Punishment is S2 of the successful Chasing the Undercurrent, but the character names are different. Perhaps it's set in the same world? Cast has changed significantly as well. There's Wang Zi Qi taking a second third shot with HJY from The First Shot.

Directed by Tian Yi, seasoned in the area of cops, soldiers, and firefighters – essentially everything Huang Jing Yu. Tian Yi's notable projects include Chasing the Undercurrent 1, Ace Troops, Dear Guardian, and Bright Eyes in the Dark. Essentially, Huang Jing Yu. Ah, but he did have this year's Unnatural Fire – no Huang Jing Yu.
