[Actors/Actresses] Lu Yu Xiao was lovely in See You Tomorrow. So I was pretty excited to see this trailer. But the surprise is really how attractive newcomer Wu Jun Ting (our ML) is as a whole package, and his voice is so deep. So much cute/pretty in this series! He's very grumpy right now (not that I can blame him, ha!)... and cannot wait until he's sweet.

This series is easy on the eyes and good for the heart. If you can make it past the first few eps of Lin Xi (our FL) following around Ji Jun Xing (our ML) like a shadow at first, then you’ll be able to enjoy the rest of it. I mean the girl does hug him the first time she lays eyes on him – but the reason behind this is explained later. While it doesn’t make sense to a reasonable grown-up, try to remember that she’s a high-schooler. 


Is this cute, fluffy and kind of funny? Why yes, it is! I like bubbly Lin Xi, and I’m also biased as I like the actress portraying her, Lu Yu Xiao. She’s so pretty with cute expressions – similar to one’s preference for a cute pet. (I suppose a bunny is appropriate here but she’s more like a fox… You’d have to watch the series to get this reference.) Ah, newcomer Wu Jun Ting as Ji Jun Xing is the other reason why I stayed glued to the screen for this one. He’s kind of cute, even when he’s cold and prickly on the outside. As the series progresses along, you can see that hardshell of his crack around Lin Xi as he quickly falls for her. He’s actually warm with a boyish charm, and for those of you who are into it – he’s very tall with a deep voice. 

What I enjoy about our youthful leads is that they’re both smart but in different ways. This is a story where you already know the outcome because the first ep starts with their wedding, and then we go back in time to where it all began – at school and a bit of cohabitation. I enjoy how they help each other, and along with their friends, they get through the final years of high school and college together.

I did not care for the second couple because of their on-and-off-again relationship. It’s frustrating as you definitely want to root for the guy more than the girl. Speaking of rooting for, I actually liked 2ML, Qin Kai, and my heart kind of broke for him but they dragged out that part of the love triangle long enough. Re the ending: As cute as the final scenes are, I wish they would’ve left it alone. 

Bonus: Discovering Fu Bo Han as Ji Jun Xing’s kid brother, Ji Lu Chi. The cutest kid ever. And I  mean cute and smart! 

Overall, a fun watch. If you’re in the mood for fluff, then this is it. You’ll laugh, shake your head, smile, and maybe cry at all the sweetness and their pure hearts.
