[Ep1] Having been overseas for some time, a robot-like Kang Tae Moo (“Tae Moo”) has returned to the family business, Go Food, to run the company as President. His grandfather, Chairman Kang (“Grandpa”), the founder of the company, wants him to date get married. Grandpa has set him up on several blind dates but he refuses to go as he’s too busy with work. Eventually, Grandpa forces Tae Moo to reluctantly agree to the blind dates, as he just wants to get this nuisance over with and get back to more important matters - work.

Bubbly and enthusiastic Shin Ha Ri works at Go Food as a food researcher on Food Product Development Team One (“Team 1”). She harbors a crush on her longtime friend, Chef Lee Min Woo ("Min Woo") who seems oblivious to her romantic feelings.

Jin Young Seo, who is from a chaebol family, begs Ha Ri to go on the blind date instead as Ha Ri is quite effective in scaring off her blind dates. Young Seo wants to marry for love instead of an arranged marriage. Ha Ri refuses until she offers to pay her for her services. So Young Seo takes Ha Ri shopping, and gets her a makeover from conservatively sweet to chaebol princess. Now in a designer white suit, with a long-haired wig and glamorous makeup, Ha Ri is now ready for her blind date as Jin Young Seo of Marine Group (her employer/Jin Dad’s company).

Tae Moo’s secretary/jack-of-all-trades, Cha Sung Hoon (“Sung Hoon”) has helped whittle down the large pool of dates to top ten candidates to help him find a suitable partner. However he will need to travel as No. 11 is in Japan and No. 17 is in Switzerland. Sung Hoon then suggests that he just get married so he doesn’t have to rework his schedule for him. Surprisingly, Tae Moo agrees to this plan of attack.

When her date arrives, Ha Ri is floored by his good looks and forces herself to stop ogling. When they exchange business cards, she soon realizes he’s Kang Tae Moo, as in President Kang of Go Food. She's a bit panicked now. She excuses herself to go to the bathroom, and tries to reach Young Seo but there’s no answer.

Nonetheless, she returns to their table and proceeds to do everything she can to turn him off. First, she flirts with him in a very overt manner. He’s immune to this. Then she claims it’s so hot and removes her jacket to show off her sleeveless arms. He only points out that she appears cold as her arms have goosebumps. Ha! Her next trick: speak in a baby voice because men hate it, as she bumps her leg against the table leg and whines, and then she baby-talks to her purse. However, he's not really paying attention as he’s looking at a work text on his phone. She then tells him about her breasts named Samantha (left) and Rachel (right). She does a jiggle as she mentions that she’s spent a whopping 10M won on these babies. XD!! He chokes on his sip of tea, however, he takes this in stride and tells her that he appreciates her for being so open and honest. lol She didn't expect that but then she goes for the kill - by suggesting that they get a room. He then notices her shaking foot, so he calls her bluff and actually gets them a room.

On the inside, she is panicking but she still follows him to the elevators. Within moments, she changes her mind and turns around and bumps into a woman. The woman suddenly grabs her by the hair and accuses her of being the other woman that her boyfriend’s been seeing. She denies this but Tae Moo intervenes, suggesting that she take it up with her boyfriend as it takes two to cheat. Ha Ri leaves with him, but is worried at the thought of being some homewrecker. She then realizes that this could be worked to her advantage, as an end to their date. So she ups the ante, and struts right by him and says that she’s juggled 3 or 4 men at a time as she just loves men. But then the angry woman chases her down and Ha Ri is forced to run away from her, and almost gets hit by the car driven by Sung Hoon. She just continues running in her heels and safely hops into a cab.

Tae Moo is seriously intrigued by her. So when Grandpa calls him about the date, he tells him that he's going to marry Jin Young Seo, the woman he just met tonight!

Ha Ri updates Young Seo about the date being a successful failure. To celebrate, they go to a noraebang. While Ha Ri is singing her heart out, Young Seo receives a call from her father informing her that President Kang wants to marry her. She demands to know what Ha Ri did to cause this. Meanwhile, Sung Hoon is asking Tae Moo why he wants to marry this woman, especially given her track record. He’s also trying to convince him to marry for love. Tae Moo doesn’t want to deal with emotions, and only admits that he likes her, as she’s open and honest.

The next day, of course, Ha Ri runs into Tae Moo and Grandpa at work. She hesitates on riding the elevator up with them. She finally walks backwards into the elevator and hides her face behind her hair. On her way out, she drops her badge in the elevator, and Tae Moo sees her photo (she’s wearing glasses in the photo) and remembers her name from a proposal idea, Bucket List Fish. He calls her name and she’s forced to walk backwards to take the badge.

While at a convenience store, Sung Hoon witnesses Young Seo having a sweet interaction with a little kid who accidentally draws on her white dress with an open marker. The mother goes to scold her crying son, but Young Seo kindly consoles the kid and shows him a magic trick. She takes the marker from him and changes the black mark on her dress into a flower. She asks him to guess what it is. He says poop. lol She tells him it’s a flower. She then gently tells him to not run around with an open marker again. The mother offers to pay for her dry cleaning, and she gently declines the offer and says that she’s the one who put even more marks on her own dress. She leaves with her drink but forgets her keys and wallet at the counter. Once outside, she realizes that she forgot her keys and wallet and bumps into Sung Hoon on her way back to the store. It looks like love-at-first-sight for her as she finds him to be absolutely gorgeous.

Ha Ri has to meet Tae Moo again as Young Seo has an important meeting to attend. In person, Ha Ri asks him to forget this marriage talk as she has no interest and then leaves. He follows her to stop her, and asks her to give him a chance, as once she gets to know him, she'll learn that he has a lot of strengths. Then he leans in and tells her "And I'm quite good... at many things." She is so startled by this that she steps backwards and almost falls off the stairs. He pulls her back to stable ground and asks her what she was thinking about. He just meant that he was good to women. And she won’t want to see any other men when she’s with him. She tells him that she doesn't want to marry him or date him, so she hopes to never see him again.

She leaves but then she spots Min Woo walking on the other side of the street. So she runs to hide from him by jumping into a random car, but to her horror, she's in Tae Moo's car!

[Ep2] Tae Moo looks at her in shock and asks what she’s doing, and she replies that she needs to tell him something and grabs onto his jacket to hide her face. After she sees Min Woo walk past the car, she lets go of him. She then says that she came back to tell him to never contact her again. He says that he's still going to marry her. He asks why she doesn't want to marry him. She gestures at his face and body and says everything, his cheesy, weird lines and that his face is like an archaeopteryx. ?!? Sung Hoon barely suppresses his laughter. She just gets out of the car and Tae Moo wonders what an archaeopteryx looks like.

Later, Sung Hoon shows him this bird-like dinosaur and Kang Tae Moo asks how it looks like him. He replies that it’s the overall vibe, especially the nose. LMAO! Tae Moo doesn’t see it and Sung Hoon walks away muttering that the resemblance is uncanny.

Over drinks, Ha Ri tells Young Seo to go see Tae Moo and clear up this situation already. Young Seo then tells her about meeting that guy at the convenience store across the way from them. She's hoping to run into him again. They proceed to get trashed and arrive at Shin home by police escort. Young Seo is describing her mystery man while demonstrating his physique on the police officer. Ha Ri goes to grab Young Seo by the face and says that her mouth has been ripped open and they proceed to have a meltdown about fire, blood and needle. XD They become a blubbering and vomiting mess. Shin Mom angrily sends them both to bed. In the morning, they realize that they’ve got to cut back on alcohol and beg Mom for her forgiveness. Ha!

Grandpa is already planning the wedding as he wants great grandkids soon. Young Seo texts Tae Moo to meet again and he thinks it's because she realizes that he's too good of a guy to reject just to rebel against her father by refusing him. Ha Ri finds out that her co-worker, Hye Ji is having a fling with Min Woo. After spying on their date, she ends up nearly running into Tae Moo again in elevators. So she quickly scurries to get out his sight, but manages to run into a stranger and almost slips and sends her slipper flying which hits Tae Moo in the face and results in a nosebleed. It's quite impressive given the distance but I'm not sure how much force the slipper would have had at that range given its weight. lol Forget science/logic. XD He looks around and spots the culprit in a white lab coat, and Ha Ri realizes that she's in big trouble, so she makes a run for it. Tae Moo grabs the offending slipper and gives chase, bleeding nose and all.

He continues chasing her throughout the building, running through the various staircases and elevators until he finally catches up to her. She's then forced to answer why she threw the slipper at him. He sees her badge and calls her by name to get her to answer clearly. She still refuses to look at him and says that her foot slipped and it was an accident. Then he asks why she ran from him. She says that she was surprised by his bleeding nose, and then she looks down at her feet, and a stream of sweat drips down her face which he mistakes for tears, so he gives her the other slipper to put back on. Then he asks her if the Bucket List Fish and vegetarian dumplings campaign were her ideas. She says yes to both and realizes that the latter hadn't been approved so how does he know about it. He tells her that he thought it was a great idea, and she gets excited talking about it, and how popular it would be with the current vegetarian and vegan diet trend. Hye Ji returns and says that she's no longer in a fling with Min Woo as he’s rejected her. Ha Ri leaves but her supervisor, Yeo Eui Ju (“Ms. Yeo”) knows that she's interested in Min Woo.

Young Seo ends up in a very minor accident with Sung Hoon in the parking lot and hands him her business card. He recognizes the name and says it out loud but then Tae Moo gets out and says that there's a problem as she's impersonating someone else. He asks her about the woman he's been on a blind date with. She says that she's some actress she hired, so she's a complete stranger to her. He notices that the bag she's carrying looks exactly like the one fake-Jin Young Seo was carrying. She says that her bag is Laurent and that woman's bag was Coconel. He repeats the brand names and says he thought she was a stranger, so how does she know what her bag was? He threatens to tell the elders what she's done, unless she produces that woman he almost married before him. Young Seo is embarrassed that she’s met her dream guy (Sung Hoon) again this way.

Tae Moo cleans Sung Hoon's place and then cooks a meal as a way of de-stressing. lol I'm there with the cooking, dude. Sung Hoon asks about the marriage being off. Tae Moo says not necessarily as she wasted his time and made him say all those things. Sung Hoon says that it seems that the last thing Young Seo wanted was to be in an arranged marriage, too. Tae Moo says that he's referring to the fake one. He's mad about her insults, especially about resembling an archaeopteryx. XD He wants revenge. Uh oh.

Young Seo treats Ha Ri extra nicely by taking her shopping and gets her another makeover. Later, at a restaurant, Young Seo springs it on her that Tae Moo was coming to meet her soon. She then leaves and just tells her to put on the wig. She tries to leave but he walks in and she ends up dropping her bag and the coupons for her parents' fried chicken shop fall out along with everything else. He picks one up and asks her if that's where she works, and she says it's her family's. He asks how much she was paid to impersonate Young Seo. She says 800,000 won. He says she tried to scam him for merely 800,000 won? She explains that really needed the money at the time to cover her debts. (A fight with a neighbor over garbage resulted in said neighbor's injury, ergo medical bills.) He's surprised she has a job, besides scamming people. She says that she works for a small company. She apologizes to him and then promises to help him out if he ever needs a favor. He asks her in what way does he resemble an archaeopteryx. She asks if that's why he's angry. He says he's not angry. He's just never heard such nonsense before, so he was caught off-guard. She admits that she just said whatever popped into her head to stop him from asking her to marry him. With a huge smile, she admits that the resemblance is there - his small face, sharp eyes and lanky limbs. LMAO! He calls her phone (he shows up as “Do not answer”), and he asks her to save his name again, and to pick up whenever he calls from now on. If she fails to answer or tries to disappear, he will find her at the fried chicken shop. Then he asks for her name and she almost gives him her real name, instead she gives the name Shin Geum Hui (as she doesn’t want to get fired from her day job) which he saves in his phone. He later tells Grandpa that he's decided to not marry Jin Young Seo, and to not bring her up anymore.

Late at night, Tae Moo gets triggered while flipping TV channels when it lands on an archaeopteryx documentary, and calls her immediately to make sure that she didn't change her number and then hangs up on her. She looks at the time - it's 4 a.m. and now she's wide awake and angry.

Tae Moo finds out that his work schedule has been changed as Grandpa has ordered Sung Hoon to schedule more dates for him. He goes on ten dates in one day, and every woman tells him that they’re interested in him as he's so good-looking and makes her heart flutter. But he's bored by these dates. Sung Hoon says he has more dates to go on - and they’re flying to Japan next. After this 11th date, Sung Hoon asks if anyone caught his eye today. He says no. Sung Hoon says they all seemed a lot better than the fake Jin Young Seo who he decided to marry at first glance. Tae Moo replies at least the fake Jin Young Seo wasn't boring. He can't believe that all the dates told him the same thing.

Grandpa is waiting for him in his office and asks how his dates were. He says no so Grandpa hands him a book full of blind date candidates. He then says that there's a woman he wants to marry. He tells him that he still wants to marry Young Seo. What?! Why that name!? He then calls Ha Ri, who has him saved as “Archaeopteryx”. He tells her that they need to meet after work but she says that she'll be working overtime. He asks about where she works and she claims it's far from Seoul. He asks if it's farther than Japan as he was just there today. She tells him to meet her at Rainbow Cafe in Ilsan as she’s a regular there. When he’s there, he calls to tell her that this place is peculiar. It turns out to be a coffee shop with an enormous children's play area. Haha!

In person, he says he wants them to start dating with marriage in mind. She's shocked and asks if he's in love with her. He tells her that he meant for them to pretend that they are dating. She doesn't want to do it as she doesn't want to lie to people again. He then offers to pay her 16,000 won for every time she meets his grandfather, which will be several times. She thinks about how she's spent more time in debt than she's spent being happy. He asks if she's made up her mind. She says she can't do it. He says this is one thing that she can help him with, that's within her power. She spends the rest of her night thinking about his offer.

She later receives a call from Tae Moo asking her where she is. She says that she's at home at this hour. He tells her to come down then as he's outside her home. (Shin family lives above the restaurant.) She looks out the window and starts freaking out. She puts on makeup, throws on the wig and puts a jacket over her pajamas to meet him in his car. He hands her a contract and tells her to memorize his profile before she meets his grandfather. She says that she'd think about it, not that she would do it. He says it's a contract relationship. She tells him to find another woman and gets out of his car. He follows her and asks if she's really going to back out like this. She admits that it's because she really has a reason she can't do it. She thinks about how she is supposed to fool both the Chairman and the President of Go Food. He asks to hear her reason but then she sees her brother, Shin Ha Min ("Ha Min"), walking across the street. She pulls on Tae Moo to hide behind him but then she shoves him away before saying that they can talk about this tomorrow. When she realizes that he's about to fall backwards, she reaches out to grab onto his arm. But he continues falling and then she lands right on top of him and their lips meet. But of course.

