Starring two little piggies 🐷, Both MLs are the same age (1995).
A bit of a field day for drama fans. Rumours had this pegged for a June 10 airdrop. Instead, the cast showed up for a livestream without mentioning an air date. Even some of the sponsors seemed confused. (My guess is that the drama's potential BL undertones may have made the road to broadcast a little bumpier than expected.) But they managed to scramble to land a June 11 airdrop.
The drama is directed by Zhou Jing Tao, whose resume includes A Journey to Love, Fight for Love, Guardian, etc. This time, he's tackling a Republican-era mystery adventure set within the tomb-raiding universe.
Xu Lei (Nan Pai San Shu), author of Grave Robbers' Chronicles (盜墓筆記), also serves as the screenwriter. This is one of the franchise's prequel stories long before Wu Xie's generation (the original ML in the Chronicles). You will actually get cameos from Wu Xie / Xu Zhen Xuan and Zhang Qi Ling / Cheng Xiang.
