[The Story Simplified (Ep1-6)] Xu Nuo is a new CEO who will confiscate the gym that is given to Ke Si Yi's father to run his boxing team (Mad Tiger). Xu Nuo doesn't feel any emotions or pain after he lost his mother in a car accident three years ago. From then on he only gives people three minutes to convince him of anything. He's shrewd and cold. On the other hand, Ke Si Yi is highly sensitive to emotions. Unbeknownst to both of them she is the volunteer to his therapy sessions where he has been trying to regain his emotions. A VR simulation goes wrong and Xu Nuo suddenly feels pain but it's not his pain. It's Ke Si Yi's. In reverse, Ke Si Yi doesn't feel any of her pain but she does feel Xu Nuo's emotions that he doesn't feel. Thus he gets her pain and she gets his emotions. 

Ke Si Yi had applied to be Xu Nuo's bodyguard to find a way to get the gym back. However, now that he's feeling her pain, he needs to protect her to protect him. Thus we get an onslaught of these type of lines from him: "Your body is mine!", "If you're hurt, I will be in pain.", etc. Anyone normal would think this CEO suddenly fell in love with a plain girl (i.e. every other CEO drama) but he's being serious. Any injury on her, the pain is inflicted on him. 

Ke Si Yi is his saviour. Three years ago, it was Ke Si Yi who motivated Xu Nuo to stay alive. She found him on the site of the car crash and gave him a wish bracelet (that was from her late mother). He's been looking for her for three years and still hasn't found her. 

[Ep2] When Ke Si Yi is on her period and having cramps, Xu Nuo feels it all. The pain is so bad, he’s in child’s pose all day and is even hospitalized. 

 
[Ep3] Xu Nuo takes over the CEO position by firing this other guy. When Ke Si Yi observes Xu Nuo from afar, she oddly feels pain, sadness and bitterness.

[Ep4] Xu Nuo demands Ke Si Yi to sleep with him. 

[Ep5] What Xu Nuo meant by sleeping with him is to have Ke Si Yi on the ground next to his bed. He even ties their wrist together so that she can’t leave and injure herself. 

[Ep6] Xu Nuo hates his birthday because his mother died on that day. Unbeknownst to Ke Si Yi, she tries to convince him to be happier. In return, he’s even angrier and throws a fit at her. Zhou Yan Xin (Xu Nuo's secretary) tells her the truth. She cries but she cries too much. Xu Nuo realizes his emotions are transferred to her. He asks her if she knows why this happened to them. Ke Si Yi smiles and tells him it’s because of love! 

[Ep7] Xu Nuo doesn’t feel his own emotions but he sees that his emotions are hurting Ke Si Yi. He touches the furrow between her eyebrows to release her tension.

[Ep9] Xu Nuo misunderstands Li Yun Zhu as the girl who saved him. He also thinks Li Yun Zhu is dating Liang Zhai Xiao and so he asks Ke Si Yi what her ex is like. He wants her saviour to be happy with her boyfriend. When Xu Nuo can’t take his eyes off of Lin Zuo, Ke Si Yi is feeling a twang of jealous and this time it’s her own feelings, not his.

[Ep10] The funny hijinks are here! Xu Nuo gets way too close to Ke Si Yi and since they both like each other both their heart-rates soar. He's trying to hide his heart rate meanwhile Ke Si Yi thinks it's her own heart rate (for her, isn't it actually double the heart rate?). 

Ke Si Yi warns Xu Nuo she'll be on her period soon. Xu Nuo is the one who's agitated for her. He's deathly afraid of her cramps. He researches everything to lessen the pain and takes care of her like she's a queen. Anyone else would think he's the perfect boyfriend, haha. 

[Ep11] Dinner gets awkward when Ke Si Yi wants a rose but Xu Nuo doesn’t let her because the rose is withering. It isn’t worth it. Ke Si Yi pouts. Liang Zhi Xiao says he’ll buy it for her but then Li Yun Zhu grows jealous and says she wants one too. Without a word, Xu Nuo buys it for Li Yun Zhu. Ke Si Yi storms off. Xu Nuo chases after her. If it’s a rose she wants, he can buy all of them at a flower shop they’re currently standing in front of. But. Ke Si Yi doesn’t want the rose. The rose isn’t the issue anymore. Xu Nuo doesn’t get it. I actually think Xu Nuo not buying the rose for Ke Si Yi shows more love. If I buy something for someone I love, I’ll buy what the person wants but I’ll also consider the quality. I’ll want that person to have the best. For someone I don’t love, the quality doesn’t matter (that much). 

[Ep12] The next day, Xu Nuo prepared a surprise for Ke Si Yi in his trunk. It's full of flowers of all kind! Xu Nuo has no idea how romantic he is right now. 

A drunk and jealous Ke Si Yi grabs Xu Nuo for a kiss as she asks him if he likes her. The aftermath: Zhou Yan Xin has to awkwardly relay messages between them when they clearly hear each other. The relationship between them worsens when Xu Nuo reveals he doesn't love Ke Si Yi at all. Keeping her close is only to protect him. Ke Si Yi leaves in tears. Zhou Yan Xin runs out to comfort her. What they both don't know is Xu Nuo isn't feeling the greatest himself as he sulks in his lonely home. 

[Ep13] Ke Si Yi doesn't usually wear heels and is amazed at how there isn't any pain or discomfort. Well, that's because all that pain is transferred to Xu Nuo. He grabs her legs and changes her heels into sneakers. Any onlooker would once again admire Xu Nuo's love for Ke Si Yi. 

[Ep14] When the boys (Xu Nuo and Liang Zhi Xiao) start a fight for Ke Si Yi, she actually kicked aside Liang Zhi Xiao. Liang Zhi Xiao was the one who started the fight because he thought Xu Nuo was bullying her. 

Ke Si Yi is guilty towards Liang Zhi Xiao but she can feel the merriness in Xu Nuo's heart. 

[Ep15] Li Yun Zhu lies to Xu Nuo that she’s the girl who saved him. She has a request of him: to be her boyfriend. Xu Nuo rejects. In his heart, there’s another girl. He happily goes home to see his Ke Si Yi. 

[Ep16] Xu Nuo confesses to Ke Si Yi. But how does he know he's in love if he has no feelings? Ke Si Yi drags him all over university to show off her rich and hot boyfriend.

Remarks

[First Impression (Ep1-6)] A typical yet not typical rom-com where a CEO isn't actually in love with a plain Jane. He just needs her to stop injuring herself for his own sake. 

Subjective thoughts. I'm sad about this. It's the story I usually like with actors I like but I just don't feel the chemistry. It sounds like a fun story on paper but it doesn't light up on screen.

I took a quick glance at this BTS of him rolling her over his body (he’s wearing a pink shirt and she’s wearing a green one – if I find the YouTube video, I'll link it). So much physical contact ~ ~ His hands are like everywhere. So cute for those who love this drama.
