[Ep1] Preface: 4.6 billion years a Big Bang created two planets. This other planet is populated by cat-kinds who can take the form of humans in "our" planet. This is an ancient secret.

Chi Yan is a bookstore owner who prefers animals over humans. He saves an injured cat. The next morning, a naked lady is walking around in his home who's not at all aware of the idea of being naked. She's more amazed at her two feet (instead of four paws). Chi Yan slips his shirt on her with minimal body or eye contact. To cover himself, he puts on an apron. The image: a girl in only a T-shirt and a guy naked under an apron – both are now half-naked.
Then a friend, Xu Zi Hao, opens the door that's obviously not locked and walks in right when Chi Yan accidentally falls over the half-naked girl in the image I described. Xu Zi Hao excuses himself but his dog, Nietzsche, is triggered. So is the lady. They fight (like cat and dog). Chi Yan holds her down to keep her from going feral. Chi Yan begs Xu Zi Hao to help him get rid of the girl and so Xu Zi Hao takes the lady to the hospital he works at (he's a veterinarian) to treat her leg wound. Getting her to wear her pants without looking like a pervert was a struggle but the biggest struggle of all is when she frees all the animals in the cages.
Then Cat-Girl runs away and meets a fellow Cat-Grandpa who teaches her to speak Human. She's unable to return to Meow Planet because she owes a human a favour – the bracelet on her is proof. Cats do not owe humans. She finds Chi Yan and transforms into a cat in front of him to convince him that he needs to make a wish. Chi Yan tries calling the police but they hang up on him. Without a choice, he returns home, and she's already there waiting for him. She climbs over him like a cat, asking him what his heart desires. Frazzled, he makes a wish: to be rich overnight. Cat-Girl nods, places their heads together and mindfully chants. Money is floating in the air...
[Ep2] The money disappears. None of Chi Yan's wishes substantiates because he doesn't actually have a desire. Unable to leave, Cat-Girl stays at his place and plays around with his book, eventually turning it into shreds (Chi Yan writes novels, those were probably his rough ideas). Chi Yan drags her out and shuts the door on her but soon he takes pity upon her as she did try to fix the book, and so he lets her "temporarily stay".
A student, Qin Liang Liang enters the bookstore. Our Cat-Girl casually introduces herself as "Bigili Bagilibu." LOL. Haha. Chi Yan's expression is hilarious too. Our girl needs a simpler name. For an idea, she asks for his name. When she hears it's "Chi Yan" she thinks it sounds like "Eating Salt" and now, finally, everything makes sense. His face is stinky like salted fish (dead corpse) because he ate too much salt. The next morning, she has a new name for herself. Take a deep breath, guys.

Cat-Girl looks like she had name-gasm. Chi Yan sighs that it's too long. How could that be? She already deleted a lot, pft. She also wants Chi Yan to repeat it. Hahaha. He actually does a decent job, he's only messing up Mouse Buster as Mouse Guardian.
Her name aside, our Cat-Girl hasn't forgotten her mission. She needs to satisfy Chi Yan's heart desires and since he doesn't have one, she'll make one. She thinks He Meng, the flower store owner, is the perfect girl for Chi Yan and so she locks them up in a tight room together. Chi Yan is furious and leaves through the window. He rounds right back into the house to chase down Cat-Girl but she runs through the storage and out the same window. It's a game of cat and mouse and our Cat-Girl is clearly the mouse and Chi Yan is the Mouse Buster.
Second Couple: Xu Zi Hao's girlfriend forces him to take antiemtics. They've been dating for three years and their marriage plans have been on hold because of him. She wants to go to X country to take her wedding photoshoots and X place for her honeymoon. I assume Xu Zi Hao can't take the plane? This is the reason she can't marry him? Because she can't have her grandiose marriage? Then Xu Zi Hao falls in love at first sight with Qin Ming Ming (Qin Liang Liang's sister) who arrests him for accessory to robbery.