[Ep3] Ha Ri lifts her head and apologizes to Tae Moo, and then looks around for her brother. When she spots Ha Min, she quickly turns around and ducks her head, and promptly knocks out Tae Moo with her head. lol! She then hears her father on the motorbike, so she kicks the gate closed as her brother and father both go inside. She then realizes that Tae Moo is unconscious. Oops…

The next day, Ha Ri is reading over the contract and notices that in the breach of contract, the penalty is 100 times more for Party B. Tae Moo complains about his dizziness which made him lose an important contract. He suggests she sign the contract so he won't sue for damages. She reluctantly signs the contract and then they have a presentation on him. Our contractual relationship is born! Their backstory is that they fell in love while studying abroad in New York as that's where he's been for the past two years. Her backstory is that her father is a lawyer, her mother is a doctor and her brother is a medical student. She needs to remember all this before meeting his grandfather next Sunday. He went to Harvard and was a top athlete as well. His parents passed away in an accident when he was young.

Late at night, Tae Moo has her check in with him to make sure that she's memorized everything. She then asks him if he remembers what she wore on the first day they met. He says that he has no idea. Ha Ri's meet cute story: They had bumped into each other on a rainy day. (she had looked up the weather for that day in New York). She was wearing a yellow rain jacket and he was carrying an umbrella. (~9:02, I like how they set up this scene in black and white, except for her yellow rain jacket, and once they meet, the world comes into color, starting from his umbrella turning from grey to yellow like her rain jacket.) They started their conversation in English but then she muttered out loud in Korean about having to pay for his dry cleaning as his clothes looked expensive. He had asked her in Korean if she's Korean. Screech. Nope. Tae Moo shoots down this story. He then rubs his head like it hurts and says that he doesn't like rainy days. He suggests that they change the date.

On the drive back home, she falls asleep and starts listing out of her seat towards Tae Moo. He stops her with his hand, but when she wakes up and looks at him, he pushes her so hard that she slams her face into the window. Oof. He doesn’t say anything and pretends to not notice her. After they drop her off, he notices there’s an imprint of her face on the window. He starts smiling, which makes Sung Hoon ask what he's smiling about, and he quickly says it’s nothing. But he’s still smiling...

Jin Dad insists on setting up more blind dates for Young Seo. She doesn't want an arranged marriage as she doesn't want to be miserable as he was, and she won't marry unless it's for love. He tells her if she doesn't want to behave then she can move out. So she grabs her stuff to leave and her father demands the return of his credit card first. She wants to be independent, so she needs to live on the money she earns. She reluctantly hands it over to him and then she leaves.

The research department makes plans to recommend Min Woo as the new chef for their “A Collaboration with the Chef” project. Ha Ri shows up at his restaurant to take photos of the food, as Young Seo quickly stuffs her face with each item as it's done being photographed. lol Ha Ri asks Min Woo about the white kimchi ravioli, which he didn’t make. She tells him that it'll be a great item for Go Food. Once he leaves to make it, Young Seo starts teasing her about her crush on him. Ha Ri retorts so she doesn't want to stay over at her place tonight? Haha. Young Seo is learning how much things cost - such as a security deposit for a place. As Young Seo sleeps, Ha Ri stays up all night to working on Min Woo’s profile and proposal and then falls asleep at her desk. The next morning, when her mother wakes her up, she realizes that it’s still incomplete and so she continues working.

At work, Ms. Yeo is surprised that Ha Ri completed the profile and proposal in one day. She says that it didn’t take her long as she used the last one as a template. Lies. To cater to the Korean palate, she's suggesting his white kimchi ravioli as the main item for the company. Min Woo's social media shows that he's very popular with the ladies, which will work to their advantage as their target market is customers in their 20s and 30s. Ms. Yeo is a bit concerned about the white kimchi filling, so Ha Ri says that they can always change the filling. Since she's so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, Ms. Yeo suggests that she give the presentation. Now she's freaking out because it'll be in front of Tae Moo. So she pretends to have stage fright and resists going but Ms. Yeo drags her to the meeting. She ends up wearing a face mask and even borrows her boss' glasses. Tae Moo asks how she's going to present with the face mask, so she starts coughing and sneezing. He tells her to keep it on and to carry on.

Meanwhile, Young Seo looks at an apartment and decides to take the place. They miss each other, but it’s the same building that Sung Hoon lives in.

Ha Ri goes to see Min Woo about the assignment but she finds him kissing a woman, who turns out to be his former girlfriend, Go Yoo Ra (“Yoo Ra”). So it looks like they're back together. She's quite hurt and just leaves. Outside she receives Min Woo's text saying he wanted to tell her but… She realizes that she's been wasting her time thinking he'd look at her differently some day, like the way he looks at Yoo Ra. She's in a daze and just sits down at the bus stop and barely notices when her bus arrives. When she gets up and slowly walks towards the bus, some guy runs up beside her and knocks her down and sends her documents onto the ground, as he continues running onto the bus. Who knocks down someone that hard and doesn’t offer to help them up? She goes to pick up the papers and notices that her phone is ringing and goes to answer it but knocks it down the sewer grate. On the other end, Tae Moo says her name several times but she can’t hear him. A girl stops to help her with the documents and says that it must've hurt, be careful and then leaves.

SHR to herself: It does hurt. I thought it wouldn't. She starts crying. But it hurts! She‘s sobbing now. It hurts so much.

Tae Moo listens to her heartbreaking sobs and wonders what happened. She continues sobbing on the street.

The next day she hopes that no one can tell that she's been crying. But her face is a bit puffy. She looks for makeup and finds her birthday present from Min Woo, a pair of concert tickets, but it's for today. As she's waiting for Tae Moo, she looks at her phone (how'd she get her phone back?!) and notices a call with Archaeopteryx in her call history. But she doesn't recall talking to him. She wonders if last night - and then Tae Moo's car pulls up beside her. She's surprised that he drove himself today. He tells her it's a personal affair. She asks if he called her yesterday as she just saw that she had a call from him last night. He says he'd called about today but hung up because he couldn't hear anything. He asks her why. She says, oh nothing. Then she changes the subject by commenting on how nice the weather is today.

She recalls Sung Hoon's words about Chairman Kang being quite scary and strict. She wonders what if Grandpa realizes that they're lying to him - and grabs Tae Moo’s arm - and he glances at her hand. Then he looks at her and says "If you're scared, then while we're inside, try to love me for real." She's like what? And then they go inside. Ha Ri is introduced as Shin Geum Hui to Grandpa, and eventually he asks if she loves Tae Moo. She says of course she's dating him because she loves him. Grandpa then asks why did they break up before? Tae Moo starts coughing. This was a lie he had told Grandpa but she didn’t know about it beforehand! *facepalm* Tae Moo tells Grandpa that he can't just ask something like that so directly. Grandfather says this is something that needs to be asked. She replies that she thought he cared about work more than he did about her. Grandpa admits that his grandson is someone who knows nothing besides work, and that won't change in the future. He asks if she's okay with it because they'll keep fighting about it. She reassures him that they've talked about this and she decided she would understand that Tae Moo prioritizes work over everything else. Tae Moo looks a bit impressed by her. She then says that he was so crazy about work so she finally ignored his calls after telling him "let's break up." But then he canceled an important meeting he had scheduled and ran over to see her. Then she mentions how much he hates the rain, and it was raining that day yet he still came. Tae Moo looks stunned by this but recovers to say that they should eat first and talk about this later.

Young Seo is moving into her new place, which is next door to Sung Hoon’s but they miss each other again. Later, she settles into her new place and admits to herself that she is broke from buying this new couch. She goes to eat her food on the floor, and hears the newspaper crinkling and then sees a cartoon cockroach and flips out. Eventually a screaming Young Seo runs out the door and jumps into the arms the first person she sees - it's Sung Hoon! Third time's a charm! He asks what's going on and she says there's a cockroach in her place. When she finally turns to look and realizes it's him - she quickly jumps off of him. He asks why she's here. She says it's a long story and then asks for a favor.

Inside her living room, the roach is under a paper cup. Sung Hoon looks just as scared as she is, as he proceeds to use two cans of bug spray around this little paper cup. She asks if he's afraid of them. He says no…they just gross him out! XD The paper cup suddenly moves and they both back away from it. XD Once it stops moving, he finally lifts up the cup a smidge, and sprays under it. And then he flushes it down the toilet. When he leaves, she says since they're neighbors, she suggests that they become friends and get to know each other and offers her hand. He says it won't work because she put Tae Moo in a difficult position by sending someone else for her blind date. So he doesn't think it would be right for him to get to know her personally. She can't believe that she just got rejected even as a neighbor. *scratches head* I'm confused, too.

After lunch, Tae Moo asks why Ha Ri brought up "running in the rain". She said that she knew he didn't like the rain so she added some truth to make the story more realistic. She thinks it's a romantic story. He says that their relationship is simply a contractual exchange of money, so don't act like they're anything actually real. But he said the opposite before they went in! Grandpa wants to spend more time with Ha Ri so he asks if she's interested in steamed buns for dessert. She agrees but Tae Moo looks upset. They end up somewhere remote for buns. Tae Moo tells her that she brought this upon herself so don’t complain.

When they eat the buns, Grandpa and Ha Ri bond over how good the buns are. She concurs that they're worth the trip. Foodies unite! Meanwhile, Tae Moo is taking a call outside. Grandpa then apologizes for being so stiff with her earlier as he was judging her on the way she was dressed. Then he thanks her for everything, and says that it looks like Tae Moo cares about her and to please take care of him. She then takes a sip of her drink and chokes on it and knocks down her purse. Grandpa helps her pick up the items but he notices the concert tickets and takes a closer look at them. Tae Moo returns and says that he needs to go back to Seoul for work. Grandpa starts scolding him for being this way as Ha Ri can't even ask him about things like these concert tickets. Grandpa notices that it's for today so she must've wanted to go with him. Now Grandpa wants to leave so they can make it to their concert.

Tae Moo and Ha Ri arrive at the concert courtesy of Grandpa who makes sure they’re dropped off at the entrance. He knows his grandson would pretend to go and would actually just go back to work. So Grandpa insists on waiting in the car to watch them go inside. The concert starts and eventually Tae Moo seems to relax. MeloMance introduces themselves and then announces that they’re doing a special event - they'll take song requests along with their stories. They draw a plastic ball out of a box and read the note "I've been a fan of yours for a long time. I bought tickets for today's show and gave them to a friend for her birthday. We've been good friends for seven whole years. She even bought me drinks and comforted me when I broke up with my girlfriend and when I had to go to the army." Ha Ri starts losing her smile. "But she doesn't have a boyfriend yet. I'm hoping that she'll go to the concert with her boyfriend. I ask that you gift her with your amazing song." Then he calls out Row B, seats 42 and 43. It's definitely Ha Ri and Tae Moo's seats, and the spotlight is on them. The singer congratulates them and then says that he’ll sing Love, Maybe (사랑인가 봐) as requested. (Yes, it's on the OST.) Ha Ri looks quite embarrassed by this but Tae Moo seems okay. This song makes Ha Ri recall a previous conversation with Min Woo about how she had liked this song. Min Woo had also asked her to sing it some time as she's good at singing. She starts crying and Tae Moo wordlessly offers her a handkerchief.

Afterwards, she still has tears in her eyes but she keeps on walking. Tae Moo follows her at a safe distance. When she almost walks into a couple, Tae Moo catches up to her and pulls her out of the way. He asks if she normally cries this easily as she bawled yesterday, too. She says but he didn't hear - he says that it seemed like she didn't want him to know so... and then he walks away. She thanks him for everything, for pretending to not notice that she cried yesterday and for going with her for the concert as she would have gone alone. He then says that he almost looked like a really pitiful person as she cried like that during the concert. He says the women next to her were talking about it pretty loudly as he was just her friend's replacement. She apologizes. He says she doesn't have to, because it's not like he's her real boyfriend. He asks if she really had a crush on him for seven years. He guessed this was true from her friend's message plus her crying. He says she has her closure now. She agrees and tells him that her friend got back together with his ex-girlfriend. She says she doesn't regret it as she was pretty happy. She looks at him and says that someone like him who can't tolerate wasting time can't understand that. He tells her it's not always that way, as there are some things that get results with a short amount of time, and other things where one risks the losses and stays in for the long run. It's difficult to decide how good or bad something is just by how long it takes. She laughs as she thinks it's funny that he's comparing things like his job even in a situation like this. He apologizes as he's never comforted anyone before. She says that was comforting enough. She apologizes for this afternoon as she was feeling down and overdid so it wasn't as obvious. He admits that he was being sensitive as well.

They end up at a food stall but she receives a call and goes to answer it. She ends up getting hit in the face by a flying ball. Afterwards, he gets her a cup of ice from the convenience store. She thanks him and then asks why he doesn't try a real relationship. She tells him he might think it's a waste of time right now but if he thinks long-term, it might be more efficient. Being in a fake relationship with her means there isn't really a future, so maybe this is an even bigger waste of time. She gives him the mystery gift she got from the concert before she leaves in a taxi.

Back at home, she receives a text, "Today was very inefficient, but it was fun. -Archaeopteryx-" Hahaha, he even signed it with that name! She laughs at this. Tae Moo opens the mystery gift - it's two worry dolls with a note saying "Talk to me when you're feeling down. I'll be there for you." He repeats her suggestion of being in a real relationship instead of a fake one. He asks the dolls what they think.

The next morning, Ha Ri screams at the sight of her now puffy, red eye. It suddenly occurs to her that Tae Moo might recognize her at work with this bruised eye. She makes it to work and the two finally come face-to-face in the elevator!

[Ep4] Tae Moo actually doesn't recognize her and only asks what she is doing as she's just standing there. She picks up the eye patch that she dropped and shoves it on her head and keeps her back to him while she walks like a crab to push the elevator button. lol She kills me! Inside the elevator, Tae Moo tells Sung Hoon that they'll attend the tasting event for the new product. Tae Moo tries the white kimchi ravioli and compliments Min Woo for it. Min Woo says that this item was thanks to Ha Ri. Tae Moo says that he's read her proposal and senses her deep trust in him. Her loose-lipped co-worker, Gye Bin then tells Tae Moo that the two have been good friends since college... Ms. Yeo literally blocks him to tell Tae Moo - so that's why they worked together so well. Sung Hoon then comments that he hasn't seen Ha Ri. She's actually been hiding in the bathroom.

Later she's at Min Woo's restaurant and he asks her how the concert was. She says that she had fun and says that she went with a guy. He’s surprised by this and looks almost worried. Oh no, don't do this, Show! He asks who, and she says it's just someone she met by chance. He then tells her to bring him in sometime so he can check him out for her. Uh huh. She tells him to take care of his girlfriend now, instead of his friends. She tells him to pay more attention to Yoo Ra, and she wonders where Young Seo is. Min Woo continues looking worried.

