A reminder of the two scores I'll be giving for each drama:
Romance level - how much I shipped or was satisfied with the romance (which does not translate to how romance-saturated the drama was)
- Max: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Overall rating - a general scheme:
- 10.0 - Loved it from the opening to the ending with lingering emotions
- 7.0 - Engaging but forgettable

Started off great but fell rather flat near the end. The show made me love Jo Hyun Jae and Lee Yo Won. I wished they fleshed out more of their chemistry though...

I was probably the few that enjoyed this immensely while it was airing. I think people went elsewhere, e.g. The Greatest Love. As much as I love the Hong Sisters, TGL did not work for me.
My first Choi Daniel and Jang Nara drama; he was actually more adorable than her and she was the heroine you would absolutely support.

Oh, how in love I was with these two. Who's Geum Jan Di? My romance rating above is entirely for SoEul couple
I can completely understand why people would hate this drama but it's just really hard for me to hate something I loved.

More LMH. There are people that love him and there are people that hate him. I feel nothing for him. He's just always in my dramas.
This drama started off splendidly but like most of its Kdrama predecessors and successors, it falls flat near the end. The romance also lost its spice for me, which was ironic because LMH and Park Min Young took their onscreen romance off-screen as well. (LMH really like his pretty girls, doesn't he?)

Man, this makes me really want to watch a good Yoon Eun Hye drama. Where art thou!
It's been so long since I watched this I don't remember much about it except that there was this really awesome make out scene. Yoon Eun Hye cried in a BTS for ending her role with Go Eun Chan (I cried with her). And so, because of my lack of memory, please don't take my rating for this one too seriously.

I can't see why people wouldn't love this. Break out role of Kim Soo Hyun because he really wasn't over-hyped in this one; he deserved every hype. Awesome school drama about awesome underdogs. Plus an adorkable romance. Backed up by great performances by the teachers. Silly, romantic, heartfelt.
Yeah okay, this was good. And you guys all know it already.

I really like these there-but-not-there romances. Oblivious to Lee Yeon Hee's infamous acting talents, I found her enjoyable in Ghost. Her character didn't require much anyways. But let's not discredit her too much because I quite liked the omnipresence of her chemistry with So Ji Sub.
I was a little disconcerted with So Ji Sub, though. He took on Choi Daniel's role but he completely lost the fun-ness in the character. & Kudos to Choi Daniel for getting the chemistry starting with Lee Yeon Hee in his short cameo.

Stupid Ugly Alert for making me search endlessly for another family drama to satiate myself. This was fun in the beginning but boring near the end. Why would you want to watch it? To discover how great Jae Woo is. I'm totally stalking Lee Sang Woo's next project.

I'd put this in my Recommended List but I get that this is a tad old but a classic is a classic. However, the stupid ending made me really fed up (hence I docked off 0.5). I watched this before Coffee Prince but compared to that drama, there are so many scenes that I still remember fondly from HGD which makes me think: "Ahh, I really did love this drama."

Wow, I almost forgot about this drama. I would have never watched this if I didn't have the DVDs. This ain't something I'd tell people to watch nowadays but I'd like to say this is way above and beyond the makjang people are surprisingly engrossed in these days. There's no character that exists solely for hating on (*cough-Lee Yoo Ri-cough*). There's no room for fillers. Although things can go horribly wrong for Kim Tak Goo, hating the writers didn't even cross my mind, I was genuinely worried for the poor guy. This thing was chock full of great story-telling.
The cast was filled with newbies as main roles but that's what made the show great - they poured their heart into their roles, especially Yoon Shi Yoon and Joo Won. Yoon Shi Yoon will forever be Tak Goo for me (though I wish he can find a another role this one) and Joo Won's character was a splendid foil to Tak Goo. Despite playing the bad guy, Joo Won was the dark horse in this drama - my love was torn between these two men. But Yoon Shi Yoon held his footing and together, they had some awesome brotherly moments.
As for the romance, others would call lacking, but I personally found it cute. I was yearning for more though.

The producers were probably Soulmate fans because cameos of the male costars appeared as Lee Soo Kyung's past lovers, plus the fact that both shows used her real name.
Let's Eat was an odd thing for me because I liked the story-telling more than the chemistry. To be frank, I didn't feel the pull between Lee Soo Kyung and Goo Dae Young. A wee part of me - okay maybe a large part of me - wanted her to choose the Lawyer. I'm totally fine being alone on this sunken ship. But those Dae Young and Soo Kyung shippers aren't faring so well either in Season 2. HAHA. (I'm kidding! Really! I swear.)
As for the eating, it didn't entice me as much as it did others. The nerves connecting my brain to my taste buds must be the world's dullest things ever.

2014 was a disappointing drama year for me so when this came rolling along I was ecstatic.
I love Kim Hae Sook. You're probably wondering who the heck she is. The mother-in-law. Yes, there's no doubt that Han Groo and Yeon Woo Jin carried the success of this drama but let's admit the latter part of this drama was a tad tedious with just the two. However, the relationship between the mother and Jang Mi was something I never thought could exist in dramaland. I don't know why no one thought of teaming up the scheming mother-in-law with the leading lady sooner because it opens up for so much more hijinks. So refreshing.

A lack of romance but still a high rating. Not bad, not bad. I'll echo others and commend on the great bromance between Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin.
But I'm definitely peeved that they reunited Jang Nara and Choi Daniel without given them a proper romance. The chemistry was there!

If anyone could have predicted tvN's success in 2010, the prelude would have been this drama.