[Ep3] Xu Zi Hao gets his way onto Qin Ming Ming's motorbike despite all her attempts at rejecting him. Well, now she dumps him in this stranded place. He calls Chi Yan to rescue him. Chi Yan was going to drive alone but shall I call her Moonlight? Cat Guardian? Valerie? Valerie dubiously glances at his big goldfish, and so Chi Yan brings Valerie along. Oh yes, about Chi Yan's driving: he's barely reaching the speed limit. Does he have a trauma? Or he's just bad for no reason.
Valerie almost drowns. It was a failed attempt at making Chi Yan wish for something. Chi Yan lectures her but he's actually worried for her safety. Sighing, he tells her to take a shower. But she's afraid of water after almost drowning. Chi Yan tempts her with cat toys, and that does the trick. She's happily bathing.
Chi Yan gives our Moonlight Valentine Buster Guardian a name! It's Xiao Xiu. There's a meaning to it. The three major shipwrecks in history all had survivors of the same name: Hugh Williams and therefore Xiu. Don't question it.
Xiao Xiu has a taste of alcohol. She's a little tipsy and her cat ears and tails take form. Others think they're cute accessories. Chi Yan worries for her when she's still not home. He heads out to search.
[Ep4] Chi Yan finds Xiao Xiu before the men at the bar do. Her cat ears appearing is a form of allergic reaction to the alcohol.
Qin Liang Liang is bullied. Xiao Xiu and Chi Yan save him. Qin Ming Ming thanks them and it turns out she and Chi Yan are high school alumni. At home, Qin Ming Ming has a present ready for Qin Liang Liang: a golden retriever. She's afraid of dogs but for her brother, she'll face her fear.
Xiao Xiu thinks Chi Yan's wish is to keep his bookstore running. She brainstorms ideas to keep the money flowing and somehow her turning into a cat who can count money turns the internet into a frenzy. The bookstore skyrockets in popularity.
[Ep5] Chi Yan doesn't want a stampede in his bookstore. He shoos everyone away. Xiao Xiu seeks a new job to earn money. She's so gullible, she's scammed here and there. Lin Mo, this weird man, also steals her job. Is he a cat-man? Looking for a cat-girl?
Second Couple: Qin Ming Ming and Xu Zi Hao come to a truce when they realize they're both friends with Chi Yan. Their families even set them up on a blinddate. He still likes her and she, clearly, still doesn't like him.
[Ep6] Chi Yan takes Xiao Xiu shopping for clothes because this whole time she was wearing his. He bumps into his mother. She calls him "Xiao Yi" and asks if he graduated yet. The man is 26. These two obviously have not kept in contact. She doesn't even know her son's name. The name she's referring to might be "Yan Yi", the pen name he shares with Zhang Yi. Chi Yan is the one writing it but since he doesn't like promoting it, Zhang Yi takes that role. Mom might also be mistaking her biological son, Chi Yan, for "Zhang Yi ", her stepson.
Zhang Yi is now completely taking over Yan Yi's name. He claims to the press that he's the sole writer. And yet he also wants to continue the parasitic partnership with Chi Yan because Zhang Yi obviously has the upper hand. Obviously. Without Zhang Yi, how can the book even sell? Is he dumb?
Chi Yan buys Xiao Xiu her first phone. She can't stop calling him when she's right next to him. I wonder why he sticks to a flip phone.
[Ep7] Mom begs Chi Yan to work with Zhang Yi for her sake so that her rich life in Zhang Family is easier. No can do. Is her brain functioning? Or should I ask, is it even there?
Cat-Grandpa has just taught Xiao Xiu about friendship. She's drunk and happy as she declares to Chi Yan that they're now friends because she values him. She wants to perform a rite for their friendship. Humans don't do that. But cats do! She rubs him with her head. This doesn't feel right for Chi Yan; he pushes her head away and tells her to take out her paws. He's giving her a pinky promise and tells her that this is the rite for friendship. He also wants her to promise to never drink alone. She has a promise she wants from him too: he can't be sad alone; he has to tell her. They promise.