Young Seo is outside the restaurant and realizes that Sung Hoon and Tae Moo are going inside the restaurant. She calls Ha Ri but she’s left her phone on the table. When she comes out of the bathroom and sees Tae Moo coming inside the restaurant, she suddenly drops down onto the floor and crawls to her table and grabs her stuff and tries to crawl her way out. XD Min Woo greets the guys and then tells them that Ha Ri is here but then sees that her table is empty. When he seats them, she finally stands up and bolts out of there. Min Woo calls Ha Ri but is unable to reach her but Tae Moo hears the ringback tone. It’s the MeloMance song from the concert and it reminds him of Ha Ri. Min Woo calls her again, and she answers to tell him that she had to go as a large group came to the chicken shop. She then sees Young Seo waiting in the car for her.

The women tell each other about what happened, and both are on edge now. They're worried about running into either man. Young Seo tells her to not visit her at her apartment for the time being. Ha Ri warns her to not get friendly with Sung Hoon and then blab about Shin Ha Ri being Shin Geum Hui.

At the end of their meal, Tae Moo says he understands why Ha Ri says his food tastes cheerful and happy. Min Woo thanks him and says that Ha Ri is always generous about his food. Tae Moo asks if they're college friends. Min Woo says they met when they were 20 so they've known each other for seven years. He asks if they've been just friends this whole time. Min Woo looks taken aback by this question. Tae Moo apologizes if the question was too personal. He thought that maybe one of them could have developed feelings since they've known each other for such a long time. Min Woo doesn't say anything but he does look away. Tae Moo just takes a sip of his tea. Sung Hoon tells him that he heard that Ha Ri had a crush on Min Woo. Tae Moo says that he guesses there's someone else like Shin Geum Hui, too.

Sung Hoon arrives at Grandpa's house, and it appears that he grew up with Tae Moo as there are plenty of pictures of them together as kids, and even ones with Grandpa. There's also a picture of him as a child with a nun at True Light Orphanage. Tae Moo tells him that Grandpa wants him to move back in and asks if he really won't do it. Sung Hoon says no, never, as he doesn't want to suffer when he's at home, too. Grandpa is happy that the three of them are together for a meal. He just hopes to have a granddaughter-in-law like Shin Geum Hui and then some great grandchildren. Tae Moo asks if he isn't tired of saying this. Grandpa says either get married by the end of the year, or else they're all eating here together twice a week. Both guys choke at this. Tae Moo says his schedule is packed and then signals to Sung Hoon for help. Sung Hoon says his place is far away, as he was so tired when he got up this morning and then he starts yawning. Grandpa then starts on him for not living here. Sung Hoon pulls out his phone to look at the calendar to schedule their next meal. Grandpa grabs the phone to look at it and then he asks Tae Moo if he knows what this Saturday is. He doesn’t and Grandpa chides him for not knowing. Then he shows him the phone, it's his one-year anniversary with Shin Geum Hui.

Grandpa tells him to cancel everything and schedule a date with her that day. Grandpa says he'll make a reservation for him. Sung Hoon apologizes as he had marked it on the calendar in case Grandpa asked. Then he says that his schedule is tight. Tae Moo says they can always move things around. Sung Hoon is surprised that he's okay with changing his schedule. As am I!

Go Food research teams are out in the field to film some promotional videos. The usually loquacious Gye Bin is actually very camera shy, so they have redo the scenes because of him. Ha Ri isn't shown on film because of her bruised eye. Grandpa pays a surprise visit and Ha Ri freaks out and spends the rest of her time out of his sight. Ms. Yeo talks to Grandpa but they're interrupted by a vibrating phone. It's Ha Ri's phone, and Ms. Yeo calls for her to come get her phone. With her hair covering almost her entire face, she tries to grab the phone. But then the phone rings again. She snatches the phone from Grandpa and sees that it's from Archaeopteryx aka Tae Moo, so she just bolts out of there with her phone.

He texts her why she isn't answering as it's an emergency so please call him. She hides out in the bathroom to call him back. He wants to answer it immediately but makes himself wait for a while before answering. She asks him what the emergency is. She then tells him that it's against company policy to be on their phones during work hours. He asks what kind of company does that. She asks him what is this about? He says would it kill her to exchange pleasantries first? "How have you been?" "How's your eye doing?" And so on. XD This is so unlike him! She apologizes and says that she has a lot going on at the moment. He asks if she knows what this Saturday is. She says isn't it their fake one-year anniversary? He smiles and admits that she's better than him as he'd forgotten about it. He tells her Grandfather found out about it so it's a bit complicated now. He then asks if she'd like to meet for dinner today. Omo. She says that she's on a business trip right now. He tells her that that song she has as her ringback tone is popular as he's been hearing it play all over the place. He then tells her that he'll call her tomorrow. He hangs up and wonders what company bans people from picking up their phones at work and also sends an employee with an injured eye on a business trip.

Gye Bin knocks on the bathroom door as Grandpa really, really needs to go. When Ha Ri opens the door and sees that it's Grandpa, she runs back inside and closes the door. Poor Grandpa asks if she could hurry up. She doesn’t utter a single word. So he sets down his cane and then goes to pull on the door with both hands and at the same time, she pushes open the door, which makes him fall backwards. She reaches out to grab his hand but then remembers that she needs to hide her face. So she pulls back her hand and he continues falling backwards until he lands in a basin of water. Later, he angrily leaves in Gye Bin’s much shorter pants. Ha. She deep-bows as an apology and remains with her hair covering her entire face. Grandpa seriously dislikes Ha Ri now.

Tae Moo is shown the researchers' film from today. Then he is asked if he'd like to watch the behind-the-scenes video. Tae Moo suggests that they use this behind-the-scenes video of Ha Ri (side profile only) insists on catching the cabbage because she doesn't want the vegetable to land on the ground and be wasted.

Sung Hoon continues to avoid Young Seo. But then she gets approached by one of the other neighbors who claims to have received her mail by accident. The two continue talking about furniture as a slightly bothered Sung Hoon walks away with his own mail. She'd much rather be talking to Sung Hoon but...

Tae Moo shows up outside Ha Ri's home but she has him meet her at the park instead. She shows up on a motorbike, in bear hoodie complete with ears and what looks like a fencing mask on her face. lol He doesn't recognize her until she speaks. She explains that she couldn't have him go to the shop as she couldn't explain that she was meeting her fake boyfriend. He then hands her a bag and says Grandpa went to the clinic and ordered this special tonic for her. She asks worriedly if he was injured that badly. Tae Moo is confused but asks how she knew he was injured. She replies that she assumed he was injured as he mentioned that he went to the clinic. He says he had a light fall but he tends to overreact. He then pulls out something from the inside of his jacket and tells her he picked up some ointment for her bruise. She says thank you and gives him a bag of fried chicken and tells him to enjoy it with his grandfather. At home, she looks at the bag of tonic, but only pulls out the ointment and is surprised that he has a sweet side. Tae Moo arrives home and realizes that he went to see her face to check if her bruise was okay. Did they both catch feelings here? :)

The next day, Tae Moo picks up Ha Ri and tells her that her eye looks much better. For their anniversary, he takes her shopping, as this is what Grandpa wants. He tells her to do her best, as if this was real, not fake. So he picks out many outfits for her to try on until they find the perfect one - it's a classy white dress. He can't help but stare at her for a long moment. Finally he says that he likes this one and goes to pay for it. She asks the salesperson if they have a bigger size but is told that it's the only one in this country. She's stuck wearing this dress and mutters that she has a bad feeling about this. Not long after, another woman, Jo Yoo Jung, shows up asking about this dress. She’s informed that it was just sold to them, as the salesperson points out the couple leaving the building. She recognizes Tae Moo and wonders who the woman is.

Jo Yoo Jung is a director at Marine Group, who visits annoys Young Seo at work. The two are cousins who clearly don’t like each other as they exchange insults. Jo Yoo Jung’s Konglish is awesome! Later, Young Seo goes to the gym and sees Sung Hoon there but she knows to stay clear of him. However, that other neighbor is there, too, who ends up giving her tips on how to work out properly. I seriously hate those guys, lol. He is very interested in her but she feels nothing for him as she is still lusting after Sung Hoon. Later in the locker room, Sung Hoon notices that this neighbor can see perfectly fine without his glasses, so he wonders why he’s wearing them. Later, this neighbor gives her a large box, and says it's something he made and wants her feedback on it. Creepy vibes!

Ha Ri and Tae Moo go to their anniversary dinner at a restaurant owned by Grandpa. They bond over the food. However, she’s unable to eat properly as she's having issues with her dress being too tight. Been there, not repeating it. Ha. Food >>> vanity. After using the restroom, Ha Ri returns to the table, but drops her purse on the floor. When she crouches down to pick it up, she suddenly hears the back of her dress rip open! And then the staff arrive with flowers and a tiered cake with a lit candle for their anniversary. Tae Moo realizes what’s happened and helps her up and then stands directly behind her as she’s handed the flowers. They then blow out the candle together. One of the staff members takes pictures of them. Because Grandpa always needs proof.

Afterwards, Tae Moo is still laughing about her dress ripping like that as he's never seen such a thing. She says that she's told him it's the dress, not her. She complains about the size being too small but then her heel gets stuck on the sidewalk and she’s hobbling around. He picks up the shoe and crouches down to set it in front of her so she can step into it. He’s watching her and tells her to be careful. She slowly thanks him as she’s feeling butterflies now. Then the fireworks start and she comments that it's so pretty. He agrees and says it's very pretty but he's actually looking at her. She laughs as they both watch the fireworks. Later, he drops her off and she says she had fun on their fake anniversary date. He tells her that he had fun, too, on their anniversary date. He didn’t say fake. He then stands by his car to watch her walk away.

When she hangs up the dress in her closet, the photo of her and Tae Moo falls out. She's smiling as she’s looking at the picture but is interrupted by her brother who complains that she’s been out all day. Tae Moo is driving home and discovers Ha Ri's wallet on the seat. Uh oh. He turns around to go back to her home and calls her but there's no answer. He then sees Ha Ri taking out the trash but Min Woo walks up and calls her Ha Ri. Min Woo is dropping off abalones for her mother. Tae Moo is confused as to why Shin Ha Ri is there. He then looks at her wallet and looks at her ID card which says "Shin Ha Ri". So he calls Shin Geum Hui again and watches as Ha Ri answers the phone from across the street.

[Ep5] Looking quite shaken, Tae Moo says nothing and just hangs up on her.

Inside the restaurant, the family and Min Woo sit down to dinner. Han Min then hands Ha Ri her wallet and chides her for being so careless. She asks where it was, and he says it was out front. She's not sure how it ended up there.

At home, Tae Moo is looking up Shin Ha Ri's employee personnel file. He angrily throws the worry dolls across the room for being fooled by her. The next day, Ha Ri receives a text message to meet Tae Moo for lunch near her workplace. Her made-up one. She arrives late for their lunch. He asks about which small company she works for. She says that they sell household goods. He asks for her to specify. She looks around and says coffee mugs, air fresheners, tie pins and so on. He claims that he doesn't know much about her but she knows everything about him. Yes, you paid her for that! She says they're not really dating so why would he need to know. He abruptly ends this interrogation and and then he calls Sung Hoon to schedule a meeting at 2 p.m. with Team 1. She looks at her watch, it's 1:25 p.m. So he offers her a ride back to work and she refuses.

Of course she arrives back late and tries to hide from him but no such luck this time. Tae Moo orders her to re-do the white kimchi ravioli recipe by lowering the cost by 20%. Ms. Yeo says it had the highest ratings at the tasting event. Ha Ri tries to argue that if it's lowered by 20% then the quality will go down, and he steamrolls her into doing as he says. Back in Tae Moo's office, Sung Hoon questions why he's requesting this as he seems to be very emotional towards Ha Ri. Tae Moo asks him if he doesn't know who she is. He then yells that Shin Ha Ri is Shin Geum Hui. A surprised Sung Hoon asks what he's going to do. He replies that he'll take his time to make her realize just how big of a mistake she's made. So mature... he did pay for her services. He does recall that part, right?

Tae Moo makes Ha Ri re-do the raviolis over and over. He takes pleasure in rejecting her attempts, including not even tasting the dishes. Nothing is to his satisfaction. At some point, she corners him and gets right in his face and asks exactly how he wants it done. He’s bothered by how close she is to him, and stammers out that he wants it done until it's to his liking. Then he looks around like a cornered animal before he walks away from her.

She re-making the kimchi raviolis when Min Woo drops by for a visit as he has a meeting with the marketing department. At the employee cafeteria, Grandpa joins Tae Moo and Sung Hoon for lunch, which makes many of the employees flee. When Grandpa sees the poster with Ha Ri and Min Woo, he complains about Ha Ri being the one who made him fall. He says that she looks fine here so why was her face all covered with hair before. Tae Moo says that he guesses it's because of all the lies. Then he makes this uneasy face at the poster as he fixes his hair. lol His face! The guys sit down to lunch and then Ha Ri walks in with Min Woo. She’s talking to Min Woo about the food and suddenly notices that the place is kind of empty. She looks around and sees Tae Moo glaring at her. They play the sound of a flying archaeopteryx during this. Hahaha. She gasps and quickly turns around and asks Min Woo if he would like to go somewhere else for lunch. She starts shoving him out of the cafeteria.

Grandpa then asks if Geum Hui is busy these days, which makes Sung Hoon choke on his drink. Tae Moo is glaring after Ha Ri and Min Woo. He’s thinking how dare she date someone else openly at work as he smashes his fork into his food. Grandpa tries to get his attention several times to ask about setting up a date to see Geum Hui. Tae Moo says he’ll set up as soon as possible which makes poor Sung Hoon choke on his drink again.

Tae Moo tells Ha Ri that she needs to attend the Founding Anniversary Ceremony as Grandpa wants to see her, and that's the only day Tae Moo can make time. She tries to make excuses to get out of it but he shoots down every excuse and tells her that she needs to pay the penalty fee for getting out of it. She ends up having to go as she doesn't have enough funds. Tae Moo is upset so he cleans Sung Hoon's place again. He finds a package for Jin Young Seo, and Sung Hoon finally tells him that that's who his new neighbor is. Sung Hoon admits that he feels bad for Ha Ri as Tae Moo was the one who suggested this when he knew was a stand-in for someone else and he even made it sound like a threat. He's sure that she had to hide that she worked for their company. Sung Hoon says perhaps he can forgive her for now, as she's a good employee. Tae Moo complains that she has her crush of seven years working for the company she works at. He then claims that she's bringing all of her personal issues into work. Sung Hoon looks at him and then says he seems to lose his calmness when she's involved. Tae Moo says that nobody else has made him so angry before. Uh huh, and what else besides the anger?

