3rd Bro and Liang Tian (cousin) return home. Liang Tian has found a way to cure Ran Ran's poison, which was why they disappeared for so long. Her cousin tells Ran Ran that her dreams are the key to lifting the curse. Its not just these two helping Ran Ran. Her parents are adamant that her daughter is innocent when guards show up at their place. Qin Lang has halted all searches for Ran Ran.

Ri Xuan: Of course you're still alive. You still owe me. I'm punishing you by having you with me forever.She tells him it was his voice that saved her from the nightmare. But she'll still have to return to that dream to lift her curse.
3rd Bro, Yao Bing and Qin Lang all work together to help Ran Ran. They hid all the young females in the city so Qing Tian can't feed on them. A hungry Qing Tian is forced to confront them that night. Yao Bing tells her sister that their father had passed away. There's emotion in her face but Qing Tian forces herself to gather control. As she's surrounded by enemies, she rings that bell of hers making Ran Ran faints over and controlling Qin Lang's soldiers. amidst the chaos, she escapes. Ri Xuan chases after her to convince her to surrender but no cigar.
Qin Lang now has proof that Su Ran Ran isn't the murderer. Proven not guilty, Ran Ran happily returns home. Ri Xuan officially meets her parents and asks for Ran Ran's hand for marriage. Dad puts on that stern look but Mom quickly approves. Dad's not happy.
When night falls, Ran Ran returns to her dream world. She's more confident now in facing the Red Lady.
Ran Ran wakes from her dream. She apologizes to Ri Xuan for risking his life to help her.
They execute the plan and figure out Qing Tian is only aiming to capture Ran Ran. Qing Tian's voice hovers over them taunting them to come out and catch her. Mu Chen and Ri Xuan fly out to catch her leaving Qin Lang to protect Ran Ran. If you boys knew her goal was Ran Ran, why leave her?? When the boys realize they fell for Qing Tian's trap, its too late. There's more spinning going on as Qing Tian once again tries to possess Ran Ran's body. This time Qing Tian has enough blood and power to complete the soul swap. Ran Ran is now possessed by Qing Tian and no one suspects anything.
Mom has an ominous feeling as her bracelet snaps. She sends her sons to check on Ran Ran. 7th Bro is a little peeved to find that his precious little sister seems distant. Meanwhile Mu Chen tracks down "Qing Tian". He almost kills her but her tears stop him. He confirms she's not Qing Tian because she doesn't talk as much, ha. At least he trusts her this time. She tells him what she finds the scariest in the world: "It's not being chased by Red Lady, nor is it being chased by Qing Tian, but it's being chased by you (Mu Chen)."
They learn about Qing Tian and why she needs blood to survive. Its because she absorbed Dao Shi's power and it's clashing with the Red Lady power. Their contrasting forces will slowly kill her if she doesn't have adequate fresh maiden blood.
Ran Ran has seven days to return to her body otherwise the change will be permanent (as per Liang Tian's medical books).
The next morning, fake Ran Ran (Qing Tian) tells him to say "I love you." He does. She takes off her the first layer of her clothes and approaches him. He's confused. She tries to kiss him and that's when Ri Xuan finally figures out that this Ran Ran is not his Ran Ran. Despite knowing that, he can't bear to injure Ran Ran's body and Qing Tian uses this fact to threaten him that she'll take Ran Ran to hell with her. She reminds him that Mu Chen is already off to kill Ran Ran. But her plans fail as everyone (Mu Chen, Qin Lan, Liang Tian, and 3rd Bro) show up to capture her.
The possessed Ran Ran tearfully cries: Why does everyone love and protect her so much? I wonder that too sometimes.
Ri Xuan has actually entered her dreamworld to find her. As they wake from her dream, the curse is almost lifted. She still needs proper rest to completely lift the curse.
Meanwhile Qing Tian is unconscious. Yao Bing needs to return to Tai Yi Shan to help her sister recover. 5th Bro doesn't want her to leave. He tells her he wants to marry her. But Yao Bing has to leave. Why? What does helping her sister recover have to do with her love life? Long distance relationship, perhaps. He tells her he'll wait for her.
Ri Xuan tells her he needs to leave for a few days to prepare for his wedding proposal. Where's the surprise. She pouts that she can't see him then.
The life and death crisis is over but there's one more problem stopping our love birds: the's Emperor's edict to grant the marriage between Qin Lang and Ran Ran as well as Liang Tian's. Ran Ran faints over at the news. This is her last time fainting.
Liang Tian and 3rd Bro decide to elope even if their lives are at risk. Meanwhile Qin Lang refuses to marry for Ran Ran's sake. To refuse the King's order is a death sentence but because of his loyalty and achievements, he only gets sent to the countryside, and is banned from ever returning to the city. What did he do to deserve this? Loving Ran Ran? And then not getting her love back in return? And then being treated like a criminal for refusing a marriage despite all his achievements? What did his dad do to deserve losing his son this (he already lost his first son)?
At Tai Yi Shan, Qing Tian finally speaks for the first time. She wants Yao Bing to go find her love. Yao Bing is simply so happy that her sister is finally talking.
Love that little family moment where they're are worried about 3rd Bro and Liang Tian eloping. Mom and Dad walk in very strictly and suddenly let a small smile out. The entire family is jumping for joy because they know everything will be okay. Mom probably went to beg the Emperor for a favor. Okay so why is only Qin Lang being punished? Where's his happy ending??
It's wedding day and Ran Ran is still being doted by her brothers (2nd Bro is taking care of her skin, 4th Bro is taking care of her appetite, and 7th Bro is taking care of her makeup, hair, and accessories). None of the men in the family are looking forward to sending her off.
Ran Ran is too excited to marry Ri Xuan that she forgets all the customs and runs out to greet him (instead of waiting inside for him to pick her up). Mom kindly warns Ri Xuan that if she were to bully her, all of the men in her family will be after him, ha. A very scary threat indeed. Dad woefully, and reluctantly gives his daughter's hand to Ri Xuan. And off they go to their happily wedded life.
But not so fast. Ran Ran's newly wed husband is receiving a hard time from all seven brother-in-laws as they block his path. Ran Ran's having none of that as she runs towards her husband. The brothers have one condition: they want to live with their sister too, lol. Well.
Ri Xuan's silent but his actions says it all. He takes her upon his horse and they gallop away. No way will he let the brothers intrude upon their married life. The brothers are planning to chase them (by foot) but Yao Bing comes to stop them.
5th Bro thinks that she still needs to care for her sister so...
He brightens right up and looks to his brothers who are all supporting him. When he turns back around to face her, she pulls him in for a kiss. (Note: 3rd Bro and Liang Tian are enjoying their eloped life. They've decided they will return home when she gets pregnant.)
From afar, Ran Ran and Ri Xuan are watching them. Her returns her the jade. She tells him that the jade was her brother's present to her to give to her future husband.

Red Lady tells her it was him who betrayed her, she had no fault. Red Lady envies her for having so many people willing to risk their lives for her. She contemplates that this must be fate, her destiny.
Ran Ran: If there is no hate, then there is no curse. One's destiny can be changed.
Red Lady: Forget it. You may leave.
Ri Xuan: We still have forever.Ran Ran sees her 5th Bro aimlessly standing at the door waiting for Yao Bing and asks him: why not just visit her yourself instead of waiting. That's what I'm saying.

Now I sort of remember why I liked his drama. I envied how she had so many brothers doting on her. That was just ridiculous, ha. I was also enamored by Ri Xuan's charismatic and mysterious love towards Ran Ran. And then 5th Bro and Yao Bing's love line was cute especially with him being so passive towards her.