[Ep8] Chi Yan visits his hometown for his teacher's funeral. This is the teacher who supported him throughout high school when he was bullied. Xiao Xiu tells Chi Yan she lost someone important to her too: her sister. In human age, she died at 28. No one in her family mentions her death/disappearance as if not mentioning means it never happened. But is that really the way to heal from the loss? Chi Yan agrees with her. Through this conversation, Chi Yan realizes he does have a wish: to bring back the people he loves. There's pain in Xiao Xiu's eyes. She can't undo death. (Also, cats die in a different way: instead of being buried or turning to ashes, their bodies lighten and glow gold until it reaches the sky to become a star. Show, why so ominous?)
Animation time: A black cat asks a Cat-Guru if it can take human form without the bracelet. Yes. There's a potion for it but if it's taken for a prolonged period, the cat will lose it's cat-ness and its life will shorten.
Chi Yan tells Xiao Xiu a story of a cat he took care of during high school but everyone accused him of killing the cat. The cat was snowy white just like Xiao Xiu. Her sister? From then on, students bullied Chi Yan, lumping all his characteristics of writing and being an introvert with being a cat killer. This is the reason he refuses to promote his own books. He's traumatized. He prefers writing in seclusion without the attention.
There's a thunderstorm and Xiao Xiu snuggles in with Chi Yan because she's scared. When her cat ears pop out, he takes pity on her and hugs her to sleep like she's a cat (because she is a cat). Xiao Xiu is tickled with warmth. The cat ears probably remind him she's not a woman and, well, that's the only way Chi Yan is even willing to approach another being.
[Ep9] It's confirmed, Lin Mo is a Cat who relies on potion to keep his human form. He sneaked into Chi Yan's home with a knife to kill Chi Yan but seeing him and Xiao Xiu (without cat ears) snuggling together, he leaves in a state of fury.
Lin Mo makes a second attempt. This time Xiao Xiu protects Chi Yan from the pot falling on his head. Now there’s a laceration on her leg. Chi Yan takes her to the hospital. She needs stitching but she's allergic to anesthetics. Ow. Chi Yan holds her hand to comfort her to trust the doctor (Dr. Luo). Our cat, Xiao Xiu, only believes in Chi Yan's words. She'll let the doctor stitch her up. Cat or not, no anesthetics for stitching...O:. Chi Yan is feeling her pain the entire time.
Xu Zi Hao tells Xiao Xiu that he's never seen Chi Yan so worried. Xiao Xiu smirks. After all, she is the hero who saved the beauty. Xu Zi Hao is baffled that she called Chi Yan a beauty. Chi Yan overhears and smiles.
Xiao Xiu is certain Zhang Yi is the pot-pusher but Chi Yan says they don't (even) have evidence this was done by a man. Qin Ming Ming will help them find evidence. For the time being, she asks Xiao Xiu if she needs help with daily activities like showering. Nope. Which actually sounds pretty awkward because who else would help her? Then more details leak that she's the one taking the sofa. Qin Ming Ming is shocked. Why is Xiao Xiu settling for a man like this? Xiao Xiu whimpers that she doesn't want to! Something happened between them and she can't leave him now. Chi Yan hides his face in his hands, mortified at the way it sounds, ha.
Lin Mo is here to pick up Xiao Xiu for work related matters (they're having lunch...). Chi Yan is jealous but still, when she opens her arms for him to lift her down the stairs, he's obedient. Skinship is so natural ~ The whole day she's gone, he's grumpy.
[Ep10] Xiao Xiu is back from her business (date) with Lin Mo. Lin Mo wanted to carry her up the stairs but Chi Yan slipped his hand under Lin Mo's hand to steal the job. The men engage in a hand-slapping battle. The winner: Chi Yan.
Chi Yan has writer's block and joins Xiao Xiu in the living room. They're watching The Little Mermaid and he tells her it's a sad ending. She asks him what it means to like and to love. She also wonders, "Do you like me?" Flustered, Chi Yan runs away without properly answering her.
Xiao Xiu introduces Chi Yan to Cat-Grandpa (as a cat-man). Turns out Cat-Grandpa and Chi Yan's grandfather are acquaintances. The three of them go fishing. Xiao Xiu is a little too excited and jumps around which exposes her lie: her leg is healed. Actually, Chi Yan knew. He allowed her to take advantage of him. He says it's for saving him and ... because he likes carrying her? :D he doesn't finish his sentence because he's shy of something.