Sung Hoon drops off the package to Young Seo but there’s a misunderstanding between them as he draws a line on the floor with his foot and tells her to stay on her side of it. He was trying to keep her from finding out that Tae Moo was inside his place. While Ha Ri is staying over at Young Seo's, she ends up putting together the lamp that the neighbor gave to Young Seo. It appears that the lamp might have a recording device as there's a red indicator light on it.

Ha Ri goes to work and finds out that she is the recipient of the Mega Hit Award. Gye Bin says that she'll get the award from President Kang at the Founding Anniversary Ceremony. Omo. She finds a way to get out of going as Shin Ha Ri. But he then he has flowers sent to her house congratulating her for this award and now her family has been invited to attend. She doesn't understand why this is happening. She has a nightmare about going to this event and being discovered by her parents.

Young Seo goes to a popular restaurant and they have one seat available at the bar but it's right next to Sung Hoon, who has made it clear that he doesn't want to see her. But she decides to not leave and stays to enjoy her meal. Meanwhile, Ha Ri is out drinking with her co-workers. Eventually, a drunk Ha Ri calls Tae Moo from the playground, and says that she can't go to the ceremony, but she also can't afford to pay the penalty fee. He says that she sounds drunk but she whines that she isn't. She interrupts the call to yell at some high schoolers for smoking. They then throw down their cigarette butts and she yells after them and falls off the swing she's sitting in, and then the call gets dropped. He calls her back but her phone is off now. He then looks throughout the city for her.

Eventually, he finds her asleep in a slide at the playground. He wakes her up and she's surprised to see him. He tells her that she needs to go home, but she says it's cold and then leans against him. She tells him that this has to be a dream as there's no way he'd really come running to take care of her like this. He looks surprised by her words. As this is a dream, she asks if she can tell him a secret. She admits that she's Shin Ha Ri, and Shin Ha Ri is Shin Geum Hui. She admits that she feels better for letting that out. Then she apologizes to him before leaning on him. When Ha Min comes looking for her, Tae Moo hides and watches her brother takes her home. At home, Tae Moo thinks about what she just confessed to along with Sung Hoon's observations. Shaking his head, he says it makes no sense for him to treat something fake as if it's real.

Ha Ri receives a text message from Tae Moo but she ends up calling him as she's having a hard time understanding it. He tells her bluntly that she, Shin Geum Hui, is fired. She's confused as to what happened. Once she hangs up, she realizes that she doesn't have to worry so much anymore. So she goes to work and Ms. Yeo tells her that they're going to stay with the original kimchi ravioli recipe. Finally!

Sung Hoon asks Tae Moo if he’s decided to forgive her. Tae Moo replies that he realizes he was investing too much time in something that's insignificant. In his mind, he thinks that there's no way he has feelings for Shin Ha Ri. Since they're going on a business trip, he thinks that this will pass if he doesn't see her for a few days. However, while he's in New York and busy with business negotiations, Tae Moo envisions Ha Ri everywhere. She pops up during random conversations. At some point, the figment Ha Ri even presses him to admit his feelings for her. At home, Ha Ri sees the white dress in her closet and thinks about Tae Moo saying that she was very pretty that night. The next day, she answers an unknown number, and a man asks for Shin Geum Hui - it's Grandpa and he wants to have dinner together. She then calls Tae Moo who just ignores her call.

After accidentally knocking off the lamp onto the floor, Young Seo discovers that there's a camera in the debris! So that creepy neighbor really has been watching her! She's on her way to the police when he stops her and the two fight over the lamp. Sung Hoon interrupts them, which gives the jerk the opportunity to wrestle the lamp away from her, shove her down and then he's gone. Young Seo quickly explains that the jerk's been taking secret footage of her and Sung Hoon takes off after the jerk. The jerk flings the camera away into the bushes. A determined Sung Hoon manages to catch up to him and even detains him for the authorities. On his way to dinner with Grandpa, Tae Moo calls Sung Hoon to tell him to join them for dinner. He's informed that he's at the police station. Ha Ri arrives outside the restaurant, and Tae Moo wonders why she's here as Geum Hui again. She says she knows she was fire but grandfather's been asking to see her, so... He interrupts to ask if her friend, Jin Young Seo has called her. She has no idea. He then says, "Let’s go, Ms. Shin Ha Ri," and grabs her by the wrist. She jerks her wrist out of his grasp and looks at him in surprise. He repeats the words, and she asks what he just called her.

[Ep6] She's shocked but she goes with him to the police station. The women find out that the pervert is only getting fined for taking the secret footage. Tae Moo asks Sung Hoon to get the pervert's personal information.

Back at home, Ha Ri realizes that Tae Moo's known her real identity since their impromptu lunch, which means he invited her to the ceremony on purpose. So he’s been tormenting her at work for revenge this whole time.

Tae Moo meets with the creepy neighbor and tells him that he's fired from his job, as he's bought out the company that he works at, with the condition that this guy gets fired. Tae Moo says this isn't the first time he's done this. He also has a written statement and recording from one of the many victims and he will find them all and file lawsuits accordingly. Add in the attempt to destroy evidence (when he threw the camera), this guy will be facing lots of prison time. The pervert pitifully pleads for mercy and says that he can't go to prison. Sung Hoon calls him shameless, as he's never thought about the victims who have been forced to live with the burden of unknowingly being filmed. When the two guys go to leave, the pervert drops the act and angrily asks how this has anything to do with them. Tae Moo tells him that he messed with someone that he never should have. Both guys angrily curse at the man.

Back at work, Ha Ri returns to avoiding Tae Moo. He texts her to meet after work. Tae Moo tells Sung Hoon that he's developed feelings for Ha Ri. He's decided that he's going to confess! He's so overconfident that he's buying jewelry (a necklace), as he's sure that she'll accept. He can't imagine that anyone would reject him. At dinner, Ha Ri is quite nervous and confused by his suddenly very cordial demeanor. She starts with her apology. He tries to confess but then she hands him her resignation letter. She knows that he's mad but she wants him to listen to her presentation before deciding whether to accept her resignation or not. He rubs his head in frustration, and the staff starts bringing out the cake, flowers and musicians. (Touching his forehead was the pre-arranged cue for them to come out.) He practically hisses at them to go away as she's going on about her accomplishments at the company. XD Is the hissing kind of archaeopteryx-like?

Sung Hoon teases him about it later. Tae Moo is confused as to why she doesn't see him in a romantic way as he's handsome, tall and rich. What is he lacking? Sung Hoon puts his fist on Tae Moo's chest and says that heart-pounding charm. Ha! His sincerity isn't evident! Even if she says she's over her crush, she'll still need time to open up her heart again. Sung Hoon also tells him that their work relationship is the worst - as he's the terrifying boss who tried to fire her. He advises him to make real situations, as those fake dates don’t count. Sung Hoon is the more charming one. ;)

Ha Ri is worried about getting fired as she hasn’t heard back from Tae Moo. At a group dinner, Yoo Ra wants to talk trash about Ha Ri. She annoys me so I won't even type what she's said... Young Seo defends her friend by telling them that Ha Ri has a very handsome, nice, and very tall boyfriend. He’s also very rich. And they’re going on a date this weekend. Min Woo asks Ha Ri if this is who she went to the concert with and she confirms it is. Min Woo doesn’t look happy to hear this and Yoo Ra notices his expression. *rolling eyes*

Tae Moo finally texts Ha Ri to come see him in his office. In front of her, he tears up her resignation letter. She's ecstatic that she'll get to keep her job. Then he tells her that he'll see her after work for a new product that he's been working on in secret. She asks after work? He asks what happened to the employee who just said she would work hard. She agrees to do it and leaves his office with a huge smile. She gleefully runs through the hallway knowing that she's keeping her job. She's adorable! Meanwhile, Young Seo is unable to use public bathrooms after the creepy neighbor incident. At work, Young Seo and Jo Yoo Jung manage to somehow spend the entire week in similar outfits along with accessories, to the latter's chagrin.

In the name of "research", Tae Moo takes Ha Ri to see a movie. Dude, your game is so weak. When her seat gets stuck, he fixes it but they end up face-to-face. She then excuses herself to use the bathroom and mutters about little things making her heart skip. On her way back, she runs into Ms. Yeo and Gye Bin who are there to watch a movie. Hmm, why are they together? She runs back to tell him about them but they find her before she can even finish telling him. She stands up next to his seat to hide him from their view and gestures at him to leave - by swatting him in the face. XD (The BTS for this scene is hilarious!) He crawls over to hide behind a different row of seats and clutches at his injured cheek as he waits. Ha! When asked about the two seats, she says she booked two seats as a treat for herself. lol Her colleagues won't leave and short of being rude, she lets them stay. Poor high-and-mighty Tae Moo now has to crawl his way out of the theatre. Haha.

When Ha Ri leaves the theatre, her co-workers are still with her. Tae Moo is waiting (hidden) for her in the lobby and calls her when he spots her. She tells him that she's going to grab drinks with her co-workers, as she didn't expect him to be waiting. Like he couldn't text her earlier?

Poor Young Seo hasn't been able to use the bathroom all day - because she's worried about being spied on now. She's waiting at the bus stop when Sung Hoon sees her and offers her a ride home. They end up stuck in a gridlock, and she is about to lose it as she needs to go quite urgently now. She finally decides to leave his car. Sung Hoon asks why she’s leaving in the middle of the road. She admits to him that if she stays in the car, she'll relieve herself right here and now. She then runs to a public bathroom but the door is locked! Sung Hoon, who isn’t too far behind her, and actually busts down the door to get her into the bathroom. Afterwards, she goes home and laughs and then cries about it. She just has some of the most humiliating moments with him...

At home, Tae Moo is bemoaning why it's so hard to just go on one date. She has to know it's a date first! Now he's wondering what his next excuse will need to be. At work, Tae Moo becomes distracted during a meeting, as he's looking at Ha Ri's social media posts. Afterwards, he calls her to tell her they're going on a business trip together. Tae Moo picks up Ha Ri for the trip and she's suddenly blinded by how gorgeous he is. She tells herself she's here for work and to snap out of it. He claims that they're going to Sokcho to eat so he can get ideas for his secret project. She insists on driving them to his suggested destination, a makguksu restaurant that she's excited to go to (social media mining!). He suggests a scenic drive but she says there's no time and floors it! lol And right when they arrive, a sign gets posted that lunch service is over as they're out of ingredients. She's disappointed and wondering where they can go next.

Clever Tae Moo already has a surprise Plan B: Go to the beach, where a hamburger food truck she wanted to try is set up. When she sees it, she runs excitedly to the truck. It turns out that Tae Moo had told the owner to sell them two burgers today, and he’d still pay an entire day’s worth of sales! The way to her heart is through her stomach. :) She’s happily eating this hamburger, as she explains to him that she didn’t get to eat them a lot as a kid. He asks why. She replies that her family had a bakery when she was growing up and her parents didn’t want the customers seeing her eating the burgers as they wouldn’t buy the bread then. So she spent some time trying to eat them in secret.

He then asks about her dreams, as he's very interested in her. But only as a president taking interest in his employees. You total lunkhead. *facepalm* She didn’t have a dream as a child but has always had a great affinity for food, so she had majored in culinary arts thinking she'd become a chef. But then she discovered the position for "Food Product Researcher". He asks what her dream is now. She tells him when she was young, her parents were so busy so she always bought food and her favorite foods were the frozen foods. So she wanted to make people feel the same happiness as she did when had those frozen items. He suddenly gets out of his seat and crouches down to tie her shoelace. Once he's done, he tells her whether she's Shin Geum Hui or Shin Ha Ri, this is the same. Her shoe issues. She just looks at him.

Young Seo is still trying to avoid Sung Hoon, per his original request. But they end up at the same restaurant and are even seated next to each other. She then proceeds to get quite drunk. Eventually, he asks her why she’s avoiding him. She finds it rich that he needs to ask. She says she feels embarrassed about what happened. He tells her that she can stop avoiding him as it was a natural thing. He leaves to take a call and when he returns, she's already left. She's drunkenly stumbling around outside and almost gets run over by someone on a scooter but Sung Hoon shows up to pull her out of the way. She asks why he’s there and he admits that he followed her because he was worried about her. She confesses that she fell for him the first time she laid eyes on him but he's President Kang's secretary. And then he drew the line and told her to not cross it. She can't even go to the bathroom without being afraid because of that creep, and to top it off, she makes a fool out of herself in front of him, too. She almost falls over so he holds onto her. She tells him if he doesn't let go of her, then she'll really cross the line. She counts out 1,2,3... and then she kisses him! He doesn’t respond, so she pulls back. But he quickly pulls her back in for an even longer kiss. Ohhh.

For the return trip, Tae Moo insists on driving them back. Ha Ri says that she thinks she ate too many hamburgers and dumplings today. He teases her that at least her clothing didn't burst at the seams this time. lol Suddenly, it starts raining and Tae Moo has flashbacks about his parents' fatal car accident and ends up having to pull over. He’s trembling as he orders Ha Ri to get out. She’s confused but she gets out of the car. Why does she have to get out though? He then drives away without an explanation, nor does he even allow her to grab her bag. She manages to find shelter at a bus stop, and even finds a damaged umbrella to use. Meanwhile, Tae Moo finally pulls over again as he continues reliving the scene of the accident in the rain and then he starts crying. Ha Ri continues walking in the rain and then discovers that her phone is dead. Luckily, she sees a well-lit hotel in the distance and walks toward it.

When the rain ceases, Tae Moo drives back to where he made Ha Ri get out but she's not there. He tries calling her but is unable to get through. At the hotel, Ha Ri is drying off her hair in the bathroom and complaining about him. But then she recalls how uneasy he was with the rain before. She asks the front desk for her phone where it’s been charging, and then she hears Yoo Ra calling her name. Yoo Ra and their friends ask Ha Ri about her boyfriend. She goes to say that she didn't come with her boyfriend but she's interrupted by someone calling out jagiya! She turns to see Tae Moo walking towards her. All four women just stare at him. He stops in front of Ha Ri and puts one hand on her shoulder and tenderly places the other on her head and asks if she's been waiting long. Yoo Ra scoffs and asks Ha Ri who this guy is. She goes to reply but Tae Moo introduces himself as Ha Ri's boyfriend, Kang Tae Moo. Ha Ri can only stare at him in shock.

[Ep7] Tae Moo had finally gotten through to her phone as a hotel employee had answered it while it was charging.

