• As of 2026, she's runs her own independent studio. She was previously signed to Huanrui (歡瑞世紀), the same company that's also previously known for Ren Jia Lun, Liu Xue Yi, Zhang Yu Xi, etc. And now there's only Cheng Yi.
• She's one of those successful child actors who transitioned into adult stardom. Technically her big break would be Home With Kids in 2005 when she was 13. She is also one of the most durable 90'er, maintaining relevance across genres (xianxia, contemporary, historical).
• 💕💔 She had a high-profile relationship with Qin Jun Jie (2017-2018). Not the prettiest break-up with cheating allegations, which left a negative impact on his career while hers continued to rise. Yang Zi did clarify for Qin Jun Jie that their breakup had no third party.
