Remarks

[Cast&Crew] Lv Yu Lai is the director and co-scriptwriter! I love him as my super creepy guy in dramas but now he's directing a super romantic remake of One Spring Night. Hmmmmmm.

It’s complicated for the leads, their friends – and for us to follow. I’m annoyed by ML’s behavior and FL’s indecisiveness. Zhang Wan Yi and Sun Yi are good in their roles as they convey so much with their eyes. However, it’s a waste of a good cast. I am not a fan of 2CP either, as I find 2FL to be a great friend but a terrible romantic partner for 2ML. As far as exes go, let’s stop with the redemptions already. Yuan Wen Kang is a memorable face for me now.

Most consider this a slow-burn romance, but I feel that it’s just a long meandering road with dead-ends and unnecessary backtracking to the eventual happy ending. Skip this one and save yourself the angst and frustration exhaustion.
