• He is a natural on the saddle. Because! He is of Yi ethnicity. From Google: "They are a ethnic minority of 1.5 million living in Sichuan, particularly in the Liangshan region, south of the Dadu River. They typically live in rural, mountainous areas."
• A Splendid Match will be his very first ML.

The Creation of the Gods Hell Camp.

• January 2018 – June 2018. Training camp. Reportedly, he was 1 of 20 chosen from 15,000 applicants. And even then they weren't guaranteed a role. They had brutal long-term prep involving endurance work, early morning runs, horse riding, archery, martial arts, and enough historical-warrior training to make everyone look battle-ready – for a movie.
• What was different about Ci Sha was that after the trining camp, he didn't get the role as one of the "hostage sons" (e.g. Li Yun Rui, Chen Mu Chi).. He was prepared to leave, but then he was asked to play the immortal (Erlang Shen) instead. So that's how he ascended into immortality! He was promoted to lead role at the very last minute.
• September 2018. Filming started and last 18 months to shoot all three movies.
• June 20, 2023. Part I finally aired (5 years!!!!).
• January 29, 2025. Part II hit theatres. (But in between so many scandals for the MLs for Yu Shi and Chen Mu Chi)