Yoo Ra looks less than pleased by Tae Moo's answer. She recovers and invites the couple to join them for dinner. Tae Moo agrees and then winks at Ha Ri. She is quite confused by his erratic behavior. Before they go into the restaurant, she pulls him back and asks why he lied about being her boyfriend. He says he was just saving her from her lie. She demands that he apologize first for leaving her out in the rain. He apologizes before they head inside. On their way in, she tells him to forget it but then they overhear her friends wondering if she really has a boyfriend, and if he's even her boyfriend as he's dressed too well, etc. He suggests that she accept his help so she can at least keep her pride.

During the meal, he starts his boyfriend campaign to take them down a notch or two. Phase I, he shows off his wealth by offering to pay for their expensive (450,000 won/pp!) meal. He sweetly asks her to look at him only, and then waves around his black credit card. He asks if she knows what his love for her and the card have in common. She shakes her head and he says they have no limit. One of her dumb friends actually claps at this. Phase II, he's quite clingy as he's propped his head on his hand and just sits there and watches her eat. It's not awkward enough, so he also picks off some invisible lint off of her sleeve. She give him a confused smile and asks him to stop staring at her and to eat. He tells her that he's full from watching her eat, which makes her choke on her sip of wine. Ha! He then dabs ever so gently at her lips with a napkin. Her friends, except for Yoo Ra, are delighted by how much he fawns over her. Yoo Ra just glares. Ha Ri finally excuses herself to go to the bathroom. Tae Moo gets up and offers to escort her as he gets nervous when she's out of his sight. Hahaha! This is too much! She has no choice but to agree.

When she almost walks into a guy walking in the opposite direction, Tae Moo spins her around to save her from this potential collision. Ridiculous shot. lol He then asks the guy what he would have done if he had hurt his girlfriend. Phase III is be loyal like a dog. She needs a longer leash. Heh. Her friends are even more envious that he's perfect and really loves Ha Ri. However Yoo Ri just looks miserable. Whatever.

When they return to the table, the women ask him what he likes about Ha Ri. He says she's pretty. He moves away a lock of hair from her face as he continues saying that he's never seen anyone as pretty as her in his entire life. She tells him to stop exaggerating just because he's in front of her friends. Are they really her friends though? He says he's not exaggerating as he knew it when he first saw her that she was the girl for him. She wonders to herself, just how many women he must have dated for these lines to come so easily. Yoo Ra says she's jealous that her boyfriend is such a sweetheart. Her friends say that Min Woo is no chump either. Tae Moo asks if they're referring to Chef Lee Min Woo. The women then ask if he works with Ha Ri and which department is he in. Tae Moo replies with which department would the President belong to? This makes Ha Ri spill wine all over herself. The women are evn more impressed by him.

Afterwards, Yoo Ra asks where they're staying tonight and Ha Ri (whose sweater is barely showing any of the red wine stain!) goes to answer but Tae Moo puts his arm around her and says they're staying here, too. Once the women leave, Ha Ri says that they need to go back to Seoul. He replies that there's no bus now and they can't drive as they drank. So he's booked them a suite but she's uncomfortable about them sharing a room. He asks if it makes sense for a couple to have two rooms. He suggests him sleeping on the couch and she can have the bedroom. She tries to take the couch but when he gets too close to her, she gets flustered and bolts for the bathroom.

In her room, Yoo Ra complains about how Ha Ri is dating that perfect guy, and how everything she does annoys her. Ha. I don't like you either! Min Woo arrives and asks about the suite upgrade. She says that Ha Ri's boyfriend upgraded their room. He's surprised to hear that she has a boyfriend. Yoo Ra happily tells him that it's Kang Tae Moo. Via text, her friends ask Ha Ri about her boyfriend as they wonder how a lowly employee is dating the president. She wonders what to tell them. I wouldn't even bother. I'd just dump these "friends". Tae Moo suggests that she say that he fell in love with her at first sight. She's not as worried about her friends as she is about making him uncomfortable as he'll have to work with Min Woo. He asks if she's really worried about him or her crush on Min Woo. She's surprised he knows about her crush. She repeats that it was a one-sided crush in the past. He smiles and asks her if she's really over him as he doesn't need a girlfriend who cheats on him. She says she noticed he was an amazing actor earlier, and he replies that he's told her before that he's good at many things. Hehe. She's flustered by this and just tells him that she's going to get some sleep. They both realize that they’re not going to get any sleep tonight.

The next day, Ha Ri wakes up to a call from Tae Moo telling her it's time to get up. He then tells her that someone will be up there soon, so just let them in. Right on cue, the doorbell rings. The hotel staff has brought her clothes for today. He texts her to choose whatever she'd like, but preferably white so they can match. Hmm, assigning couple's wear? Dressed in white, she runs into Min Woo who asks her about dating President Kang. She confirms it's true and he says he's surprised. They're interrupted by Tae Moo, who arrives in a similarly-colored outfit and puts his arm around her. She gawks at his hand on her shoulder and looks visibly uncomfortable by it. As the two guys are sizing each other up, (both men are so tall!) Ha Ri quickly suggests they go inside for breakfast.

Meanwhile, Young Seo wakes up in an oversized black T-shirt and then realizes she's in Sung Hoon's place. She recalls the kiss and how his shirt came off and that she unbuttoned her top, and how they continued kissing on the couch. She's embarrassed, so she hurriedly gets dressed and tries to run out of there. But no such luck, as Sung Hoon returns with hangover soup for breakfast. She claims that she needs to go to work. He asks if she works on a Sunday and she replies that she's busy. He says about last night, are they - She interrupts to tell him let's pretend it never happened. He's confused by this and then she leaves. Oh?!?

Tae Moo needs to go back to Seoul for work and Ha Ri is ready to go. But Min Woo interrupts to ask if she has to leave. Ha Ri’s friends also ask her to stay and hang out with them. Yoo Ra tells them to stop it as he's busy. Min Woo tells Ha Ri that she should stay as there's no need for her to leave, too. Tae Moo looks at Min Woo and says he'll adjust his schedule to hers. Yoo Ra is unhappy with Min Woo. Tae Moo pulls her closer to him and asks her "Jagiya, do you want to stay here for one more day?" She's startled and confused by this.

On Grandpa's boat, Min Woo asks how they ended up dating as it's unusual for a president and an employee to be dating. Tae Moo replies that he followed her around because he fell for her at first sight. Ha Ri doesn't believe it and thinks to herself that he probably thought she was crazy. Tae Moo then says he'd never met anyone as crazy as Ha Ri and it was so refreshing. Every time they met, she would do something weird and say the craziest things. He laughs and asks if she remembers what she said. She had said forget two-timing, as she usually sees 3 to 4 guys at a time. He says he later found out that she was only trying to push him away because she realized he was interested in her. One of her friends asks what she didn't like about him. Tae Moo answers that the second time they met, he proposed to her but she turned it down immediately. So he had no choice but to go on blind dates. The more dates he went on, the more he thought of her, so he asked her to see him again. She wonders how he's so good at making lies sound like the truth. Because there's more truth to what he's saying than she knows! Min Woo looks displeased.

Later, Min Woo asks Tae Moo why he has to date Ha Ri, who is not from a normal family and also his employee. Tae Moo asks if he's saying "Ms. Shin isn't good enough to be dating someone like me", is that what he means? Min Woo says he's worried about her. Tae Moo asks if he only dates people on his "level"? He tells Min Woo that Ms. Shin is someone with endless charm, so he shouldn't dare judge his girlfriend ever again. Min Woo, go away already.

The two guys end up competing over who can catch the most fish. Poor Ha Ri isn't feeling well but Tae Moo is too focused on trying to beat Min Woo to notice her discomfort. At some point, she starts falling over, and Min Woo catches her and notices that her hand is very warm. Tae Moo drops the fishing pole and rushes over to give Ha Ri his full attention. Finally! He then loads Ha Ri into his car. Min Woo asks to go with them. Tae Moo says he'll take care of it and gets into the car and drives away. Yoo Ra sees the look of disappointment on Min Woo's face. Tae Moo is rushing her to the hospital. Ha Ri tells him that she doesn't need to go to the hospital. He insists on taking her, and he ignores yet another call.

Back at that restaurant, Sung Hoon is remembering the first time he'd seen Young Seo at the convenience store, and when they'd bumped into each other afterwards. He had thought she was so pretty and had decided that he'd found his love. It was love at first sight for him, too! Squeee! He's confused as she had told him that she likes him, so why did she tell him to forget about last night?

Tae Moo arrives outside Ha Ri's place but lets her stay asleep in the car. Eventually she wakes up and feels better now that she’s been treated and gotten some rest. He answers a call but says he’ll have to talk to them later and then hangs up on them. She then apologizes for the long day as he had to pretend to be her boyfriend, and had to go through the trouble of using the boat and everything. He tells her to stop apologizing as he did it all because he wanted to. He gets out and asks her if she really doesn't know. Why would he spend the entire weekend pretending to be her boyfriend as he hates to waste his time more than anything? Why did he go through her social media to find things she likes and why did he put off his meetings for her? He asks again if she really doesn't know. He actually admits that he has feelings for her! He knows that it must feel sudden and it's the same for him. He was too jealous of Min Woo to realize that she was feeling sick. He admits that he's an idiot. Then he asks her to stop apologizing as he should be the one apologizing to her.

Ha Ri's response to his confession was that she needed to go home. Tae Moo had said that she must be flustered right now. He won't rush her, so take her time to think things over and then let him know. However, now he’s thinking that he should have given her a deadline. lol Grandpa angrily barges into his office to show him pictures - of him with Ha Ri (side profile only). He demands to know who this woman is. He tells Grandpa that he can’t tell him yet. Grandpa then tries to beat him for cheating on Geum Hui. He tells Grandpa that he already broke up with Geum Hui and is seeing another woman. This craziness and it’s all the same woman!

Sung Hoon tells him that Grandpa's already telling him to set him up on blind dates. lol He asks why doesn't he tell Ha Ri how he feels and then bring her to meet Grandpa. Tae Moo admits that he's confessed already but he's waiting for an answer. Sung Hoon assumes that he's been rejected. Haha. Elsewhere, both women are lamenting about the two guys. Young Seo admits that she slept with Sung Hoon but she doesn't remember any of it. Omo!!! She's fretting over not remembering such an important moment. Ha Ri says that she should have told him the truth. Young Seo didn't because she doesn't want him to think she'll do it every time she's drunk, plus it'll hurt his pride, too. She then finds out that Ha Ri was with Tae Moo all weekend long. She tells Ha Ri that Tae Moo helped all of the pervert neighbor's past victims file lawsuits against him, and now she knows why he did that.

When Young Seo sees Sung Hoon in the parking lot, she runs away to crouch down to hide behind a column. Then her phone rings so he follows the sound and sees her coattail hanging out on the ground. She makes the lame excuse that she had a leg cramp. He asks her to stop making him feel so pathetic. He’ll pretend that night never happened like she said, so stop avoiding him. He doesn’t want his sincerity disregarded. He wasn't acting impulsively that night. He admits he's been interested in her ever since he saw her at the convenience store. He should have kept his distance and apologizes to her before he leaves. He goes to his apartment but Young Seo suddenly runs up and sticks her foot in the door before he can close the door. She asks if he really was interested in her from the beginning. He asks if any of that matters now and goes to close the door. But she won’t let him.

JSY: I wasn’t avoiding you. I had my reasons -

CSH: It’s fine. I have nothing more to say.

JSY: It’s nothing like that… She follows him inside to his place. So… Actually… I don’t remember what happened that night.

CSH: What?

JSY: I don’t remember anything - She shakes her head - About sleeping with you. I was so flustered, and that’s why I left after saying that it didn’t count. So…

CSH: Really? You really don’t remember anything? She just nods her head a few times.

JSY: Yes. I know how crazy I must sound right now. She's quite distressed. But it’s unfair for me, too! How can I like you so much - shakes her hands - and not remember anything about what happened? She lowers her head and looks down. I felt so shameful and embarrassed. He’s quietly chuckling. She looks at him in shock. Did you just laugh? Why?

CSH smiling: Because you’re so adorable. The perfect response!

JSY: Adorable? You’re not mad or shocked or anything?

CSH shaking his head: No.

JSY: But back there, you said that we should draw the line again.

CSH: Let’s make that null and void. And, from now on…I’ll make sure that you will never forget. O_o

Then they move together to start kissing. And when he removes his glasses and throws them down, the kisses only deepen with every second. Blazing hot kisses! We have a second couple before we have a first couple! (~46:30)

The next day, Ha Ri goes to work and sees Tae Moo and Sung Hoon but only Sung Hoon greets her. She wonders why she even cares about his response when she's planning to reject him. And the day after that, she avoids him. Meanwhile, pictures of Tae Moo and Ha Ri (face unseen), are circulating online and being gossiped about. Tae Moo loses his cool during a meeting over not having an exact date...because he's impatiently waiting to hear from Ha Ri. He doesn't want to contact (pressure) her but it's been a week since he's heard from her.

Tae Moo ignores Grandpa's calls. There's a shoot for the promotional video for Team 1’s white kimchi ravioli with Min Woo. Hye Ji is supposed to be filming with him, but she's nervous and takes three calming pills and ends up too loopy. Ms. Yeo then suggests Ha Ri be her replacement. The filming starts and Tae Moo arrives to see that she's part of today's shoot. He starts asking why but Sung Hoon holds him back. Min Woo and Ha Ri have friendly banter for the cameras. Then she notices Tae Moo watching her, so she keeps chopping without looking at what she’s doing and suddenly blood squirts everywhere. Tae Moo's about to run up there to help her but Sung Hoon stops him. She raises both hands with a bottle of red sauce in one hand, and says that she had pressed on the bottle. LMAO

She goes to clean up in the bathroom. When she exits, she finds Tae Moo waiting for her. Sung Hoon interrupts to inform Tae Moo that Grandpa is here. So Tae Moo runs away with Ha Ri as Sung Hoon tries to stall Grandpa. They hide on another part of the set but she's got her back to the wall and he's standing very close to her. Grandpa is yelling at Sung Hoon to tell Tae Moo to go on blind dates again if he's not getting back together with Geum Hui. Sung Hoon finally convinces Grandpa to leave and give up looking for Tae Moo.

Tae Moo then tells Ha Ri that he had to tell Grandpa that he broke up with Geum Hui as he can't introduce her as her forever. She tells him to go on the blind dates. He asks if she's rejecting him right now. She nods. He asks what the reason is. She says there are a lot of reasons. She's worried about what his grandfather and employees would think. He only cares about what she thinks. She says she thinks it won't work out. He asks if she really doesn't have any feelings for him. She doesn't say anything so he says that he understands. He says he has feelings for her and he won't give up. If she rejects him, he'll ask her out over and over again until she finally likes him back. So she needs to brace herself. Oh. She asks why he's making it so hard for her. Why is he being so nice to her and making her think about him? He makes her wonder if it will work out, even though she knows that it never could. Why does he make her want more? Stop liking her and stop trying to get close to her. She goes to leave but he pulls her back and places his hands on her shoulders. He says what she's worried about will never happen. He promises, so just stay by his side. She looks at him and lingers on his lips. She then pulls him in for a kiss! At first he's startled but then he kisses her back and their kiss goes on and on.