Our smart, smart Zhang Yi hosts his book signing event at Chi Yan's book store. He almost self-discloses he's not the writer when he can't answer book related questions when Chi Yan can. Lin Mo also mingles into the event by getting the bar to sponsor drinks for the event. His goal: poison Chi Yan. But then Zhang Yi takes the drink and he's sent to the ER. That's why you don't take people's stuff, man. Mom starts hitting her Chi Yan because she believes Chi Yan (biological son) poisoned Zhang Yi (stepson). Xiao Xiu stands between them, hugging Chi Yan, to take his hits. Qin Ming Ming intercepts as well.
Qin Ming Ming apologizes to Chi Yan for being a bystander back when Chi Yan was bullied in high school. She won't be a bystander anymore. She wants to help him uncover the truth. So will Xiao Xiu and Xu Zi Hao.
[Ep11] Chi Yan’s mother visits him. They speak in her car. She tells him, "Son you are born with skill and intellect. You are lucky.” Lady, you don’t think he worked hard for this?
Mom: Jiang Yi has a writer dream too. If you don’t help him, at least don’t block him. What. Lady, get out. I know this is your car, but get out.Chi Yan: So you still think I ruined your life and Jiang Yi's dream?Mom: Chi Yan, let’s not deliberate on this. She thinks that he ruined her life?? I know I’m not a good mother, I apologize for that but as long as you can let go of Jiang Yi, I can make it up to you. Tell me, how much money you want.
Chi Yan gives a random number. Mom promises to wire it.
Chi Yan leaves in the rain, ignoring Xiao Xiu who's following him. Her instincts tell her so. If he’s going to be drenched in the rain, she will too. Chi Yan is crying in the rain, and desperate to be alone, but he goes back to her because he can’t bear it that she’s wet too.
Chi Yan cries and hollers: I’m used to it – used to being alone. I’m used to the fact that not all mothers love their child.
Xiao Xiu counters. He’s not alone. She’s here. She is his armour. She warms up her hands to caress his neck and face. He rubs his cheeks in her hand, yearning to feel her warmth.
The next day, Chi Yan donates all the money his mother gave him to support single-dads. Even if he’s poor, he’s not keeping an ounce of it.
Chi Yan tells Xiao Xiu they can’t sleep together anymore. She whimpers that there was another thunderstorm last night. That’s not quite the issue. Chi Yan likes Xiao Xiu as a woman. Chi Yan plays kendo to tire himself out. He returns home drunk. Xiao XIu struggles to change him into sleeping clothes and amidst all the struggle, she accidentally kisses him. She also can’t change his pants. Ah, she understands being naked now.
Xiao Xiu realizes she likes Chi Yan because she wants to share everything interesting and beautiful with him. She confesses her love but he’s dead asleep.

Second Couple: Qin Ming Ming twists her leg but where she fell are tons of frogs. Xu Zi Hao has a fear of frogs. This guy has quite a few problems, lol. He piggybacks her and she covers his eyes. It’s cute how he’s her legs and she’s his eyes. It’s not very cute when Xu Zi Hao finds out Qin Ming Ming likes Chi Yan.
Dr. Luo is exuding more creepy vibes. There are signs he’s the one who killed the cat back in high school. He’s also very curious about the famous cat who worked at Chi Yan’s store. Conveniently, with his appearance, there’s a cat killer on the loose.
Xiao Xiu is against Qin Ming Ming liking her Chi Yan. Our kitty can’t stand sharing her love. Chi Yan laughs at Xiao Xiu when he finds out how jealous she is. It's not a laughing matter; our cat whines that he can’t like Qin Ming Ming. He’s like Okay. She’s surprised he’s so obedient. She then confesses her love again telling him this is her second time. He apologizes. He doesn’t want to think about love. It’s a lie. He likes her. Her braveness, her sunniness and her brightness energizes him but he knows she doesn’t belong in his world.
[Ep13] With the uptick of cats being murdered, Chi Yan is worried for Xiao Xiu's safety. He wants her to go back to Meow Planet and makes that exact wish. Xiao Xiu butts their heads together to grant his wish but her bracelet remains inactive. She smiles because that means he doesn't want her to leave. She knows he's lying about his love towards her. To punish him for lying she bonks their foreheads.
