[Ep1] Yue Ran is a fresh new graduate of a hotel management course. She’s devoted to her career at ZAD. On her first day of training, she catches a pervert. He’s Xie Fan Yu. He’s no pervert though. He’s the manager. Thus, on her first day she has already angered the top management (she plunged his pecs and chased him half-naked across the hotel are among the many things she's done to this poor innocent man). He’s not just the top management. He’s the CEO’s son. He's also predicting the hotel will only last for another six months if management continues to remain the same. He's here to revive the hotel.
Yue Ran admires “Golden Key”. It’s a title given to the hotel’s legendary employee. David is the “Golden Key” holder of ZAD. Yue Ran aspires to be like him. However, he’s about to quit if their hotel cannot satisfy this celebrity (James) who wants this cake that tastes exactly the same as 18 years ago.
Yue Ran uses crazy ways to make a crazy chef regain his sense of smell and his passion for cooking just to make the cake and to save David's job.
[Ep2] David’s job is safe but Yue Ran is fired. She left hotel premise during work hours (to convince the chef to return to the hotel). Yue Ran throws a fit at Xie Fan Yu but he’s giving her another chance to gain an extra point in his point system to keep her job. She has twenty four hours time limit.
Yue Ran catches a paparazzi flying a drone to capture pictures of James’ secret wedding. Her analysis of the paparazzi was so spot on, it impresses Xie Fan Yu. However, while she was away, the wedding dress disappeared on her watch. It was stolen by a crazy fan. Yue Ran follows her to her room. The crazy fan points a knife at her. Xie Fan Yu climbs through the balcony to help her. It makes the crazy fan accidentally injure Yue Ran’s arm instead. It looks more like it was Yue Ran protecting Xie Fan Yu the whole time. She had a hilarious monologue full of complaints towards him. James coaxes the fan girl who's much calmer in his presence. The fan girl suddenly notices he’s nowhere near the height he claims to be and he’s got blackheads. Her dream of him instantly shatters.
Yue Ran wakes up after fainting. It’s almost 12am. She’s about to be fired. She runs to Xie Fan Yu to beg him to let her stay. However, he won’t give her the point. He does give her a letter. She doesn’t want it thinking it's a resignation letter. But it’s a thank you letter from James. She got her point. Yue Ran stays. She expresses her happiness too loudly that Xie Fan Yu shushes her mouth with his hand. Thus, Yue Ran expresses her happiness in loud whispers. Xie Fan Yu reminds her to rest well before working. Yue Ran had completely forgotten about her injury. She finally remembers she’s feeling pain. This is an episode where he’s recognizing her capabilities and determination.
[Ep4] Xie Fan Yu gives her an enticing offer: if she spends the night with him (he doesn’t want her wandering around in alluring clothes) he’ll let her yell at him all she wants. It’s a deal. He takes her to a rooftop for some drinks. He’s only pouring her drinks though. He’s allergic to alcohol.
[Ep6] Xie Fan Yu helps Yue Ran investigate into her case and clears her name. (There's actually more to the case and Xie Fan Yu is secretly investigating into it. There's another force trying to tarnish the hotel completely.) Yue Ran wails at Xie Fan Yu for not telling her his plan. She doesn't like the lack of trust, and she had to suffer all the cold shoulder from everyone and a ton of online hate. Xie Fan Yu apologizes and bows 90 degree to her. That shuts her up immediately. She’s surprised he knows not to apologize.
Xie Fan Yu promises to give Yue Ran the assignment she wants if she helps him test which mattress is better. She helps him but she doesn’t get assigned to the front desk like he had promised. Yue Ran confronts him for lying to her after she “slept” with him and everything. That comment makes him flustered especially when she's yelling at him in front of other employees. Xie Fan Yu didn’t give her that position because of one reason: David is there. Obviously, he doesn't tell her that.

Their next hotel guest is a man who is suicidal. Yue Ran is fed up with the guest almost dying twice on her. Every hotel had blacklisted him but Xie Fan Yu insists to accept him. This man doesn’t actually want to die. He just wants to scare people and find inspiration to compose his music. Yue Ran is no longer surprised at him “dying”. She even uses white cloth to cover his face to let him rest in peace. He takes it off but she insists to leave it on, lol. These two connect over music.
Yue Ran and the composer play Ping Pong but she’s losing by a landslide. Xie Fan Yu substitutes for her and wins. Yue Ran excitedly jumps in joy but twists her ankle. Xie Fan Yu carries her to the office. Yue Ran begs him to let her down. She doesn't like being carried. That’s when Fan Yu realizes he’s carrying her down a slope. Fan Yu has a fear of slopes ever since he suffered a skiing accident. However with her in his arms, he completely forgot about his disorder. Surprised, he drops her back down. Then he remembers he was supposed to carry her to the infirmary. A little bit dazed, he picks her back up. Poor little Yue Ran is confused in and out of his arms. Later, Xie Fan Yu tells his mother that whenever he’s with this girl (Yue Ran) his fear of slopes disappears.
The next night, Yue Ran is dressed up prettily to go on her date with David to a concert. But he can’t make it. Xie Fan Yu also has a date. He thought Yue Ran asked him for dinner. He happily goes and was disappointed to see it was Jia Jia.

She tries to wake him up but he pretends to be asleep, dead asleep. Angrily, she takes him over her back so she can stuff him in the passenger seat to drive back to the hotel. The fake-sleeping Xie Fan Yu helps her out by secretly tippytoe-ing behind her to take his weight off her. Pft.
Xie Fan Yu avoids Yue Ran in the elevator. He pressed the 'close' button and Yue Ran runs away. But she realizes she's not the one who should be guilty. She reopens the door and enters righteously. She demands why he kissed her. He says he was drunk. She’s a bit relieved that he doesn’t like her. She does have David. That’s when Xie Fan Yu learns she likes David. Xie Fan Yu isn’t happy.
Xie Fan Yu consults a Love Expert (he reads tarot cards). Xie Fan Yu asks him who would a girl choose between him and David. David also consults the same expert about Xie Fan Yu. (David thinks she went on a date with Xie Fan Yu last night.) The Love Expert uses the exact same words he used on Xie Fan Yu. Lol, this is how fortunetelling works, folks. Saying the sane stuff that applies to every single person.

This is a career-oriented drama where there are successive guests who will lodge in this hotel and our leads will solve their problems while trying to revive the hotel. There’s an overarching romance. The ML falls in love with the FL lead first. He’s the childish type of guy when he’s in love. FL is passionate about her hotel career. The guests who stay in the hotel are quirky. So far it's a stable light rom-com, episodic in nature with different guests.
The guests at the hotel this time are a bunch of IT guys. The bosses are inviting their entire team to the hotel as their farewell but the team doesn't know it. The bosses are having a difficult time telling their team their company is bankrupt. To motivate their passion again, Yue Ran and Xie Fang Yu organize a team paintball. Where is this hotel? The IT guys win. The bosses uses this chance to tell their employees but to their surprise the team is willing to stay in these tough times.
Xie Fan Yu and David lay it on the table. They're both interested in Yue Ran and will fight each other fair and square for her.

[Actors/Actresses] I’m critical on actors I’ve seen a few times who have the same character. Ma Meng Wei is in that spot for me. If only there was a bit more breathing room between this drama and Poisoned Love because I do want to like her. I find her cuteness very unique, quirky and funny.
[Dropped] Not feeling this one.
