[First Impression (Ep-)] Zhong Yi Ming grew on me. I find Zheng Gao Gui to be annoying, and it seems that the apple doesn't fall from the tree as her mother is about the same. However, they're not terrible people...just frustratingly clueless at times.
2CP-to-be, they're sweet and sour. ^_^ Sorry not sorry, screencaps are dominated by 2ML.
[Actors/Actresses] I was really here for Zhu Jia Qi who I loved in Really Meet Love That Day. (Sadly, I do not love that series in its entirety.) I've missed seeing him - and he sings and dances in this one, too. I've also grown quite fond of ML portrayed by Li Yi Nan, who I've only seen in clips of Closer to You 2.
A fairly easy and fun romcom to watch. No doormats here. The boys are the reasons to watch this.
This is my first time seeing Li Yi Nan (ML), who feels very natural in this role. He's grown on me and his patience with FL is to be commended. Ji Mei Han (FL) on the other hand...is her usual onscreen self – hilarious, annoyingly wrong and sometimes clever. A rich girl who is suddenly broke and has to get a job, and won’t accept handouts. But ML secretly helps her… They’re the childish main CP who grow up as the series progresses.
However, the main reason I watched this series is because of Zhu Jia Qi (2ML), and he did not disappoint. He's a great friend to FL and doting to 2FL. (I cannot help but giggle every time he dances. :D) Luo Mi (2FL) is the straight man to his oddball antics. They’re the sweet and sour brains of the bunch.
I wanted to rate this one higher but I did not care for the childhood connection/secret storyline that they dragged out. Nor did I like that the villain wasn’t ousted until near the end as they were too lenient on him.