[Ep8] Their long kiss finally ends and he asks her if he can consider this as a positive response to him asking her out. She looks petrified and quickly removes her hands from around his neck and says it was a mistake. She then asks if they can pretend that it never happened before she runs off. What?! He chases after her to ask how she can just leave like that. Min Woo interrupts to say they’ve been looking for her.

At home, Tae Moo is thinking about their kiss. He complains to the worry doll about her kissing him and then saying it’s a mistake. Ha Ri is at home and wishes she had more days of leave left to use. She wonders how she’ll face him when she sees him again. Both are laying down in bed with a hint of a smile and touching their lips with their fingers.

Ha Ri’s chopping incident with the sauce bottle is going viral. Tae Moo calls Ha Ri but she won't answer the call. Tae Moo co-presents a donation for the treatment of rare cancers at a hospital. Director Jin Chae Rim from the Marine Art Museum introduces herself to Tae Moo and says that he's too good for her niece Jin Young Seo. She then receives a call from her daughter, Jo Yoo Jung, who whines about wanting to quit her job. Her mother doesn't want her cousin to take over her daughter's job, so she offers her a managerial position. Ugh.

Tae Moo overhears Sung Hoon’s phone conversation about having dinner tonight with someone. Sung Hoon hangs up and asks him if he wants to go home now. Tae Moo tells him that the day is over, but he has plans but he’ll drive himself there. Sung Hoon asks where he’s going and Tae Moo says to let him have his privacy and tells him to enjoy his dinner.

Now Tae Moo and Ha Ri are in his car and it's totally silent. He asks if they didn't need to talk. She says the thing that happened yesterday - weren't they done talking about it? He says done? Says who? She says she told him to just pretend that it never happened. He says she's just going to say that it was a simple mistake after she kissed him first? He knows she's been dodging his calls as well.

SHR: I mean, the kiss… That was because we were standing so close together. And we just bumped into each other, like a fender-bender. She even demonstrates by punching her fists together.

KTM incredulously: A fender-bender? Are my lips some kind of a column for you to crash into? Column. LOL!

SHR: Well, that’s not what I was trying to say...

KTM: So, what happened yesterday was a mistake you simply made out of lust. And you have no feelings for me?

SHR: What do you mean, lust? He just looks at her. I’m sorry. It wasn’t on purpose.

KTM: A mistake or not, you’re the one who started it. She did pull in... So you should make up for it, right? She resignedly sighs.

SHR quietly: Right, that… I’ll do what I can to take responsibility and pay you back. He hides his smile from her.

KTM quite seriously: Very well. Buy me dinner to pay me back for kissing me. So sneaky!

They’re now at a very expensive restaurant and she’s shocked by the menu prices. 400,000 won for a prix-fixe meal! She asks how he can ask a commoner to buy him something this expensive. So she stays “indebted” to him for as long as possible…lol He says she said that she would make up for it. She tells him, to be honest, that kiss…she didn't do that by herself. He kissed her back. Like a total player. All skilled and whatnot… XD Do tell him more! He asks if she’s not the only one at fault. She says that’s correct. He says then let him take care of her for the rest of her life, as a man to a woman. Her jaw drops at this but she says that’s not what they’re talking about. He leans forward on the table and tells her he’s told her that he has feelings for her. How could he stay still when the woman he liked started kissing him so aggressively? She looks away and just stammers at this. He suggests that she pay him back in another way. She asks what other way. He says that he prefers to pay people back with exactly what he received from them. An eye for an eye and a kiss for a kiss. Hehe. She covers her mouth in shock and says fine, she’ll pay for the food. But he can eat by himself. She’ll just skip this meal. But then their amuse-bouche arrives and she has to watch him enjoy it.

At his restaurant, a photographer is taking photos of Min Woo with his food. He is asked to smile more naturally. Yoo Ra says that he must be nervous and then goes to fix his hair. The photographer says that they can take a break. Min Woo asks what she’s doing as she didn’t ask him about this beforehand. She asks why he’s complaining. He cuts his eyes at her and looks away. She asks why he’s being this way to her lately. He asks what she’s talking about. She replies since their return from Sokcho. He says he’s just stressed out because of work and she rolls her eyes at this. The photographer asks Min Woo if the video with the researcher was scripted. Min Woo enthusiastically tells him that it wasn’t as Ha Ri isn’t quick enough to act out something like that, as she’s really innocent. Yoo Ra scoffs at this. She later sees the comments about the video in the vein of “They look together so they have to be dating. If they aren’t, they should be.” Spare me this jealous woman and her idiotic boyfriend!

Ha Ri is eating but not enjoying the food as she’s thinking about her credit card bill for next month. The chef then brings out something off the new menu for Tae Moo to try with his more discerning palate. He grabs a piece of dessert and takes a bite and Ha Ri just stares at his lips as he chews and gets hot at the thought of their kiss. She even touches her lips as she stares at him, until he asks why she isn’t eating. Then she covers her mouth as if to wipe off her drool. XD She claims that she needs to go to the bathroom. She runs into the bathroom and scolds herself for being this way and to snap out of it. She sings to herself in the bathroom to calm herself down.

When she returns to the table, she finds Tae Moo playing the piano and she just listens appreciatively. They return to their table and she asks that he plays the piano too. He asks if she’s forgotten that he’s good at everything. She asks if he plays the piano for every woman that he meets. He says he doesn’t have to answer that since they’re not in a relationship. Oh. She covers her mouth and he tells her if she wants to hear the answer, then go out with him. She only says she’ll grab the check and asks for their coats and wallets. They bring the coats and wallets and she asks if they accept installment plans. Ha. She’s informed that he’s already paid. Heh. I knew it! She runs after him and asks why he did that as she wanted to pay him back. He says he’s thought about it and doesn’t want her to repay the kiss with this. He tells her he wants something bigger, so brace herself. He walks and stops very close to her face so that she could repay him with something else. She blocks her mouth and tells him no way. She’ll buy him a more expensive meal next time. He says that he’s looking forward to it. Like I said, forever indebted. lol

Young Seo gives Sung Hoon a surprise at her place - she made them dinner! He takes the first bite but he doesn’t dare to say anything. He takes a bite of something else and she asks how it is. He says that it’s delicious. She tells him to be honest with her, so he takes another bite and says it’s good. She makes him look at her and says things can only improve if a customer gives good feedback. She asks him, honestly, how is it? He says that all the food is a bit too salty. She asks if that’s all. He then tells her about the clams (has sand), pork belly (a bit of a fishy smell), the vegetables are overcooked, and the rice is undercooked.

He still needs to try the rest of it. She just gives him a small smile. He says it’ll all taste delicious. She asks what’s left to taste and asks about the water. He apologizes and says he’s used to giving honest feedback due to his job. She did ask for him to be honest! He then says he’s going to use the restroom. She mutters that he really didn’t hold back - is he her boyfriend or a Michelin judge? She then tastes some of her food and realizes that he isn’t wrong. Can’t have it both ways, woman!

When Ha Ri finds out that Young Seo is dating Sung Hoon, she congratulates her. Young Seo says she’s not sure if she should be congratulated. She admits that she cooked a meal for someone for the first time in her life, and he didn’t like it. She then complains about Tae Moo calling Sung Hoon during their movie date, which made him disappear for over 30 minutes. Ha Ri says that Tae Moo probably didn’t even know that they were on a date. Young Seo is suspicious and asks if they were just on a date. She denies it was a date but admits they ate together. Her friend says it was a date if they’re eating together.

Sung Hoon takes Young Seo hiking but she's not wearing the right footwear as she's in heels. He says he’s prepared something for her and brings her a pair of hiking shoes. So she’s forced to join him on this mountain hike. lol When they take a break, they end up arguing about Tae Moo. She thinks he’s being mean to Ha Ri for deceiving him. Sung Hoon says that she’s in the wrong, too, as she was the one who sent Ha Ri is her place. Uh oh. She gets angry that he’s scolding her for not going on that blind date, complaining about her salty food, inability to focus on the movie, and now he’s taking Tae Moo’s side. She refuses to climb up the rest of the way with him and just walks away angrily.

A more relaxed-looking Tae Moo (without his usual severe presidential look, he is sort of cute) has Ha Ri meet him at the amusement park to repay him for the kiss. She says that she doesn’t think there’s anything good to eat around here. He says forget about eating, and just spend the day with him as payment. He repeats that she said he shouldn’t make a commoner pay for an expensive meal, so he’ll buy her time instead.

They’re having fun driving bumper cars but then he looks a bit scared on the merry-go-round. Haha. Later she puts on a tiger paws headband and puts a pink bow one on Tae Moo, who looks quite adorable in it. Hehe. Later she offers to get him food. He tells her to spend time with him, and he’ll spend his money on food. She insists so he asks for a corn dog. He admits that he ate this with his parents when he was seven. And whenever he thinks of it, he comes by to eat it by himself sometimes. She says that it must be associated with happy memories and it tastes even better then. For her, gimbap reminds her of field trips. They're interrupted by Ha Ri's phone.

Young Seo gets lost in the woods and luckily, Sung Hoon finds her but she gets even more upset when he tells her that they should have turned left but she had turned right. She walks off in a huff but then slips and sprains her ankle. He offers to piggyback her all the way down the mountain. They get to a bench along the path, and he checks on her ankle. He asks if she’s still mad, and then he says that he’ll try his best to make sure to never upset her like that again. He asks her to forgive him this once - She interrupts him to say that she stopped being mad at him a while ago. She had been complaining the entire way and he hadn’t said a single thing as he was carrying her. She says that she just fell for him again, as it seems that he’s a real tough guy. She then tells him they should hurry home - and then she whispers - to spend a steamy night together. She then kisses him and he responds with a cough. He says they should go to the hospital first. Health >> Carnal desires. Ha!

Ha Ri rushes to the hospital to see her mother, who only had a minor burn. But it’s her father who is laid up with acute appendicitis. Tae Moo has requested that her father be placed in a VIP room. Ha Ri is shocked to see him and introduces him as someone on her team at work, a supervisor, when he tries to say that he’s the president. But they assume he’s Gye Bin. Her annoying colleague. lol As Ha Ri had used the excuse that she’d been working today, her mother mentions Ha Ri’s been complaining about her increased workload after the new president came onboard. Bwahaha.

Min Woo is helping at the chicken shop, but cuts himself. So Ha Min sends him to Ha Ri’s room to get the ointment. While he's searching, he ends up finding her relationship contract with Tae Moo. Excuse me, but isn’t it with Shin Geum Hui?? Later, Tae Moo is arguing with Ha Ri about paying him back, especially as he’s the mean boss. He tells her if she doesn’t have money to pay him back, then pay him back with a kiss. Min Woo arrives to overhear this part and just runs up and punches Tae Moo on the mouth. Ha Ri is shocked. Min Woo tells him to stop hanging around Ha Ri and to get lost. Tae Moo says that he should be the one saying that and goes to punch him but Ha Ri stops him and takes Min Woo away with her. She tells Tae Moo that they’ll talk tomorrow.

Min Woo shoves the contract at her and asks if he threatened her for their “relationship”. He says she should have told him. She looks at him and asks why she should have told him as it’s really none of his business. It really is none of his business! She tells him when he sees Tae Moo again, he needs to give him a formal apology. He asks if she actually likes Tae Moo. He goes on to say he’s just using her. She interrupts and tells him to stop talking about him like that as he doesn’t deserve it. He tells her that she knows that this won’t work out between them. She replies that it’s late and she needs to get going. She returns home and texts Tae Moo: “Thank you for today. I’ll pay you back for the hospital bill as soon as I get paid.”

Go Food has a team building event today. While they’re playing a game of dodgeball, Ha Ri ends up trying to dodge a ball and lands incorrectly on her hand. The prize for MVP is a one-on-one dinner date with President Kang.

Tae Moo finds out that Sung Hoon is dating Young Seo. He's a bit mad, but not that Sung Hoon is dating her, but the fact that he didn’t tell him sooner. Grandpa is waiting in Tae Moo’s office to get him to go on a blind date today. It’s a date with Jo Yoo Jung - Young Seo’s annoying cousin. Konglish Queen is back!

At the event, all the women are talking about being the MVP so they can go on this date with the president. Ha Ri is thinking about their kiss, and their recent dates. She’s injured but insists on playing. He’s been trying to get her to really date him but she wants this silly business date! She wins for her team and is announced as the MVP. Then she finds out that Tae Moo isn’t here, as he's actually on a blind date at some hotel.

Afterwards, she's thinking about and suddenly she’s no longer able to wait idly for the bus. She catches a taxi to go to the hotel, and calls him on her way. She tells him to get out of there, now. Tae Moo asks if she even knows where he is, to tell him that. She says he’s at that hotel. She asks him how he could do something like that? He made her fall for him and now he’s going on a blind date. He asks if she knows where he is. She knows. She then admits that she had been waiting for his text all day. He only smiles at this. She goes on to say that she wondered all day long about when he was coming by. Then she was going crazy thinking about him eating dinner with another woman. She asks how he can do that? She says, “From now on, I’m not going to care about what other people think, and just think about the two of us. So…don’t go on that blind date, Mr. Kang.” O_O He remains silent and only smiles. She asks why he isn’t saying anything. She says he doesn’t even want to talk to her now, is that it? He replies no, he just likes that she’s acting jealous. He asks why would he go on a blind date with another woman. He then admits that he’s in front of her house. He was going to ask her out again today.

They’re both stuck in traffic, and end up walking and meeting on a pedestrian bridge. When he sees her, he tells her if she comes any closer, he’s never going to let her go again. She just smiles and walks towards him. He asks that she won’t say this is a mistake, too, right? She replies that she’ll pay him back for that kiss with another kiss. Then she pulls on his coat and they kiss. Our main couple is finally here!

[Ep9] Sung Hoon is actually on that blind date with Jo Yoo Jung. He informs her that he’s Tae Moo’s secretary and that President Kang has someone else that he wishes to marry. So he’s here instead since this meeting couldn’t go on as planned. He then apologizes sincerely on President Kang's behalf.

The next morning, Tae Moo calls Ha Ri to tell her that he missed her. He’s already outside her house and hoping they'll go on a date before work. She replies that she’ll need time to get ready. He tells her to take her time. Then he says that he can’t wait to see her. She’s wondering if she should hurry or take her time. Ppalli! :) He takes her to breakfast at some restaurant that isn’t even open yet. He says he wanted to have breakfast with her before he left for an overseas business trip. He then goes to cook breakfast for her. When it lands on the table, she can’t help but want to take pictures of it.

