[Actors/Actresses] My first time seeing Zhang Xue Ying, who I find to be very pretty and engaging. And yes, I'm totally rooting for her character already.

I think I prefer Bi Wen Jun in modern dramas as I am still not used to seeing him in costume, ha. He looks quite good with light-colored hair. Although, I'm not sure why he has the classic early '00s hair style.

I'm happy to see Guo Xiao Tian as Gu Qiao Bei / Tai Bai San Jian as he was cute Luo Fan from My Sassy Princess. I like his expressions in this, too! Of course, it's the opposite with him, as I prefer him in costumes (and the long-haired wig) because I’m used to seeing him in them.

[Behind the Scenes] If you think about it - this series is double the work for the cast and crew. Set up for two different worlds, characters, environment, etc.

 I have mixed feelings about this series. It started off well. And honestly, I think Zhang Xue Ying carries the show. And her smiles are just the best. 

Cute main couple. ✅

Funny side characters. ✅

Stupid villains not winning. ✅

Real world + Game world. ✅

Solid plot. ➖ (See below.)

The drags: Poor editing. We get to experience our main CP’s confessions - Wan Wan’s 2nd confession in real time, while their 1st confessions are in a flashback only? Extra characters that are not explained at all, or totally superfluous. The forced friendship between cutie Qiao Bei and Wan Wan’s brother. (Perhaps it’s also because they couldn’t have BL?) So the villains in this series are all females, and it’s way too obvious who they are. Plot? The lack of plot along with the poor editing doesn’t help. Oh, and Wan Wan, you didn’t get to the top “all on your own”! 

If you’re bored and need a quick fix of romcom, this is it. And if you choose to stop at Ep16, I won’t judge.