Xiao Xiu accidentally drinks and turns into a cat. Then she's cat-napped by a professional cat-napper. She manages to escape in human form once the alcohol evaporates from her system. Somehow she ends up on a boat in the middle of some body of water. Meanwhile Chi Yan is desperately searching for her. A boat driver is willing to ship him in the middle of the night because of Chi Yan's sincerity. When Chi Yan finds Xiao Xiu, he runs towards her like she means everything to him. She runs with her arms outstretched too, yearning to reach him faster.
Chi Yan promises to be with her everyday. He promises to protect her. He confesses "I like you." Shyly, he kisses her. Xiao Xiu doesn't know how to reciprocate but she smiles. She's not used to the human way of kissing~ He refused her love because he didn't want to be greedy. He thought having her around was enough but after almost losing her, he realizes he can't be so cowardly and selfish anymore. He can't deny his feelings for her. He should be more courageous. He should look at his world with more colours. He thanks her for making him braver. Xiao Xiu pulls him in for a hug and scratches the hair behind his ear.
[Ep14] Being in love inspires Chi Yan to write a love story with Xiao Xiu as the model for his FL. He has never written a love story before.
Night rolls in and Xiao Xiu doesn't understand why he can't sleep with her but soon, she gets it when they're too close on the bed. Chi Yan takes the couch. When he's in deep sleep, Lin Mo sneaks inside to kill him by stabbing him but there's a magical barrier protecting Chi Yan.
Chi Yan upgrades his phone ~ Gone is the flip phone! The main purpose of the new smart phone is so he can use a location tracking app. He doesn't want to lose Xiao Xiu again.
Chi Yan and Xiao Xiu find the man who cat-napped her. They follow him to the hospital but lose him. Instead they bump into Dr. Liu. Xiao Xiu is suspicious of everything. Could the psychopathic cat-napper be a doctor? Mystery novels are like that! Our Dr. Liu keeps his bright and gentle smile on.
[Ep15] Chi Yan and Xiao Xiu catch the cat-napper.
Everyone is volunteering at an animal shelter. Xu Zi Hao's sister, Xu Zi Qi takes an interest in Dr. Luo. Meanwhile our second couple (Xu Zi Hao and Qin Ming Ming) accidentally kiss not once, but twice. She's the one who pulled him in for the kisses, by accident, of course, and so she can't blame him.
Xiao Xiu's hormones are activated! She's in breeding season~ haha. She really wants Chi Yan's body to reproduce. Chi Yan desperately calls our vet for advice. Xu Zi Hao is like, Easy neuter your cat. Clearly, that's not an option. Xu Zi Hao's next advice: Alright, then what type of breed do you want, I have "this breed" and "that breed". Hahaha. Well, none of those are plausible options. The only way is to wait it out. It can take a few days and up to half a month.
Chi Yan bundles Xiao Xiu in a blanket and explains to her about her mating season. Oh, Xiao Xiu knows. Although she never experienced this before, she knows and she doesn't get why they can't reproduce. She likes him and he likes her, what is wrong? Because we're in a Chinese romcom, that's what's wrong.
Our Xiao Xiu isn't giving up on breeding. She'll do it the human way. She seduces Chi Yan with her sexiness (by watching her own dance performance from when she was on Youth With You 2, I believe). But Chi Yan is stubborn too. He moves to Xu Zi Hao's place to avoid her. However, he soon moves back because there's a thunderstorm. And I think mating season is over. Shucks.
[Ep16] Qin Ming Ming and Xu Zi Hao have a one night stand after a bit too much booze. She ignores him the next day. Xu Zi Hao shows up at her work place outside her window to give her this message:
"Even though you dumped me on the streets. .. I still choose you. ... That night was my happiest night. ... You can continue to not care, and I don't care about that. I! – big pause – will continue to love you."
Xu Zi Hao leaves after his confession. Qin Ming Ming closes the blinds but the next moment, she grabs her set of keys. She chases after him on her motorbike~ She stops his car and tells him, "I want to be with you, do you have any problem with that?" No ma'am, he does not. She grabs him out of the window to kiss him. This time it's not an accident.
