His first present to her: a flag. (An honour-flag is what police officers give “model citizens” who did something brave. She wished him a happy birthday, lol).
When he upsets her, this is his full-of-effort effortless apology 📣
Part of the apology, he scams her into buying a DVD player in this day and age.

He can't even get funerals and weddings right. (Okay, not entirely his fault...but still)

And he can't do anything alone...not even apologizing (every apology with this guy is a whole production xD)
This drama isn't built on classic romance tropes though it might have some or one
Instead, him calling her face big counts as affection 🤣
And despite being a prickly grouch 24/7, he has a whole team that adores him – to the point they can translate his coughs like a second language.
