[Ep1] Sheng Xia stops her boyfriend's (Shen Kai) proposal by stealing the ring.
She accidentally hits Xu Tian, causing injury and making him amnesic.

She's now accused of assault causing injury.

Amnesic Xu Tian thinks she's his girlfriend.

[Ep2] SX takes XT back to the scene to trigger his memories. He takes advantage of her and kisses her. Déjà Vu, she smacks his head again and he's in the hospital again. Except Xu Tian isn’t amnesiac, he never was. He just needed an excuse to stay next to the lady he fell in love with at first sight.

[Ep3] Xu Tian's lawyer office is at a dingy coin laundry place, lol. It is here that XT contemplates on whether to accept a large sum of money from SX's boyfriend to settle the charges. He doesn't. As a result, SX is now in jail for not only her assault charge but also bribery.

[Ep5] They're at court. SX’s lawyer reveals her weakness: her intense insecurity in love and marriage. This insecurity translates to her daily life hence she used extreme force against XT. XT, the opposing lawyer and victim, surrenders the case for her and lies that he’s the one who threatened and assaulted (kissed) her first.

[Ep6] Shen Kai gives Xu Tian a large cheque to tell him to stay away from his (future) fiancée. Is this necessary? Where in these episodes did she show feelings for him? Everyone's throwing money at XT. Sheng Xia had given it to him as an apology and to express gratitude.

[Ep7] SX and XT meet coincidentally again: he's helping a restaurant owner fight a case; she's helping the owner revamp his image. Together they work to bring life back to the restaurant.

[Ep8] SX is embroiled in another case. Someone is suing her for plagiarism. SK hires XT but he wants XT to lose so she would have no choice but to remain at his side. SX also recruits him for help. Now she considers him as a friend, eh. He repeats all her words to him, reminding her that she once called him a non-friend. Who will he help?

[Ep9] Of course it's Sheng Xia. Xu Tian isn't going to help an alcoholic, as per his words to SK. SK's alcoholism is actually pretty serious, he even needs medication and counselling. I've never seen alcoholism in Cdrama like this. It's apparently to show how much sacrifice he's willing to suffer for his love to SX.

[Ep10] Secondary couple emerges: Jia Xiao Duo asks Han Ke for a date. She shows up with flowers at his doorstep. He literally runs away. 😂. Back to the case: SX loses her lawsuit (because she wanted to protect Xiao Duo).

[Ep11] SK and SX break up.

[Ep12] SX hits pit bottom, the two people supporting her are Xu Tian and her friend Xiao Duo. However, Xiao Duo helps her by being harsh to her, forcing her to see reality.

Remarks

Dropped (Ep12): Fails to be realistic. Their depiction of America, and chasing the American Dream is unrelatable. I feel none of FL's struggles: she's sued for assault, sued for plagiarism, jailed, filed lawsuit twice, and served community service hours. Um. She’s just a fashion designer.
