Well, well, well. We have a Big ML competition. It's Luo Yun Xi vs. Gong Jun vs. Cheng Yi. I'm not sure if CY's Sword and Beloved counts as a big ML drama, but he's in the competition regardless. (Biggest winner? Possibly Chang Hua Sen who's in all of them. How'd he end up with them all airing at once lol)

Luo Yun Xi's Whispers of Fate overlaps more with Gong Jun's Blood River. Both are wuxias. Even the directors have a connection. The director for this, Chen Zhou Fei, also directed Dashing Youth, part of Blood River's universe. Teamed up with him is the assistant director, Qian Jin Wu, who worked on Love Between Fairy and Devil and Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. 

 

If the art style reminds you of Till the End of the Moon, correct. Same producer, Wang Yi Rong.