Xiao Xiu's dad is here! Obviously, he can't accept a human as his son-in-law. He wants Chi Yan to make his wish and pronto.
[Ep17] Xiao Xiu babysits Dad to prevent him from burning down Chi Yan's bookstore and killing his Goldie. Like father, like daughter. However, Dad still gets his hands on Chi Yan and almost kills him – by accident. Good thing it failed but now Xiao Xiu is furious. Dad just has this deep innate distrust towards humans. But Chi Yan's actions and words convince Dad that Xiao Xiu is in good hands. Also, Chi Yan was never afraid of Dad because he knows Dad is a good cat.
On the topic of marriage, Xu Zi Hao pukes. He asks Chi Yan for advice, and since he can't hear or speak of "marriage", they replace it with "un-un" (i.e. "blah-blah"). And so the conversation is like Oh you can't even hear of un-un? Xu Zi Hao answers, When I am forced to un-un, I can't, I will 'ugh'. So (Chi Yan) are you going to un-un (with Xiao Xiu))? Chi Yan doesn't know how to answer if he can un-un. His problem is slightly more complicated. Expect me to use un-un repeatedly xD.
Lin Mo discovers Xiao Xiu is a cat and the sister of the cat he loves. Lin Mo introduces himself to Xiao Xiu's Dad and tells him that Chi Yan is the murderer of the sister. Dad doesn't believe it because he trusts Chi Yan. Dad tells Lin Mo to let go of his hate. Lin Mo can't.
Next, Lin Mo He approaches Xiao Xiu and reveals his cat-man identity. He tells her when a human has a Cat-Print on them, it will allow cats to turn into humans. And so Xiao Xiu returns home to look for this Cat-Print.
[Ep18] Xu Zi Hao tells Qin Ming Ming the truth about his fear of un-uns. His parents divorced when he was child and the way they argued left a scar in his heart. Recently, his condition has worsened to the point that he can't even hear un-un. It means she is really important to him. He really loves her. Qin Ming Ming smiles and understands. She's willing to work it out with him.
What are Lin Mo's intentions for telling Chi Yan about the Cat-Print? He knows Chi Yan has it but wants Xiao Xiu to take it from him so that he can kill Chi Yan. The Cat-Print is protecting Chi Yan. Fortunately, they manage to escape that one, but Chi Yan is sent to the hospital for his injuries. He's okay, though.
Dad and Cat-Grandpa find Lin Mo. They convince him to visit Chi Yan and to hear him out. Lin Mo is starting to believe Chi Yan isn't the murderer but he still can't let go of his hate. He needs to find the murderer. Chi Yan promises to help.
Back to Xu Zi Hao's un-un problem: he's watching romance dramas and writing un-un repeatedly – and he's puking repeatedly. He begs Chi Yan and Xiao Xiu to train him. Our couple has to wear a mask to talk to him because he's been vomiting too much. Omg, lol. They take him to marriage centres and weddings and we get more puking.
[Ep19] The cat-napper threatens Dr. Luo for money or else he'll testify against the doc. Xiao Xiu catches the last bit of their exchange but Chi Yan dispels her suspicions. Dr. Luo is a good guy....
There's a dinner gathering (Dad has returned to Meow-Planet because he trusts Chi Yan). He Meng and the lawyer are an item. They all take part in the plan to gather evidence on the cat-napping ring. Unfortunately, things go awry and Xiao Xiu is severely injured while protecting Chi Yan. Her condition is so rare that doctors don't know what to do. Xu Zi Hao takes a look at the lab data and realizes this isn't human blood composition. Cat-Grandpa is here before Xu Zi Hao says anymore. The only way to save Xiao Xiu is for her to return to Meow Planet. And so Chi Yan makes his wish to free Xiao Xiu. His wish: for her to be safe
Xiao Xiu is awake ~ but the world no longer remembers her. No one knows who she is.
