• As of 2026, Ren Jia Lun runs his own independent studio. He was previously signed to Huanrui (歡瑞世紀) from 2017–2024, the same company that's also previously known for Yang Zi (who left first), Liu Xue Yi, Zhang Yu Xi, etc. And now there's only Cheng Yi. (About Huanrui recently – April 20-23, 2026: they made headlines after being penalized by Chinese regulators for financial disclosure violations, specifically for inflating its financial performance between 2022–2023 to appear stronger than it was. Funnily, this headline just had to bring Ren Jia Lun and Yang Zi for the # ride because this was their old company.)
• Affectionately teased for his real name, 任國超 (Ren Guo Chao), because it's tackily patriotic. 国 (Guo) = country; 超 (Chao) = surpass / exceed. His name is propaganda. 
• Before acting, he trained professionally as a ping-pong player.
• At the peak of his first big break (The Glory of Tang Dynasty), he announced his marriage with Nie Huan and fatherhood. He met his wife on the set of Detective Dee. 
• It was his second peak with Under the Power that he locked in his status as a go-to for intense romantic ML roles. That makes him rare because despite being openly married, he’s been able to sustain that romantic lead image long-term. However, it does affect his kiss scenes. It's highly "speculated" he has a no-kiss clause. (Safe-wording, but I know for sure it existed by watching his dramas first-hand, but I'm not sure if he's more lenient now e.g. a peck is allowed.)