KTM: What about me? I’m the one who did all the work. With this cute little smile! She just looks at him and bites her lip. But she just looks at her phone and continues taking pictures of the food. Then she knocks down her silverware. He gets up from his to pick it off the floor for her.

SHR: Sorry.

KTM (looking intently at her shoes): Why this… Your shoes…?

SHR: What about my shoes? She looks down. Ohh! She covers her mouth in shock.

KTM laughing: You missed me so much that you didn’t know you put on mismatched shoes?

SHR: Wait… Why did I -

KTM (looking at her ears): Wait, your earrings are…

SHR: They’re two different earrings? She now covers her ears with her hands.

KTM: No, they’re pretty. Ha!

SHR: Are you having fun teasing me?

KTM smiling: Yes.

SHR: Fine. I was so nervous that I put on two different shoes. And I don’t even know if I can digest this food. I don’t usually get this nervous. Why am I being so nervous? I look so stupid, don’t I?

KTM: You keep cheating.

SHR: What do you mean, cheating?

KTM: My heart just skipped a beat because you’re so cute! Now her heart is beating oh so loudly. She then covers her face with her hands. What - what are you doing?

SHR: My face is getting a bit red right now, right? Can you not look at me? I’m embarrassed. She slowly drops her hands and he just smiles at her.

Afterwards, he offers to take her to work but she asks for them to go separately so they’re not seen together. She kisses him on the cheek before she leaves for the bus. She tells him that this was the most wonderful morning of her life and then she runs away in her mismatched shoes. In a roundabout way, Tae Moo tells Sung Hoon that he’s dating Ha Ri as he asks him to get his girlfriend a pair of shoes. lol When they're delivered to the lab, her colleagues are clamoring to know all about it. She plays it off that the heels are only from Young Seo.

Sung Hoon is receiving text messages from Jo Yoo Jung, who knows that he has a girlfriend but just doesn’t care as she’s infatuated with him. Young Seo doesn’t know about this yet. Uh oh. Meanwhile, Jo Yoo Jung’s mother tells Grandpa that Jo Yoo Jung is dating Tae Moo! OMG. This mess! Later, a drunk Jo Yoo Jung shows up outside Sung Hoon’s place. And when he lets her use his bathroom, of course Young Seo pops by. He uses the excuse that he’s taking care of Tae Moo. Dude, it’s never a good idea to let a drunk woman (stranger) in your place and then lie to your girlfriend about it!

Tae Moo goes to dinner with Ha Ri at a snack bar filled with students. He owes her a dinner from when she won that dodgeball game. He grumbles about this place for a date, and she says it’s not a date, it’s a dinner with President Kang. He needs to keep a low profile on their dating status at work. When the owner drops by and asks who this guy is, she admits that he’s her boyfriend. Now he’s happy.

Afterwards, the two end up on a swing set at a public playground. He mentions that he was happy when she introduced him as her boyfriend. He then gives her a sweet kiss on the swing. She then pulls him in for a deeper kiss, which leads to several more. I like how she’s always in control of how much and when. ;)

A sad Jo Yoo Jung vents to Young Seo that it’s over for her with that guy. She says that the guy kept drawing lines between them. Young Seo tells her that the Jo Yoo Jung she knows would never just give up. She admits that she fought hard to get her boyfriend and suggests she do the same. Omo, this can only get worse. lol

Yoo Ra tells Min Woo that her parents want to see him, and she thinks it’s time for them to get married. He tells her to put off that meeting as he’s not ready for that. The end?

Jo Yoo Jung shows up at work to apologize to Sung Hoon, and Tae Moo has to keep her from approaching him. She admits she fell in love at first sight with Sung Hoon. Grandpa overhears this. Uh oh. Jo Yoo Jung runs away while Grandpa starts trying to beat Tae Moo with his cane. Grandpa asks who the woman is that he’s actually seeing as he’s heard him on the phone every night. Luckily, he’s saved from answering as Grandpa has stomach problems and needs to find a bathroom.

Gye Bin accidentally sends a text intended for Ms. Yeo calling her jagiya, via group text, which reveals that the two are dating. Hye Ji wants to know how long they’ve been dating. After their last field day, the two had gone for drinks and he had overheard her phone call about going on blind date. This whole time he’s been pretending to not like chicken gizzards and spicy marinated crabs, just so he could give them to her. He had then asked her to not go on the blind date. The bickering twosome are our third couple. Ha.

Tae Moo ends up going to a very awkward dinner with Ha Ri and her co-workers. Ha Ri texts Tae Moo to leave as he’s making everyone uncomfortable. Hye Ji suggests that they do bomb shots to break the tension. Gye Bin makes a spectacle of himself to make this drink. XD

Sung Hoon asks Young Seo to join him for dinner, but it’s really to meet his mother, the nun. However, Young Seo has brought her upset cousin to this dinner. When Jo Yoo Jung meets her boyfriend, they soon realize that they’ve been talking about the same guy. Young Seo leaves angrily as she realizes her cousin was the one inside his place the other night. She tells him that he should have told her the truth to begin with - and should not have gone on that blind date.

Ha Ri’s co-workers are all quite drunk now. Then Hye Ji catches Tae Moo holding Ha Ri’s hand under the table. They quickly separate and act like she was imagining things, as she’s just too drunk. Hye Ji then blurts out that Ms. Yeo and Gye Bin are dating, which they both quickly deny as well. Ha Ri suggests that they call it a night. Ms. Yeo and Gye Bin walk away with a drunk Hye Ji. Once they're out of sight, Tae Moo asks Ha Ri to go on a walk.

[Ep10] Lo and behold, Grandpa catches them together and demands an answer from Ha Ri as to why the two of them are alone together. Luckily, Ha Ri’s co-workers return to get the very drunk Hye Ji’s cellphone from inside which saves her from having to answer him. Grandpa now assumes this was actually a team dinner. Ha Ri says good night and quickly walks away. Back at home, Grandpa still wants to know who the secret woman is.

Young Seo has another visitor in her apartment - a cockroach - and Ha Ri has to come help her get rid of it. Ha Ri teases her for not asking her boyfriend, and Young Seo tells her about what happened. They leave to get some mandu but they happen to see Tae Moo and Sung Hoon getting into Tae Moo's car. Young Seo insists on following them and they all end up at the True Light Orphanage.

To her surprise, Young Seo meets Sung Hoon’s mother. It dawns on her that’s who Sung Hoon wanted her to meet the other day. His mother tells her that Sung Hoon had arrived at the orphanage when he was five years old. Tae Moo’s parents had supported the orphanage for a long time until their passing. Young Seo ask for a picture of him as a kid. Tae Moo tells Ha Ri that Sung Hoon came to live at his house when he started middle school. So they’re practically brothers. :)

Afterwards, Sung Hoon apologizes to Young Seo about not telling her everything. She tells him that she’s in debt, and her parents are divorced but she only knows that her mother went to Germany but not how she’s doing or what she’s doing. There’s still so much that she hasn’t told him about but one day, they’ll be able to tell each other everything with time. She tells him that he shouldn’t be sorry for not telling her sooner, but for making her meet his mother like this. She then points to her casual clothes. He smiles at her and holds her hand and sweetly says that she’s pretty, the prettiest in the world. Aww, they've made up.

While Ha Ri’s parents are away for a funeral, the chicken shop is closed. Ha Min disappears with the money from the till to go hang out with his friends. Our foursome end up returning to the shop and get stuck making fried chicken for a large group of female hikers. Later, Tae Moo apologizes to Young Seo for sending Sung Hoon to the blind date. She asks for a bribe to show his sincerity. lol She would. He gives her a video of a sad and very drunk Sung Hoon saying how much he missed her. On another day, when Sung Hoon catches her watching this, he wants her to delete it, but she won’t because it’s so cute. It is!

Instead of staying away overnight, Ha Ri’s parents return unexpectedly. Tae Moo ends up hiding in Ha Ri’s room while Young Seo quickly introduces Ha Ri’s parents to her boyfriend, Sung Hoon. The parents decide that they want to continue drinking but Dad has stored a special bottle of alcohol in Ha Ri’s room. Luckily, Tae Moo is hiding in her closet. Eventually, Tae Moo really needs to leave, so Young Seo and Sung Hoon distract the parents long enough to let Tae Moo and Ha Ri slip by. The very best friends! But then outside, right by his car, Ha Min catches them together. Tae Moo nips it in the bud and just introduces himself as Kang Tae Moo, the President of Go Food, Ha Ri’s boyfriend. Now the two siblings have leverage on each other and will keep mum about everything that happened today. lol

Over drinks, Yoo Ra asks Ha Ri if she can get out of Min Woo’s life. She knows that Ha Ri liked Min Woo seven years ago but Ha Ri had backed off when Yoo Ra expressed interest. Now Yoo Ra admits that she wasn't interested in him at first, but she also didn't want to give him to Ha Ri. This woman disgusts me. Seriously. She then asks Ha Ri why she never said anything to him about when she cheated on Min Woo back then. If she had, then Ha Ri would be dating Min Woo by now. Ha Ri says she never told him because it was too cruel as he'd already lost his whole world when Yoo Ra left. She then admits that right now, she regrets it. She should have told him then. She turns to leave and both women wince at the sight of Min Woo, who just overheard their conversation. Ha Ri doesn't say anything but leaves restaurant and he runs after her. Outside, he grabs her arm to stop her and asks her what she meant just now. She tells him that he's making a mistake and shouldn't be doing this to her and Yoo Ra. She then looks pointedly at his hand on her arm. He drops his hand and apologizes to her. She suggests that he needs to go apologize to Yoo Ra. She tells him seeing him this way makes her realize why Yoo Ra is behaving like this. She then walks away.

On Ha Ri and Tae Moo's next date, it starts raining and she has an umbrella ready for them. Instead of driving, they then ride the subway to their destination. He admits it’s his first time on the subway. She then takes them to a flower shop, and he gets her this huge bouquet of pink and white flowers. They finally end up at a restaurant for jeon (fritters) which she says is the perfect food for gloomy rainy days like today. He then leaves to take a call but it starts raining again. Earlier in the day, Ha Ri had overheard some employees talking about Tae Moo witnessing his parents’ car accident in the rain, which is why he can’t even drive in the rain. She’s been protecting him this whole time. When he returns from his call, she has moved to sit in the chair next to his, so she’s blocking the window from his view. Tae Moo has already noticed that she’s been shielding him from the rain tonight. He suddenly kisses her at the table.

On their walk back, he asks her how long she’s known. She doesn’t say anything. He admits that he’s the one who’s been lacking courage to tell her. She apologizes for hurting his feelings by pretending she didn’t know. He says that’s not it - he was thinking about how to not seem too pathetic in front of the woman he likes. He starts to tell her but she shakes her head at him and just hugs him to comfort him. They split up for the night as she says that she’s meeting Young Seo.

She is actually meeting Grandpa who calls her Shin Geum Hui and then Shin Ha Ri. He shows her a picture of her with Tae Moo. He wants to know what her deal is and why she approached him. Meanwhile, Tae Moo finds out about this meeting and ends up in a car accident in his rush to get to Ha Ri.

[Ep11] Ha Ri tells Grandpa the truth of how they met and what had really happened. But he doesn't let her finish telling him that they’re now a real couple. He gets up to leave and tells her to stop seeing Tae Moo. He then receives a call from Sung Hoon and leaves in a hurry.

Ha Ri follows Grandpa to the hospital. He’s now even more angry with her as he blames her for Tae Moo's accident. Tae Moo appears with an injured left arm. Grandpa asks Tae Moo about his fake relationship and Ha Ri just politely bows to Tae Moo and then turns to leave. He stops her and tells Grandpa that they’re not in a fake relationship as he holds her hand. He also admits that he loves Ha Ri.

With only the three of them in the hospital room now, Grandpa angrily yells at Sung Hoon for being in cahoots with Tae Moo to deceive him. Ha Ri left with Young Seo. Tae Moo tells him that it’s not his fault. Grandpa demands that he end things with Ha Ri. Tae Moo says he will but he shouldn’t expect to ever have any great-grandkids then. He’s never going to love another woman as much as he loves Ha Ri. He’ll devote himself to work but never get married. Grandpa objects and Tae Moo points out that he liked her when she was Geum Hui. Grandpa says everything about her is a lie, and Tae Moo replies he’s the one who made her do that as he forced her into a contractual relationship. It’s mostly his fault. He asks him to redirect his anger to him, and to cut her some slack as he genuinely likes her.

On their drive back, it starts raining again, so Ha Ri gets out of Young Seo’s car to run back to the hospital. She arrives soaking wet, and tells Grandpa that she was worried about Tae Moo. Without saying anything to her, Grandpa walks away. Sung Hoon tells her that she can go in. She goes in and finds Tae Moo standing by the window looking at the North Seoul Tower, even though it's clearly raining out.

Tae Moo tells her that his parents’ accident was caused by him. His parents had returned from a trip and they were hurrying back, in the rain, to take him to the amusement park as it was what he wanted for his birthday. He’d been in a separate car with his grandfather. His parents had died at the scene of the accident. Tae Moo admits that he can never see his parents’ faces in his dreams, and only the back of their heads. He thinks they must resent him, which is why he can’t see their faces. Ha Ri says that’s ridiculous as he had the biggest smile when he was talking about them, and she could tell how much they loved him. She teasingly asks him if he thinks she caused his recent accident then. He immediately denies this. She then says how his parents could resent him then, and they probably want him to be happy. He admits that he thought that he didn’t deserve to be and should never forgive himself. She hugs him and says that his parents want him to be happy, free from the past and live as happily as anyone else. They remain hugging and quietly crying.

Later, Ha Ri wakes up in the hospital bed with him. She carefully extricates herself from the still sleeping Tae Moo and kisses him on the cheek before she leaves. She sneaks back inside her home, but she gets caught by her mother. So she pretends that she was just leaving for work.

Rumors are circulating about Ha Ri and Min Woo due to Yoo Ra's pettiness. She’s disclosed online that Ha Ri has had a 7-year crush on Min Woo while she’s in a relationship with Tae Moo, and she's two-timing both men. Malicious much? At work, Ms. Yeo informs her that the higher-ups have put their project on hold as it has her name attached to it. It’ll be handed over to Teams 2 and 3, and instead they’ll have to help those teams now. Young Seo tells her that Grandpa asked them to keep this latest news from Tae Moo while he's still recovering.