[Ep20] Animation: A long, long time ago, there was a cat who fell in love with a human. He didn't make his wish so that he could be with the cat. However, a friend exposed his desire and so the cat was forced to return to Meow-Planet. She knows she's about to die and returns to see her lover one last time. Her spiritual powers enter his bookmark (the one Chi Yan has?) and she returns to Meow-Planet to die.
Cat-Grandpa explains to Xiao Xiu that the world has removed her existence, no one remembers her and they have all returned to the state before they met her. There's nothing she can do to undo Chi Yan's wish. Xiao Xiu tries to approach Chi Yan but he's back to who he was initially; he doesn't like humans.
Xiao Xiu continues to pester Chi Yan but no matter what she does, he doesn't remember her. However, she is getting his attention. He's willing to believe her story (because she knows him way too well) but the truth is he has no memories of her.
Xiao Xiu gives Chi Yan a present: a bookmark. But he doesn't accept it.
Oh, and the cat-napping no longer exists. Xiao Xiu had asked Chi Yan and he's like they're all caught.
Second Couple: Qin Ming Ming takes Light-bulb (her dog) to Xu Zi Hao's vet. Light-bulb is scared of males so Xu Zi Hao dresses up as a female, a rather convincing female, I would say. The hair suits him. Even in a new world without Xiao Xiu, Xu Zi Hao still falls in love with Qin Ming Ming (but he hasn't broken up with his girlfriend yet).
[Ep21] Chi Yan teaches Xiao Xiu kendo. Chi Yan may not remember her, but his heart does ~ When she's about to fall, he cushions the fall with his body. Then when a car almost runs her over, he dashes to save her. Flashes of memories come back but he still doesn't understand them.
Xiao Xiu accidentally transforms in front of Chi Yan. Now he knows she's a cat-girl. She's actually having difficulty keeping her human form because she doesn't owe Chi Yan anything and he doesn't have his Cat-Print. Her days in his world are numbered.
Oh yeah, Zhang Yi is still annoying. Where is Lin Mo?
[Ep22] Chi Yan is a tad upset that Xiao Xiu continues to mention the past he can't remember.
Just when Chi Yan is falling in love, he learns from Cat-Grandpa that the longer Xiao Xiu stays with him, the more danger she'd be in. She can't sustain her human form. It's settled: Cat-Grandpa will take Xiao Xiu back to Meow-Planet. Before she leaves, Chi Yan asks Xiao Xiu for the bookmark (that he refused last time). This bookmark is indeed the Cat-Print. Chi Yan's memories are restored. Then the bookmark takes the form of a cat-girl. She is Mo Xi, a legend in Meow-Planet. She fell in love with a Chi ancestor (wait, but if Chi Yan is a direct line, then the guy moved on). Mo Xi tells them she had made a wish and sealed a bit of her cat powers inside the bookmark. Her wish is for all true love between cats and humans to be realized, and that humans will be protected from cat-laws, and that cats can take human form to be with the human they love. Girl, what a long and thought out wish.
Second Couple: Xu Zi Hao's girlfriend breaks up with him by showing up with a new boyfriend. Xu Zi Hao asks her if he ever wronged her. Emotionally, I say yes. She says no, but she can't stay with him if he can't marry her. Qin Ming Ming sees this. She comforts him.
Third Couple: Xiao Xiu hooks up Lawyer with He Meng.
[Ep23] Dr. Luo visits Chi Yan's book store (that's closing down because the area is under reconstruction) and recognizes a white snowy cat.
There's still a cat-killer on the loose. Xiao Xiu remembers the suspicious exchange between Dr. Luo and the cat-napper. This time Chi Yan tries to verify but Du Luo has an explanation for it.
In the morning, Chi Yan is trying to work on his novel. Xiao Xiu is lying on the bed, swinging her legs in only a long tee. Chi Yan smiles at her long slender legs, haha. It's not common seeing a ML looking like a pervert when it really should be a normal thing. He begs her to leave his room. She's too much of a distraction.
