breakup is official.
Jiang Jun walks home. Tears are rolling down. She calls Yuan Shuai a liar but just when she faints, Yuan Shuai catches her. He was always right behind her. He sends her to the hospital in time.
At MH, there's someone new to take over Yuan Shuai's position. It's Du Lei. Cool. So he's receiving the baton in the investigation. Qiao Na consults with Jiang Jun that she thinks Du Lei is the one behind Yuan Shuai's downfall.
[Ep28] Jiang Jun's father's death is the result of Lin Tai Mo's doing. When he was having a heart attack, Lin Tai Mo took the medication from him and watched him die. Linda was a bystander who saw everything and did nothing.
Du Lei and Yuan Shuai have been a team since Jiang Jun's elevator incident. They know Lin Tai Mo is endangering her but they have nothing on Lin Tai Mo to charge him of his crimes. Du Lei suggested to befriend him to catch him. Thus, they enlist Zhu You Yi to accuse Yuan Shuai which means Zhu You Yi is working with Yuan Shuai and that is how Du Lei got his position in MH.
Jiang Jun is doing her own rounds of investigation. Through Zhu You Yi, she learns Yuan Shuai never did the things he accused him of. Through Li Xiao Chuan, Jiang Jun learns Yuan Shuai never left the country. He's in Shanghai. Yuan Shuai had actually ordered all these people to keep everything a secret from Jiang Jun but obviously everyone failed.
Second Couple: Jiang Jun was only able to get information from Li Xiao Chuan through Xu Li. He has fallen in love with Xu Li but he wants her to wait because he wants to make them 100% compatible first. O-kay.
[Ep30] Du Lei gives Linda a tearful hug. This is her redemption scene.
Jiang Jun is mad at Yuan Shuai. Thus Yuan Shuai begins his plan of winning her back. First, he tails her. That’s when he spots a suspicious man stalking the girls too. It’s Li Xiao Chuan. He’s tailing Xu Li. The two men join forces to act creepy together. They think hiding behind newspaper as they walk can totally camouflage their presence.
Yuan Shuai’s formula to win is to pester, pester, pester. He’ll pester her until she forgives him. First he buys, buys, buys until Jiang Jun is annoyed. Despite being exhausted after accepting so many presents, she's actually happy. But still unforgiving.
Yuan Shuai visits Jiang Jun's mother. He’s not here because of Jiang Jun though. He promised Mom he would handle Dad’s case and he’s here to hand over Dad’s brand name to Mom. Jiang Jun is touched. When the two are alone, he asks her to forgive him. Jiang Jun questions him if he knows why she’s angry. He knows. It’s because he underestimated her love for him. He could have depended on her but he chose not to. Since he knows his fault, Jiang Jun forgives him but not without a punishment. She calls him up to the chalkboard (they’re in a classroom) for some butt spanking time. He screams before her stick even touches him. She does spank his butt a few times until he stops her by hugging her.
As they leave the classroom, two kids walk by them. A girl asks the boy when he’s going to stop bullying her. Jiang Jun asks Yuan Shuai the same, “How long are you going to bully me, Yuan Yuan ge ge?” He’s not going to bully her anymore. He’s going to protect her from now on. When she asks how, he replies, “In my arms and I’ll never let go.” He hugs her and she hugs him back.
Second Couple: Li Xiao Chuan’s app is a success. He has a press conference where he tells the reporters his inspiration is from Xu Li. In the middle of the press-con, he runs to find her. Reporters are after him. It’s all romantic but when they try the app again, they’re still at 1%. Incompatible. A depressed Xu Li walks away. Li Xiao Chuan calls back to her, I love you.” They kiss and suddenly their smart watches light up. They’re compatible. This app is wonky.
[Ep31] It’s the morning and we hear Yuan Shuai screaming in bed. Both him and Jiang Jun are squirming under the blanket. She’s destroying his hairstyle. That’s all.
Yuan Shuai is still working for GE which makes him and Jiang Jun business competitors. Both of them are headstrong and will do anything to win. With that personality, they bring their rivalry home. Jiang Jun can’t let her guard down because Yuan Shuai is just too cunning. He wins the client by sneaking into her phone.
When the competition is over (temporarily), Yuan Shuai returns home with a cake in hand. She crosses her leg on the sofa claiming she’s not mad. They promised to keep business as business. However, she doesn’t like it at all that Jia Yuan Ji is Yuan Shuai’s secretary because he hangs out with too many girls. Yuan Shuai assures Jiang Jun that no matter how many “flowers" there are around him, they cannot match the fragrance of the flower at home.
