• As of 2026, he operates under his own independent studio
• His goal was actually to become a professional dancer. He trained in ballroom dance, specializing in Latin dance. 
• In 2010, he was an idol. He spent four years as a trainee under Taihe Rye Music (太合麥田) and debut as the youngest in MIC. That's why "JC-T" and "MIC" still appear in his Weibo handle today. Xiao Shun Yao was the star of the group actually. 
• In 2020, he had a second debut. It was in a male celebrity competition show Shine! Super Brothers (追光吧！哥哥), where he finished 1st. 2nd-7th are all familiar faces: Hu Xia, Fu Xin Bo, Fu Long Fei, Yu Meng Long (RIP), Liu Wei (Julius Liu), and Julian Chen (The Little Tigers). Other contestants included Gao Han Yu, Jiro Wang (Fahrenheit), Xiao Shun Yao (MIC), Li Wen Han, Du Chun, Yin Xiao Tian (the best actor in A Splendid Match…), Li Ze Feng, Wu Jia Cheng, Ding Ze Ren. Guys who were eliminated included Ming Dao, and Allen Su.
• Success took more than a decade. He debuted in 2010, gained wider recognition in 2020, scored his first major hit with Under the Skin in 2022, and fully cemented his popularity with Xiang Liu, the nine-headed snake demon from Lost You Forever.  
• When he takes off his shoes, it's like coming down a flight of stairs. The good news is that he's fully aware of it and jokes about it himself.
• Winner Is King is coming. Trust. It is when the company decides holding it back is no longer more profitable than releasing (overseas maybe). It's a waiting game. So stay healthy!