Second Couple: Xu Zi Hao confesses to Qin Ming Ming. He knows he has a problem (his un-un-phobia) and that he can't promise anything but he can tell the world he loves her. This confession is made at her building for her entire condo to hear and witness. Qin Ming Ming shouts that she accepts. They're together ~
[Ep24] Dr Luo's cat present (the one that looks like Xiao Xiu's sister) has a webcam inside. Once he knew Chi Yan wasn't at home, Dr. Luo cat-naps her. He's our psychopathic cat murderer. Chi Yan, Qin Ming Ming, Xu Zi Hao and Lin Mo find Dr. Luo's lair – it's an underground laboratory. Anyone else confused how Lin Mo got in the picture?
Chi Yan is separated from the rest. Dr. Luo laid a trap for Chi Yan and now he's captured too. Dr. Luo hates people like Chi Yan: smart, kind, and sincere. Most importantly, Chi Yan is too "clean", refusing to be tainted by the world around him. By accusing Chi Yan of killing the cats, Dr. Luo was helping him. ...Yes. He was showing Chi Yan the cruel reality. He allowed Chi Yan to be holed up in his bookstore in order to be free and happy. Yes. Dr Luo asks, "Shouldn't you be grateful to me?" Yes.
Just as Dr. Luo lays his scalpel on Xiao Xiu, a black cat attacks Dr. Luo. It's Lin Mo. This is his chance to avenge Xiao Xiu's sister. He holds down Dr. Luo for Chi Yan to escape with Xiao Xiu but Dr. Luo escapes after severely injuring Lin Mo.
Dr. Luo is on the roof. Chi Yan and Xiao Xiu find him. He threatens Xiao Xiu that if she doesn't take him to Meow Planet, then he'll expose their cat species to the police who are arriving en route. He reminds them he did nothing illegal. He didn't kill any human being. Xiao Xiu is in tears as she hollers that their species is no different from humans; they have feeling and they can be hurt too. Chi Yan puts his forehead to Xiao Xiu's. It's a goodbye. The next second, he runs at full speed towards Dr. Luo and takes him down. They both fall off.
And they're both alive.
Dr Luo is mentally unstable and can only meow. His cat brutality is exposed to the media.
Chi Yan is fine. And so is Lin Mo! He's also leaving. He wants to revisit all the places to remember Xiao Xiu's sister now that he's free from hate. Xiao Xiu worries for him but Chi Yan holds her back. Lin Mo walks away and wistfully looks up at the stars. He's looking at Xiao Xiu's sister ~
Chi Yan and Xu Zi Hao are cleaning up the bookstore after the party. Xu Zi Hao complains about the amount of cat fur. Chi Yan is like, "Once you're married, you'll know." Wait, they're married? On the topic of un-un, Xu Zi Hao wants to un-un with Qin Ming Ming. Chi Yan is happy for him but Xu Zi Hao is confused how he knows what un-un means. Xu Zi Hao, we've been there and we've done that, dw.
Xu Zi Hao proposes. He's got the Marry Me and the flowers, and a bucket!! For puking. LOL. It's once again at the building and he's disturbing all of Qin Ming Ming's neighbours and this time with a megaphone.
Xu Zi Hao: Today, even if I am going to puke to death, I still have to ask you –Qin Ming Ming: Don't say it! I do!Neighbour Lady: Tsk tsk. No reservations at all.Qin Ming Ming runs down and asks Xu Zi Hao: You can't say it but at least, you have it, right?
Xu Zi Hao drops on one knee and slips the ring on her finger. Aw ~ The cutest non-puking marriage proposal ever.
The last scene: Chi Yan can't help but kiss Xiao Xiu but they hide behind a book in their cozy little bookstore.

Remarks
[First Impression (Ep1-6)] I don't get Cdramas and their obsession with cats turning into humans and yet here I am enjoying another one. We have a two year old Cat-Girl who owes a human man a favour and until she satisfies his one true wish, she can't return to her Meow Planet. She's a pretty smart kitty and he's a very caring human behind his aloofness. The first three episodes are fun and then it does slow down but it's still enjoyable for a cute romcom. By the way, anything involving Cat-Girl's name is hilarious.
[Actors/Actresses] Unlike anyone else, I was waiting for this drama for Ren You Lun. He may not be the best looking guy out there but he has this charming comedic beat and screen presence. The last time I saw him leading a drama, he was also taking care of a weirdo, ha.