At the hospital, Sung Hoon helps Tae Moo put on his sweater cardigan as a nurse watches them with a little smile. They both adamantly deny that this isn't what it looks like. lol She leaves and the two bicker about how they both dislike having to do this. As Sung Hoon continues helping him get dressed, and Tae Moo decides to whisper into his ear to ask about his cologne. This makes Sung Hoon jerk back and rub at his ear and demand to know why he’s whispering in his ear! He replies that it’s better than yelling. Hahaha! (~28:00) Sung Hoon tells him then he button his own sweater. Sung Hoon has also brought him some books along with the worry doll to keep him company as he recuperates.

To keep the chicken shop customers from talking about Ha Ri’s scandal in front of her parents, Young Seo buys everyone their meal. Awww, she’s so awesome! Later that evening, Ha Ri receives a call from Tae Moo calling from a payphone to remind her that she's ignoring her injured boyfriend. She apologizes for not visiting as she’s been all over the place. He tells her that he’s with a thoughtful friend who listens by his side whenever he’s feeling angry. He admits she looks a lot like her, too. She asks if she’s very pretty then. He replies that she’s quite ugly. Haha. He laughs and admits that it’s the worry doll from the concert. He also admits he feels relieved since he doesn’t have to hide their relationship from his grandfather anymore. He suggests that they get married but then the phone call ends and he’s out of coins! Such a cute payphone scene.

He returns back to his room and overhears his Grandfather saying that he’ll send him somewhere next month. Tae Moo asks if he’s doing this because of Ha Ri and is trying to separate them. Grandpa says even if he does approve of them, has he thought about how it’ll affect Ha Ri at work, as she’s an employee and will have to endure the gossip? Grandpa intends to send him to work in the U.S. for two years and if he doesn’t change his mind, then he’ll approve. Tae Moo says his feelings will never change and he doesn’t want to be away from her. He intends to marry Ha Ri. He begs him to approve their relationship.

Young Seo and Sung Hoon meet up after work and her father interrupts them. He wants to have dinner with her and her boyfriend. She’s quite worried about this dinner as her father could throw a fit. Sung Hoon sweetly tells her that this is something that they would need to do eventually. So they go to dinner. Dad asks him questions about his upbringing, his career and obligation to Kang family and Go Food. Young Seo objects and suggests they leave. Dad interrupts to say that these are things he needs to know about his potential son-in-law. She’s his only child, so he needs to know these things, as he could inherit his company some day. She’s surprised and asks if he approves of her dating Sung Hoon. Dad says if he wasn’t going to, why would they be at this dinner. Dad admits that he doesn’t want to be on bad terms with his only daughter anymore and they should try to understand each other more. He also asks if she’ll return home. She agrees but she’ll need to think about returning home.

At work, Ha Ri meets with Grandpa, who tells her to work at the distribution center in Daejeon until the scandal dies down. She says there’s nothing for her to do as a researcher there. He requests that she can resign then.

At the hospital, Tae Moo overhears the nurses talking about Ha Ri being fired for two-timing the President of Go Food. Tae Moo confronts Sung Hoon about this as he’s worried about Ha Ri suffering on her own. He then removes the bandage on his arm and leaves to look for Ha Ri. Her co-workers tell him that Grandpa asked to meet her and she hasn’t returned yet. He finds Grandpa and asks him about what he said to her. Tae Moo would rather take the responsibility and resign as CEO than allow anything to happen to Ha Ri. Ha Ri had absolutely refused to resign as she’s done a lot for the company, which has generated more sales.

Tae Moo goes to the chicken shop looking for Ha Ri. Ha Min helps him look for her. However, Tae Moo doesn’t have his phone and needs to borrow his “brother-in-law’s”. Shin parents find them and chides Tae Moo for being over 40 and trying to date their daughter. Mom starts beating him and Ha Min holds her back to let him run back to his car. Ha Min tells them that that’s not Gye Bin but the President of Go Food. Heh. Tae Moo drives away and calls Ha Ri from Ha Min’s phone but he’s still unable to reach her.

On their drive home after dinner, Young Seo manages to find a ring box in Sung Hoon’s glove box when she looks for tissues. She opens it to find a diamond ring. When she tells him “let’s get married,” he pulls the car over to park. On the sidewalk, he tells her that she’s always stealing his words. Ha! He then gets down on one knee and proposes to her! She just smiles brightly at him. Yes?? Yes!

Ha Ri finally checks her phone and realizes that Tae Moo has been looking for her. She calls him and tells him that she’s at the North Seoul Tower. He drives like a maniac to get to her. When he finds her, he hugs her and yells if she knows how worried he’s been about her. He also asks her to never disappear again without saying anything.

In a hotel room, he hugs her and then gently kisses her. Eventually, he starts slowly removing her jacket. He then backs her up against a wall and things go from sweet to very heated! The two continue kissing and then she starts unbuttoning his shirt. He then carries her into the bedroom. And once they rid him of his shirt…;) Fill in the blanks with your imagination. (57:40, two minutes of heat!) *fans self*

[Ep12] The night before, Sung Hoon had received a call from Jin Dad asking him to break up with her, which Young Seo overheard.

Shin Mom is suspicious about where Ha Ri was last night. Dad tells her that she’s not that type of girl. But then they see Tae Moo saying goodbye to Ha Ri outside their home. Mom starts yelling her daughter's full name and then charges at her as she's intent on beating her daughter. Tae Moo tries to protect her but ends up getting shoved out of the way. Now Ha Ri is mad at her mother, while her mother is barely being held back by her father. Bwahaha! (~5:34)

Afterwards, Ha Ri and Tae Moo are on their knees in front of Shin parents. Dad asks Tae Moo how he ended up dating their daughter as the President of Go Food. Tae Moo admits that he fell in love with her at first sight. He sees her as the prettiest woman, a joy to be around and she makes him laugh. Sung Hoon and Young arrive to hear this, and Young Seo is so happy for her. Dad asks how his family feels about her, and Tae Moo admits that he will get his family’s approval. He officially asks for them to approve for them to date with marriage in mind. Both Ha Min and Young Seo get excited at this. Mom tells Young Seo to be quiet or else she'll need to kneel here, too. Ha! Young Seo says that she just wants to eat without getting scolded. With a grin, Ha Min reminds Mom that it's Young Seo’s birthday. Cute save, dongsaeng!

After this meal, Sung Hoon suggests to Tae Moo to talk to Ha Ri's father. So Tae Moo talks to Shin Dad one-on-one, and they talk about Ha Ri’s dreams. Dad knows that she didn’t pursue those dreams because of their finances. Dad admits that now she’s with someone incredible like him, he’s afraid that she’ll be compared to him and judged for her simple background. Dad tearfully asks if he can ensure that Ha Ri won’t get hurt and won’t have to suffer. Tae Moo says if he says he can, then he’d be lying. He can’t stop the unwanted attention or rumors but he can promise to always be by her side and protect her. He asks Dad to trust them and to root for them. Dad smiles tearfully at this. Tae Moo returns home and tells Grandpa that he plans to marry Ha Ri as he’s just had a meeting with her parents.

At work, Tae Moo reinstates Team 1 to continue working on their project. Min Woo tells Ha Ri that he’s decided to close his restaurant and move to Europe. He’s broken up with Yoo Ra, who sends her apologies. Coward. He asks if they can go back to being close friends after his return. She says maybe with time, may they be friends again. Young Seo turns in her resignation to her father. She doesn’t want to be seen as just a possession for him. Before she leaves, she mentions that he didn’t even remember her birthday. He doesn't seem bothered or even concerned about this.

Tae Moo receives a call from Director Go that Grandpa collapsed and has been sent to the hospital. The Director doesn’t hang up the call so Tae Moo and Ha Ri overhears the two men discussing that this Grandpa’s ploy to get him to break up with Ha Ri. Why is trauma by elders always acceptable on shows? Ha Ri is relieved that he isn’t actually sick but Tae Moo knows that this can’t continue on.

Ha Ri goes to see Grandpa, and her mere presence alone enrages him. She tells him that Tae Moo is in a meeting so that’s why she’s here. Grandpa yells that she’s the reason why he collapsed. Oof. She stays attentive as she helps him get to the bathroom, even though he's quite cantankerous. Ha Ri had decided to go alone as she knew that Grandpa really liked her when she was Shin Geum Hui. She’s hoping to change his mind.

Sung Hoon makes a birthday meal for Young Seo. She takes one sip of the soup, and bursts into tears. She admits that giving her resignation to her father today, was harder than she’d thought as she knows she’ll never see her father again. He consoles her by quietly rubbing her head. Later she tells him that she’s decided to start her own company, and she’ll use her severance pay and take out loans to do so. Sung Hoon goes to grab his bank book and hands it to her. She opens it and is shocked by the balance: 1,700,600,000 won! He says that this is the money that Grandpa had given him and some of the stock he owns. He wants to be the first person to invest in her company but he wants a proper business plan first. She cutely thanks him and then gives him several little kisses all over his face. *hearteyes*

Later, Ha Ri makes Grandpa ssanghwacha and then they bond over fish. She’s done research on fish for their fish stew products and he’s caught many different ones, including sharks. He gets really enthusiastic about it until he realizes that he’s fallen for her charms again. He changes the TV channel from fish to a singing show, and he’s treated to her delightful singing. She apologizes as she's used to singing along when she watches the show with her parents. Grandpa is secretly enjoying her company though as his feet are tapping along with music under the covers.

Eventually, Tae Moo comes to the hospital and finds a glum Ha Ri. She tells him that before she’s been teased by Young Seo as the "nursing home celebrity" as she’s quite popular with the 60+ crowd, but it doesn’t seem to have worked on Grandpa. Tae Moo also finds out that Grandpa has issues with his heart stent but his body can’t handle any more surgeries.

Grandpa goes fishing and to his surprise, Tae Moo and Sung Hoon join him. Tae Moo promises to cure his illness but Grandpa says he’ll take care of his own illness. Sung Hoon tells him that he’s always been a mountain to them, so stay healthy and stay that way, Grandpa. Awww, he usually calls him Chairman Kang.

A somber Tae Moo tells Ha Ri that he’s going to have to take Grandpa to the U.S. for his heart issue as there are no other options available in Korea. He asks her to go with him and even mentions a job opportunity for her. She declines as the rumors at the company would only be worse for him, and she doesn’t want to hurt his reputation any further. He admits that he’s worried about his grandfather, as he’s already lost his parents. She consoles him by holding his hand and tells him she understands as it’s more important to consider Grandpa’s health right now.

KTM: Will we be okay away from each other?

SHR: What? Are we never going to see each other again?

KTM eyes widen: No!

SHR: Then why are you saying it like that? She looks around and gasps. But then she smiles. Other people might think we're breaking up right now. He smiles and then pulls her in for a hug.

KTM: I'll be back before you know it. He caresses her head. So wait for me here. Okay?

SHR: Okay. They continue hugging.

One year later.

At Go Food, Gye Bin is now in charge of Team 4 which includes Hye Ji. He’s married to Ms. Yeo even as they continue bickering over who has the better curry product. lol

Sung Hoon has taken a year off of work while Young Seo remains busy with work. She forgets some documents so he drops off the flash drive for her. She thanks him and then gives him a kiss. She says that she’ll see him at home before she runs off. He calls after her.

CSH: Young Seo. She turns around to look at him.

JYS: Huh?

CSH dimples at her: I love you.

JYS with a big smile: I love you, too. Then she waves before she runs off. He just smiles as he opens the car door.

They make my heart flutter!

Ha Ri has the worry dolls in her possession now. The next day, Ha Min wakes her up to tell her about Tae Moo’s newest scandal - that he’s dating a cellist. He asks if there was anything wrong between them. She replies that he was busy with work on their last call. After she makes him leave, she calls Tae Moo but he’s not answering. She then text messages him but still receives no response.

She decides to use her vacation days to go to New York. As she finishes loading her suitcase into the trunk of the taxi cab, Tae Moo steps out of the back of the cab. He’s back to surprise her and she’s initially happy until she remembers the scandal. She then starts beating on him for not answering her calls and texts. He apologizes as he only found out about it after he boarded the plane. She asks if it’s true… He tells her of course not, as the cellist is dating some international student but the family is set against it so they released some fake news. *rolling eyes*

She now asks for a hug. After this hug, he asks her to go on a walk between rows of trees with beautiful pink blossoms. Ah, CGI flowers are no fun, as zero petals land on them. lol She asks about Grandpa and he says he’ll be back next week. He tells her that Grandpa told him to not come back unless she accepted this. He then pulls out a ring box and shows her the rings inside. She stammers if he’s proposing right now. He replies that she knows he doesn’t like to waste time and he can’t be apart from her any longer, so let’s get married. She tells him that they’ll see about it but she hugs him. He tells her that it’ll be her loss if she plays hard to get. She knows that he’s good at a lot of different things right? She just laughs. She then offers her hand to him and slides the ring onto her left ring finger. To seal the deal, our couple kiss. The kiss ends and our couple continue walking in the park.

KTM sighing happily: That took a while.

SHR laughing: I didn't say yes yet...

KTM: You put the ring on. That means yes.

SHR: Hey, I told you we'll see about that. She chortles. Tell me that you love me.

KTM: What?? She laughs heartily at this.

SHR: Be good to me, okay? And they continue walking.

[First Impression (Ep1-2)] It sure is entertaining watching Ha Ri lie her way out of dating Tae Moo but somehow it backfires. BTW, I’ve never been more grateful for copy and paste until now - archaeopteryx ← Never going to remember how to spell this - and I don’t want to! TBH, I’m more interested in Young Seo and Sung Hoon.

[Actors/Actresses] Kim Se Jeong (Shin Ha Ri) is a joy to watch as she’s got this enchanting smile, and you can tell that some of her real personality is embodied in this character. I appreciate that Ha Ri's parents are the same mismatched couple (secondary characters) from The Undateables. (That series just follows me…) This is my first time watching Seol In Ah (Jin Young Seo), who is sassy, pretty, and hilarious. The girls’ drunk scene is epic - it's a trainwreck that you can’t help but keep watching and laughing at. I love their friendship!

If Ahn Hyo Seop doesn’t do it for you (me neither), then maybe Kim Min Gue as Cha Sung Hoon will keep you in the series. He has this boy-next-door and bodyguard appeal. Yeah, that’s a fairly lethal combo, and I can totally see why Jin Young Seo wants to pursue him… I truly love the women (our besties) in this!

[Behind the Scenes] What a fun cast!

Ep6. Kim Se Jeong, the adlib queen, who really beats up Ahn Hyo Seop at the movies. Ha! She seriously slaps him several times as she can’t see behind her. Hahaha.

Ep7. Young Seo and Sung Hoon's glasses kiss. It turns out that Kim Min Gue had only removed his glasses because they were uncomfortable. Ha! It's just sexy... ;)

Ep9. No BTS involved. Just one of my favorite Jo Yoo Jung's Konglish scenes. You know I have no chingus! lol
