As of 2026, she is with Winner Entertainment (雲之鶴娛樂), alongside Xin Zhi Lei. Both actresses were previously closely associated with New Classics Media / Xinli (新丽传媒, one of the major drama production companies. Because of that, Zhu Zhu appears frequently in Xinli-produced projects, including The Tale of Rose, Sunshine by My Side, The Ordinary Road, Douluo Continent, and The Best Partner. Xinli is also behind titles like New Life Begins and Guardians of the Dafeng, as well as upcoming projects such as 將門毒后 (Wang He Di and Meng Zi Yi).

Her current management company, Winner Entertainment, was founded by a previous executive of Xinli, so she may still be within the Xinli ecosystem. (I’ll need time to confirm this and it would based on her future projects :D)

Her debut: VJ for MTV China in 2005. (She had interviewed Wallace Chung too, her 2026 ML in The Epoch of Miyu).
In 2009, she released her own album.
Her acting debut came in 2011: a supporting role in Andy Lau’s What Women Want.
Then she had a "Hollywood" career. She was signed under Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Her biggest global breakout came from playing Kokachin, the blue princess, in the Marco Polo (2014). She was also in Cloud Atlas, The Man With the Iron Fists, etc.
Her grandfather, Zhu Xu Zhi, was a major general in the People's Liberation Army. Therefore she’s a general’s granddaughter.
Her husband (m. 2021) is reported to be involved in academia, a lecturer at the Fine Art Department of Tsinghua University, as well as a businessman in the men’s suit industry, and a professional equestrian on the national team.
Her daughter’s name is Pearl, a nod to her name “Zhu” (珠), which means “pearl.”
Her ex in 2012 is the heir of Fiat, Lapo Elkann. You can find their red carpet pictures at the Cannes Film Festival.