In bed, Jiang Jun asks Yuan Shuai if she’s not spending enough time with him because she’s so busy with work. Uh, so is Yuan Shuai. Yuan Shuai respects her decision to work but as her boyfriend, he would like her to relax a bit. Plus he can support her and “a few more”. He meant he could support a few more children with her.
The next morning is another round of arguments. Yuan Shuai had promised to help Jiang Jun with a client but in front of this client, he claims that Jiang Jun is his cousin. Displeased, Jiang Jun steps on his foot. The client further asks Yuan Shuai about his girlfriend, noting how she’s got a temper. The client advises Yuan Shuai to find a girl who’s more docile and not the type to ask for presents and stuff. Jiang Jun’s lips twist into a knot. Her temper eventually seizes when Yuan Shuai gifts her a watch suitable to her taste. Temper, check. Present, check. Jiang Jun somehow fits the bill the client described.
Third Couple: Qiao Na has a pursuer. It’s GE’s CEO’s son, Jia Yuan Ji.
[Ep32] Jiang Jun faints from work overload that Du Lei assigned her. He got too jealous she received help from Yuan Shuai for their client and that she’s not wearing the watch he gave her.
This episode Yuan Shuai thinks Jiang Jun is pregnant. He hugs her and decides to name their child Yuan Smart. Such a smart name. But she tells him her period just arrived. Yuan Shuai is disappointed. However, that doesn’t stop him from considering marriage. He’s buying her a ring.
[Ep33] Shen Xin resigns because Du Lei told her to take responsibility for the error of their company. If she doesn’t resign then Jiang Jun needs to take the responsibility. What is wrong with Du Lei? Jiang Jun is upset and feels responsible. Yuan Shuai assures her she can rely on him. He doesn’t want her stressing out over this. Jiang Jun is comforted but she still feels Shen Xin’s resignation is partly her fault. She whispers to the sleeping Yuan Shuai that once she handles Shen Xin’s matters, she’ll quit and be his wife. She gets back up in the middle of the night to work on the case again.
Yuan Shuai is furious with her. She’s not considering her own health at all. He wants her to quit pronto. He can support her. Hearing this, Jiang Jun is enraged. Yuan Shuai would always force his thoughts on her. She doesn’t need him to support her. She wants her decisions about her own life to be respected by him.
When Jiang Jun doesn’t enter the bedroom again that night, Yuan Shuai brings her a blanket and also prepares breakfast for her. Jiang Jun forgives him. Slightly.
Yuan Shuai tells Jiang Jun that Du Lei purposely fired Shen Xin because she knows something she wasn’t supposed to. Jiang Jun finds it hard to believe him because Du Lei doesn’t seem like that type of guy. Yuan Shuai drops the bomb on her: Du Lei is only nice to her because he likes her. This is surprisingly news to Jiang Jun.
Third Couple: Qiao Na walks into wok to find a cute Jia Yuan Ji singing her a love song. She waits patiently until he finishes singing to glare at him and everyone to leave. Ha. I really like her expressions. In actuality, she was a little touched by his romantic act. By the way Qiao Na and Jiang Jun are friends now.
Second Couple: Xu Li runs away from home because Li Xiao Chuan isn’t celebrating their marriage anniversary. She bumps into Jia Yuan Ji and they somehow connect and he somehow helps her make Li Xiao Chuan jealous. Li Xiao Chuan punches him.
[Ep35] There's a celebration for Shen Xin being accepted into GE. However, after Du Lei’s manipulation, Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai get into trouble for recommending her. Jiang Jun leaves MH. Du Lei exposes all his vileness to her. She’s disappointed in him.
Yuan Shuai helps Du Lei cover-up his 'crimes'. He’s giving Du Lei this chance because Yuan Shuai doesn’t want him to taint MH. Du Lei is good again because of this? I guess.
Yuan Shuai tells Jiang Jun if there’s anything she wants to do she should do it. He knows he gave her a lot of pressure to quit. No matter how much they love each other, they shouldn’t change for each other if it doesn’t make them happy. Jiang Jun admits the moment she left MH, she missed it already. She wants to work again. Yuan Shuai probably saw that coming.
Second Couple: Li Xiao Chuan surprises Xu Li with a celebration for their anniversary by singing. Did Wang Yi Lun (Riley Wang) actually sang this? He’s singing because he was jealous of Jia Yuan Ji (who sings).
[Ep36] Du Lei finds Linda’s flower shop. She believes when flowers bloom it brings hope to others. Uh. So Du Lei gets hope to bloom anew again? Just like Linda.
Xu Li is pregnant. Yuan Shuai laughs at Li Xiao Chuan’s poor naming ability. He seems to have forgotten he thought of naming his future child Yuan Smart.

It's finally time for Yuan Shuai to propose. He invites Jiang Jun to the company. There's a video playing. It's of Yuan Shuai's four proposals. The first proposal happened after dinner where he slipped the ring right on top of the cake but Jiang Jun freaked out, do you want me to get fat?? The second proposal was when she was sleeping. He tried to slip the finger on her finger but she kept shifting in her sleep. The third proposal, he balanced the ring in the middle of a dictionary (to create a heart shadow) and highlighted the word "Marry". Jiang Jun seemed to be allergic all of a sudden and sneezes. The fourth proposal is now. Yuan Shuai sends Wang Cai (with the ring) out to her. Following Wang Cai is Yuan Shuai with a big rose bouquet. He proposes to her. Fourth time's the charm.
Yuan Shuai gives Jiang Jun two documents to sign. The first one is a life contract. Once she signs it her entire life will be his. She smiles and signs it. Am I the only one that finds this contract a little scary? The second contract will give her power if whenever she wants to quit working, he'll quit his job with her and the two of them can start their own business. He continues, "so that you can earn money and support me." Jiang Jun smirks, "So you want me to work for you. You wish. Your entire life and body is mine.” Yuan Shuai smiles and nods.
Yuan Shuai even has their ID to get married (her mother willingly gave it to him). A surprised Jiang Jun isn't shy at all. She quickly takes his hand to run to the marriage centre. Yuan Shuai pulls her back. He's got sneakers for her. Xu Li also has a veil for her. Now they're ready. Off they go to get married.
Qiao Na gives Jia Yuan Ji the right to drive her to and off work.
Du Lei meets a Si Ling. It's a play on Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai's name. Both their names are general, warrior-like. Si Ling rounds up the party. So she's his partner to replace Jiang Jun? And then Linda has her flower shop.
Last but not least, Jiang Jun is pregnant. They can't decide on a name and so they look at the camera and ask us. Zeus and Juno’s baby should be Ares/Mars – God of War. I'm not very creative, you see.

[First Impression (Ep1-8)] Popular actors; mediocre story. The main characters are reunited after a misunderstanding from high school. He always loved her but she thought he was bullying her. He has a mission to protect her from crying. Sounds romantic? It’s not. Every time she cries, she develops a severe allergy to her own tears. It must suck when she has a really bad cold. The secondary romance is at most cute but I think it’s rather forced. All the other characters are formulated to generate hate from the audience. The main leads' characterization is worth complimenting. The ML and FL are equally smart and will headbutt each other given any chance. The drama is also designed to make Luo Yun Xi hot.
[Actors/Actresses] I'm not a fan of any of the actors in this. What I mean by that is I'm neutral about them.

[Review] If you love hot kiss scenes between two top actors and laugh out loud comedy, go. Watch it. You don’t even need to read this review.
Love is Sweet is a mindless romantic comedy. Luo Yun Xi and Bai Lu make a cute fool out of themselves in this. These two are certainly in their comfort zone. It doesn’t even look like they’re acting. They’re playing around on screen. If you have any inkling of love for these two, you’ll love them even more here because all their charms are fully unleashed. This drama is a treat for fans.
Okay. What if you’re just a casual fan? Like me. Ahem. Well. This story is so generic, it’s dull. Coming out of this drama, I don’t quite remember the story or even care to. The only merit the story has is that it’s watchable. There’s nothing too annoying for too long. There’s no drag. But there is something unforgiving about this drama. It took a strong set of supporting actors and rendered them worthless. These are probably the most boring, undeveloped characters ever given to Wang Yi Lun (Riley Wang), Xiao Yan (Shane Xiao), and Gao Han Yu (Kido Gao). They each have main lead potential. It’s pure injustice for them. I guess that's the perils of hiring popular actors for a romcom; there just aren’t enough resources to go elsewhere. It all went to Luo Yun Xi and Bai Lu. Was it worth it? I’d say yes for the most part. Because even as a casual fan, I could not resist Luo Yun Xi and Bai Lu’s undeniable charms. It is only because of these two I finished a drama I otherwise would have dropped if any other actors took on these roles. And it is only because of these two I'm rating this higher than it really deserves.

Overall, this is a light watch where I enjoyed seeing a perfect Luo Yun Xi, a perfect Bai Lu, and a perfect Luo Yun Xi and Bai Lu together. Their make out scenes were serious stuff. He’s got some very scary fangirls and for Bai Lu to kiss him the way she did takes bravery, at least from my perspective.
[Verdict] A mindless romcom. Stayed for Luo Yun Xi and Bai Lu.
